I'm really enjoying the side couples???? OMG this is one of those rare moments for me. I am never really into…
I heard that the novel had some rather problematic things, so I am glad if they diverge from it. Not to mention, what happen in the book may not translate very well to the screen, so I can see diverging as a good thing
That is so stupid. I am extremely disappointed about how corvid-19 affected SaifahZon (which is my favourite pairing…
By the time that ep8 aired, they should already be aware that even if they could get started filming instantly, there is no way to finish filming and editing by ep9 the next week. By that point, they should have some kind of statement prepared.
Anyway, the timing of the statement release is a pretty small thing in the grand scheme of things anyway.
I'm beginning to see why some actors don't want to do BL anymore because most of the fans are jerks. I just read…
That is so stupid. I am extremely disappointed about how corvid-19 affected SaifahZon (which is my favourite pairing on the show), but I understand that this is out of the show's control. Safety is obviously the most important thing, everything else is secondary. The only thing I wished for is a earlier release of the statement (like after ep8) so SaifahZon fans could adjust their expectations going forward, instead of doing it in a way that encouraged massive amount of speculations.
They will be airing bts footage instead of ep 11. Here is their entire statement:https://mobile.twitter.com/WHYRUTheSeries/status/1243934010864091136
Well, they will still finish the series, but it will focus a lot more on FighterTutor. As long as you like that couple, you should be fine. For SaifahZon fans, keep expectation low and wait patiently for the special episode when it eventually get made. For fans of the other side couples, hope for a season 2?
While watching the show, I was wondering why everything was going so fast since I thought it was a 12 episodes…
Yah, the fact that it is 4 episodes definitely influence the pace of the story a lot. I kind of wish that ep1-3 was stretch to the full 4 episodes, slowing the pace a little. It looks like ep4 is just mostly loving with each other, which while nice, could be done in the background in the other 8 episodes.
Well if this continue at that pace . ... i need another +100 episode's not JUST 7 !!!
Best hope is that this get popular enough for a second season. Since they already finished filming and with corvid19, they are definitely not filming additional episodes for this season.
Who's watching the LiveAtLunchxBrightWin tonight on Youtube? I'm so excite!!Update! The Live was around 26 minutes…
I like Bright and Win, but this video is setting really bad example for social distancing. That barrier seem to only block the table area, but if they even lean back slightly, they can face each other without a barrier. Also, they really shouldn't be doing promotion together at this time. I love these two, but I feel it is really irresponsible of GMMTV to send them out together to do promotions for a show that is already really popular.
The only way sending out together on promotions would be acceptable is if they both live together, so the risk of corvid19 is the same. Since as far as I know, this isn't the case, GMMTV should not be doing this.
putting this on hold, gonna flip out of I see only Tutor and Fighter again ;;I miss my Zon and Saifah
If you are only interested in Saifah/Zon, you could wait until they produce that special episode. Of course, continuing to watch is also a good way to show support for the show and hopefully encourage them to produce that special episode they promised.
Considering they are missing enough essential scenes to warrant a special episode, the remaining Saifah/Zon in the remaining episodes will probably be choppy. Like with conversation referencing things that was not shown or abrupt time skips or change in altitude. All understandable considering the situation, but be prepared an keep expectation low, basically.
Okay, see? I told you guys something was off with the last ep. Apparently, according to lazy subber, they aren't…
The special Saifah/Zon episode won't be filmed until the corvid-19 situation is over. So it probably won't be ready before the show ends with ep 14. Optimistically, it may be a few months before we see that special episodes. After all, it does take time to restart production, edit the episode, and potentially secure tv airing slot again.
Update from WhyRU Official:"Rough trans:1. EP11 will not be broadcasted next week but will broadcast special BTS…
I think at this point, it is pretty much a given that they won't be able to film in time since corvid19 isn't going away any time soon. So I guess we have SFZ special to look forward to in however much time before that is done.
Considering they need a special episodes to close out SFZ, I wonder if that special episodes is suppose to take place after the finale which has been filmed, or going to be a retelling of ep 9-14 with just SFZ (+ new filmed scenes)? Either way, I guess we should be prepared for SFZ to be choppy it is missing enough scenes to warrant a special episode
I wish they had wraped up this series with 10 episodes editing it so that SZ ending was the kiss and FTTT was…
I completely agree that they should probably have ended it with 10 episodes once they know about the production shutdown. I would have added in some additional SZ and other couples scenes throughout ep 9 and 10 though to kind of close out everyone story as best they can. This would have allow them to shorten some of the FT scenes that seemed to dragged down the pace of the story.
I wonder if they decided to go with pushing through to the original ending because they aren't positive they will get a S02? After all, they are a small studio and the higher ups may prefer a new BL since they might think that WRU has been milked as much as they could. This could be why the director thought that the best way forward is to use up as much of the filmed scenes as possible?
It sounds like an acknowledgement that the production has been affected by corvid-19, and the remaining scenes were only partially filmed. It also sounds like they are going to push through this and try to craft an ending using what has been filmed already. Hard to say how successful this approach would be, as it all depends on how many pivotal scenes are un-filmed. At the very least, I expect there will be a lot more flashbacks so they can use deleted scenes from older episodes. I wish the best of luck to the production crew, but we should all prepare for a bumpy ride as enter the home stretch
It sounds like they are going to piece together the the remaining episodes using what footage they have filmed and deleted footage from previous episodes. I suspect that the SaifahZon scene at the start of Ep 10 was a part of that. Half the scene was flashback of old footage, with a few scenes that is most likely deleted footage (the one of Saifah making the bracelet, the one of Zon and the roof key, and the one of Saifah walking along outside until he supposedly see Zon sleeping in the practice room).
OMG it's true.. I was hoping it was a lie but I see all the comments talking about the same thing.. I'm so worried,…
This facebook post seems to indicate they have limited scenes filmed before being affected by covid19 and that ep 10 is what they can piece together from what has been completed already. Considering even the one small scene for SaifahZon requires half of it to be flashback of old footage, I am a bit worried how they can end this show
This filming while airing episodes seems to be a common approach in the Thai industry. Even in North America,…
Eh, it is the norm in Hollywood. I can't think of one show that film the entire season before airing (for the usual 20-24 ep season). To prevent the show from catching up to the filming, that is why they sometimes have a one week break from new episode. Also why they usually have a large break over the winter holidays between the two halves of the season. It allows them to adjust plotlines as necessary based on feedback on the first half of the season
Hmmm.... I see a lot of comments everywhere saying that because of the world's current situation Why R U didn't…
This filming while airing episodes seems to be a common approach in the Thai industry. Even in North America, most TV shows only film a few episodes ahead of the current episode. Even Supernatural, an American show, has to go on a hiatus two episodes before the end of the series because covid-19.
Although I like the series, I thought this ep., at least the the Tine/Sarawat parts was getting a little silly.…
I think Tine realize that Sarawat has feelings for him and that he feel something for Sarawat as well. The bar scene helped Tine realize he feels more than he should about Sarawat, hence the jealousy. However, realizing he might have feelings for Sarawat and actually acting on that feeling is two very different thing. That is why he pretended not to remember the jealousy comment the next day. I think he is taking his friend's advice: "Love is not easy to prove like in dramas, It's a lot more complicated than that. Sometimes you need to take it slow and let time tell you".
Anyway, the timing of the statement release is a pretty small thing in the grand scheme of things anyway.
