The Unclouded Soul Episode 14

Episode 14 definitely caught my interest. Although the cooking contest was kinda cute, I wondered if that was all there is to their trials... (that would be disappointing X'3) Xiao Yao is slowly becoming mature as she faces the true nature of those blinded by greed, arrogance . . . , and one's insecurities. All these young women come from noble families, who only know how to order around other people while staying poised and ladylike. Their arrogant personalities know no bounds, which became apparent when their beautiful masks are torn down when faced with a dog-eat-dog situation; except for a few who still have sincerity. On the other hand, Da Li's insecurities got the better of her..., to the point of betraying her former best friend, Xiao Yao. Where did things went wrong? How could this happen? It hurts... Da Li's betrayal towards Xiao Yao and their friendship was so deep, as if I were the friend who got backstabbed.. The Flower demon felt overshadowed by the person she always looked up to, and cared for. Da Li's desperation for survival borne feelings of self-doubts, which sprouted into jealously towards Xiao Yao who could overcome any obstacle that comes her way... Will their friendship end right here? Or will Da Li come back to her senses?

Hong Ye, although as an illusion, helping out our A'Yao during the cooking competition was the most adorable moment~ He felt more alive than ever. Demon King Hong Ye looks majestic, but him in human form is extremely stunning as well! I've missed that sweet smile and playful attitude; Xiao Yao also misses him dearly... So, Hong Ye. . . , hang in there! (˶˃⤙˂˶)

I had to skip those gruesome parts of the bloody massacre that wiped out the whole intelligence network that worked in the shadows. My heart couldn't take it.. It broke me to watch Ying Ying mourning for her people, her subordinates.., her found family. (╥﹏╥)

Tae Poong would always help this friend in need no matter what situation he's in, and his friend never forgot his kindness in return.P.S. Our Beom is just too adorable!!!! (˶ > ₃ < ˶)

Love on the Turquoise Land Episode 1

The drama opened with a splendid start without beating around the bush. It introduces us to the feared 'Mountain Fiend' which is unknown entity to most of the people; a spooky, gory zombie-like being that terrorizes people when you least expect it. It blends well among the living, so be careful folks! Who knows? They might just be . . . RIGHT behind you~ (≖⩊≖)

"That was his way of telling me not to hate myself.. Letting him go was the right choice... It was Fang Zhou who had saved me once again..." Tang Li Ci has finally come to terms with his obsession towards his former mentor, senior brother and family. It is then that our male lead becomes a more powerful being than he was, and is fully in control of himself and over his decisions. Additionally, we finally get to know the actual hidden powers behind that urged Liu Yan onto the wrongful path. (I was right about this. Liu Yan seemed like the ultimate villain from what they showed us in the initial episodes, but his actions and thought process always hinted that he had someone controlling him, making him a human puppet and the mastermind's face. His hatred and anger are real, but his intentions got twisted more than it originally was after Gui Mu Dan's interference.

Episode 20 gave me a glimmer of hope for Mister Tang 'Huli', especially with his duel against Master Puzhu. The chosen location for their duel was the remarkable Qingyang Realm, also known as The Peak of Heaven, which all members of the Sword Alliance consider to be of great importance. The fight between these two powerful beings was so captivating that I couldn't take my eyes off the screen—I even watched it on repeat, lol! Among all the fight scenes I've seen so far in this drama, I would rank this one as one of my top favourites! The background music made the scene all the more alive~ Love it! X3 ADDITIONALLY, another favourite scene has to be the one where Chi Yun and Shen Lang Hun were having a conversation about Sword Alliance's leader, Master Shao's, crane, and Xue Xian Zi popped out of nowhere, thinking how it's a shame that the crane can't be cooked whole in just one pot. LOL He's SO FUNNY, I can't!!! 🤣🤣🤣

The Peach Blossom Village our main leads arrived in looks like a utopia for both humans and demons that came straight out of a fairy tale. As lively and peaceful the village is, it seems to be hiding something extremely dangerous. Was it the doing of QingLi, the butterfly demon and Zhang Qi's wife? Or is there more to the story? We'll soon find out... Most importantly, it's adorable how Qing Tong indirectly 'confessed' to her young master, while Fu Gui just quietly listened to her.. How endearing can they be? They're just like soft cotton candy~

