I'm literally one ep into this drama, but tell me why Hua Yong is the PERFECT omega casting!??? Lmao they couldn't have chosen someone that looks gives off delicate and fragile vibes better. xDDDD
He reminds me of every ABO Omega MC that I've ever read in a manga.

I feel bad for the other actors in this picture, but the belated release of this drama feels really icky to me. No one wanted to touch poor KSR with a ten foot long pole back when she was alive and "problematic" but now... 4 years later. *sighs* this reeks of a money grab and pushing on publicity of this being her last ever project to squeeze every. last. drop. of money they can get out of the poor girl. It's heartbreaking honestly that she can't be allowed to just rest in peace without even MORE people trying to profit off of her...

Rewatching after yearssss and boy does this drama hold up! I swear I've been watching the last few eps through perma-red teary eyes :'(

I've seen MULTIPLE comments about the visuals in the leads not matching up for a romantic pairing.
As for your second point on the romance being weak in a romcom (especially in the first half) now that's something of note! Thanks for the heads up, I'll avoid! :)

I seriously hope that this drama will still be able to air without being butchered to oblivion as CJW's character was a vital part of S1.

The abuse scenes are quite graphic. So definite trigger warnings if that could be upsetting for you.

This BETTER get a S2!!! I typically have an easy time separating my crime drama viewings with my romances ones buuuut never in my life had I rooted for a couple to turn into lovers more…. Ughhhhh

Hard disagree with literally every other commenter below my message. This was a “Action- Thriller” that felt like it wouldn’t end. I don’t typically drop movies but I finally gave up on this trainwreck (pun intended) with 30 min to go. Don’t recommend.
Also, the bombers reasoning for their crime was such an eyeroll inducing massive stretch that it felt ridiculous.

Ep 14 she finds out about his lies/him knowing about her lies. Ep 15 reconciling fails so she moves out. They separate with the intent to divorce, but no divorce occurs.

Now THIS is something that I can get behind! Two infamous villainous actors playing morally grey villains that will fall in love?!? And one's a Chaebol?! All the way YESSSSS!

Randomly, Lee Joon Gi (Flower of Evil & Scarlet Heart Ryeo) came to mind. He gives off the same crafty, stern, and mature vibes as WC.
Maybe even a reunion drama between him and IU?!
You know what... the more I think about it the more perfect that sounds!!!

Oh, I completely get what you mean! It's far from a perfect show, I just finished it yesterday and gave it a 7/10 as I shared your sentiments almost to the T.
I will say, however, that the ending made up for some of the draggy parts in the middle- I won't go into specifics because you're still one episode shy of finishing.
It was fine. Not spectacular. And imo nowhere near worth the crazy hype that it got. LCM (the ML) was a surprisingly good actor though! As he wasn't on my radar at all until this show.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this drama, that seems to be the general consensus. Agreed about the romance too, I only have the last ep to go but it's clear that they fed up crumbs on a show where they feast, lol.
