They did cut her scenes and gave her a weird sending off mid-way through the drama that didn't make a lot of sense,…
I used the term female lead loosely, lol. I have no idea if she was a support role just for that "mission" or if she'll stick around as the two guys' female counterpart in S2 as well. Either way, same here I had hearts shooting out my eyes alongside her arrows. xD
If you are looking for a love story/regular C-drama love story you'll be disappointed..This is a realistic story…
I don't mind that romance isn't at the forefront of the show. I just wanted to see if that's something worth sticking around for because the slave to saleswoman plot wasn't really striking my fancy.
I think so. Episodes 10-20 is where the romance arc really builds and a lot happens here. The chemistry is great…
Appreciate your response, obviously it appears the appeal of this show differs somewhat for me than you. I wanted to continue since I liked the leads (actor-wise) but was unsure due to pacing. As you said, I'll give it a couple more eps to hopefully pick up the pace, especially considering what you mentioned about the romance!
It doesn't get much faster than that. A story of self empowerment and creativity which fizzles out and suffers…
Wow, well that's quite the opinion. I wasn't 100% on the show either but was willing to continue due to typically liking a Rosy or LYN drama. Thanks. :)
In my opinion, all rom-coms would be better as a movie!Seriously though, how do people have the patience to watch…
Hey, nothing wrong with overgeneralizing because a majority of the time, it's true. That a drama relying exclusively on being a rom-com tends to loose steam and/or peter out completely when it's lengthy rather than a simple 2 hr movie. Having said that, you kinda need to go in with a certain mindset depending on how the shows are being promoted. Something like King the Land for instance, isn't going to be a cinematic masterpiece, it's a simple fluff piece show. Heavy on the cliches. Take it or leave it. Which based off your feelings about Goblin (agreed) and Korean Odyssey (haven't watched), I'd take it that you're a leave it kind of person, lol. (Nothing wrong with wanting more depth to the shows you watch!)

To some extent I see your point, but some stories have *something* there beyond just the leads falling for each other that can be expanded upon for 6, 10, or even 16 episodes. IMO this was not that story. It's a simple lovers separated and then reunited several years down the line without enough "meat" to make those 6 1-hour long episodes worthwhile. *shrugs*
Is it worth sticking around for the romance?
It’s all subjective.
