Nooo, not the cliffhanger! I've always thought certain people in the Qin family have hidden agendas, and now my doubts have been confirmed. That man is delusional, too. Does he think he's doing the right thing by lending a hand in the criminal acts!?On the other hand, our girl Wan'er is not to be overlooked just because she has a pretty face. She's got the guts to pierce that huge needle to throw up a confession (yes, she's skilled with needles, and in that scene, she deliberately made him feel the pain).

Our young marshal is so madly in love without even realising it himself. Qin Wan lowered her guard around him a little due to his request, and that alone made him the happiest person alive. ๐๐๐ I can almost imagine him shouting, "HELL YESS! SHE FINALLY STOPPED BEING FORMAL WITH ME! (โ โโ โกโ โโ โกโ )โ ~โ โช "

The drama gets more interesting as it goes. There's only one thing I'd like to point out, which is the editing in this episode. It's a bit - I dunno - needs better editing...

I really like how the story panned out, and the way the male lead and female lead are portrayed. The female lead doesn't beat around the bush and has a straight-forward personality, but doesn't charge forward without a thorough plan in the name of justice. (or whatever a FL is expected to do). Whereas, the male lead is a reliable person who sticks to his rules and obligations, but also has an open mind and kind heart. Plus, they're both smart.

They made a brilliant opening to this episode with the sound of the clock ticking BACKWARDS; even the rhythm becomes music if you listen attentively. No wonder they showed us the time of the events in the previous episode when everything escalated towards the old-man scriptwriter's original ending. I think that butterfly is the real scriptwriter's consciousness that's trying to stop the transmigrated one.And there goes another box of tissues... :') *sniff*

I instinctively knew he was carrying out that proposal on purpose. He already know Yi Ting's feelings towards Shangguan He and vice-versa, and has already let go of her. Poor guy had to go through this ordeal just because his uncle asked him to. Such a pure soul. :'/

Song Yi Meng has unlocked yet another personality, a tsundere, who says all kinds of harsh words and acts repulsive towards the other party (Nan Heng), but in reality cares a lot for that person~ She's changed now. She said in a fit of anger, "Until I calm down, don't let me see your face!" That's a classic line the girlfriend would say during a couple fight X3.

It was so heart-warming to watch all the Song family members having a meal together~ ^^ I'm so happy to see a happy family like this in historical dramas, and more so because, YiMeng is living with a stepmother and half-sister. Most C-drama family dynamics are too exhausting to watch cuz the women in the harem are fighting each other :').

The last scene when the Wanning River Crescent members all gathered to save Shangguan He was so exhilarating! I LOVE THESE!!! Even minor extra characters make me feel attached to them~

This is a total mess lol. Song sisters falling for the same persona, Li Shi Liu. And I think from their last conversation in the woods, Yi Ting knows instinctively that 'LiShiLiu' (who is the disguised Shangguan He) likes her too. To make matters worse, both sisters think the person they're referring to is the same (i.e., SYM thinks her younger sis is in love with NH, which is why she's preventing things from escalating; while SYT thinks her sis knows she is secretly meeting with 'LSL' )... What's funny is that their love interests are drinking away their sorrows together after the mess they made X"D
