UGHHHHHH FOMO IS KILLLING ME!!!!! 😫 😫 😫 I want to start this drama so bad, but I don't want to wait inbetween weeks for episodes. Ugh. Must. Hold. Out. Until June 20 so that I can binge.
6/12 ; Dropped. Well, enjoyed it so far but I no longer want to watch. Weird for a ' enjoyed ' one. But yeah !
I'm in your EXACT situation! I'm on ep 6 and just not feeling it. It's not inherently BAD but it's not exactly good either. So I think that I'll be dropping as well. 🤷♀️
Ohhh yeah! Yang Zi's dramas are usually a hit for me as well. I typically hold off for a show to finish just in case the writer decides to nuke the story. So we'll see! *fingers crossed*
His eyebrows and makeup. Had so much trouble getting past them. His face coloring didn't match his ears, throat,…
About the wonky eyebrows & mismatched makeup: it was TRULY awful, but I kinda just got used to it, haha. Didn’t know about the ML’s sister irl marriage!
I still get anxious when I think how they are going to adapt such a long story from novel to just 10 episodes…
I'm a little concerned about the 10 episode length as well. There's a lot that goes on between the FL and her first husband. Emperor & Trashta (lol). Then FL & Heinrey. I hope they do the original webtoon justice. Hell, even make it better! Especially the character of Rashta, she's the worst but she's also the product of abuse and only being treated a certain way due to her looks. I don't doubt that LSY will do a fine job with her as she's a great actress, but I hope the story will give the appropriate level of diving into her story/background/mindworkings.
#6 Eight Hundred, (thriller, f. Xu Kai) #7 Fate Chooses You (xianxia f. Ren Jialun), #8 Light To The Night (thriller,…
Thanks for such a thorough comment! I'll address each individually: 1) As for the first few you mentioned (Eight Hundred, Fate Chooses You, & Light to the Night) I leave currently airing dramas on purpose and then remove after they finished airing. Hence, the "Currently Airing" comment right next to each of these.
2) Added a note of RUMORED next to Mo Li & Overdo. (thanks!)
3) Added Zhan Zhao!
4) As for Immortality, Golden Hairpin, and Winner is King... I am aware that those 3 most likely won't be seeing the light of day but one can hope you know? (Especially, for The Golden Hairpin post-reshoots!)
I can't tell from the title, but is this the story of the younger village kid that see's the ML on a video in her classroom and decides to study hard and transfer to his school to be with him??? There was a whole arc where it was revealed that she's actually the misplaced kid of a rich family and should've been the ML's friend since childhood. (lowkey this might've been a BL, but the title was something similar Chasing the Moon?? Loving the Moon?? etc.) The summary was vague enough that I can't be too sure if this is THAT story. (I'm still not sure that it wasn't a BL that I read with a similar-ish concept, lol.)
This is the first time that I've genuinely felt that someone was robbed. I ended up dropping the drama, but even I can attest that her performance was incredible!!! Such a shame...
Look, I'll speak for myself, it's visually refreshing, the OST is wonderful, the drama has a supernatural vibe,…
CDrama OST's typically are well done but still good to hear that this one is wonderful! Happy to hear that you like the story and you made me VERY curious about Ep 8 in particular. Was that a much beloved ep among the viewers??
Very good story and best cast. You get epic scenes very few eps.
Good to know! I've actually read the book that this drama is based off (a couple yrs back) and remembering enjoying it. With Dilraba as the FL it's obvious that it'll be a no expense spared kinda show, yet epic scenes are always a plus! :)