Among all the events that happened in Episode 5, what impressed me the most was Gui'er giving a name to his "xiǎo zhī zhū". ‧₊˚🕸‧₊˚ As simple as it seems, the act of granting a name to someone can be considered as one of the most heartfelt and precious ways of showing recognition and respect. Our little spider begged her saviour to let her stay by his side forever, but due to his uncertain destiny, Gui'er seemed reluctant to keep her by his side, lest she'd feel like a caged animal trapped in that 'Cold Pool' like him. Hence, he offered to give her a name instead, as if to create an invisible yet strong bond between them. I see that as their first step of deeply intertwining their fates, an unbreakable bond~ Being an emotionless "Soldier" who's obliged to purge demons, this is such an endearing act. Naming doesn't just get done casually; it comes from the heart, which implies Fu Gui's deep sincerity, recognition and how much he values this girl. In turn, Qing Tong's admiration for her beloved young master is as boundless as the sea. We could see that her feelings for him are not just limited to gratefulness, but also loyalty, respect, empathy, . . . and love~

The episode featured Su Mu Yu's nostalgic memories, filled with happy moments. Although the poison inside his body caused him some harm, it wasn’t deadly. In contrast, it provided him with a brief opportunity to "reunite" with his father and reminisce about his past experiences during the New Year Festival with Chang He. These heartwarming moments made me empathise with the characters. However, these were merely illusions and dreams brought on by the "Drunken Dream Bone." In reality, Chang He was devising a plan to rescue Mu Yu, who had been captured.

First met at the Cold Pool as kids, the two cousins formed a deep bond through their tough past experiences. Two lonely children who yearned for love and care from their fathers, but were betrayed. Quan Ru Mu is a playful but sensible person who really looks up to his older cousin, Wangquan Fu Gui, whereas the latter is a caring older brother who would look out for his younger friend-like-sibling, whatever the situation. Their brotherhood is truly beautiful, and I love how Ru Mu would always tease our calm and stoic Gui'er, especially revolving around his and Qing Tong's ambiguous relationship~ Yet he's quick to pick up the cues after just a few meetings!! It's just his instincts or maybe our soon-to-be couple just gives off the "spring has come🌸" vibes, lol! He's already calling her "sister-in-law", kyahh! ໒꒰⸝⸝>♡︎<⸝⸝꒱ა Luv ya, Ru Mu! You're the first shipper (in the story) of our Gui'er and Tong Tong! We now give you the leader role of our beloved couple's fandom! ⸜(。 ˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡✨ Hope you stay the way you are~ Please don't turn on us and Fu Gui whatever the circumstances!!!

I can't put it into words about how much I love and want to protect this lovely couple! Ohh, my heart~ ( ∩´͈ ᐜ `͈∩) Fu Gui doesn't really show much of his emotions, but we can see him smiling subtly whenever Qing Tong's nearby. Her presence alone makes him feel at ease. The same goes for Qing Tong. The ultimate loyalty towards her young master knows no bounds; he was her saviour, and most likely to be her first love (just my opinion) after all~ I was really moved by their concern for each other. Our little spider cares about every little detail and hidden wishes of Fu Gui, while the latter appreciates every moment of his time with the little demon he saved; AND is super protective of her. Don't you dare say anything to ridicule her in the slightest or else you face hell from the Wangquan heir! XD Kyahh!! I love them! He is gradually opening his heart to Qing Tong as we watch on and I'm rooting for them from the bottom of my heart~ May happiness find you both, till the end.. ଘ(˵╹-╹)━☆ These are some of the scenes which made me swoon like a little girl in love~ https://kisskh.at/profile/Mizuhira-san/feeds/NdkNbBUZ

Episode 3 really made me emotional with the heartfelt conversation between A-Shui and Jiang Fei Yu (Yanmen sect's leader). A certain father who lost his son, but doesn't know who exactly was behind his child's de@th, and a daughter who recently lost her father, and had decided to wed an older man to cover funeral expenses. "Have you ever lost a son? If not, you wouldn't understand.." These words really struck me. Not any person can truly empathise with another if one has never experienced the pain. He isn't entirely wrong. No matter how much empathy one gives to someone who's grieving a loss, they can never fully understand the extent to which the concerned person is going through... May you rest in peace, Jiang Cheng... You will never be forgotten, and live on in the hearts of your dear father, your sect members, and also in our hearts...
