I laughed. I cried. I was happy but I was never sad watching this absolute beauty of a drama. To those who are doubting on watching this, let me tell you that you won't regret watching this drama but rather will want to re-watch it again and again, just for the pure smiles and interactions of every character. 13/10
I had always avoided Nagase Tomoya for some reason. But not after this. I never imagined it would be about Yakuza.…
you should check out Mukodono, Unubore Deka, Ore no Ie no Hanashi, Tiger and Dragon and a lot more of his dramas. His penchant for comedy is top class but is very versatile with dramas like Kurokouchi or Gomen, Aishiteru
Japan's rigid sense of "As you sow, So shall you reap" is something that i've grown to hate after watching this drama. They deserved a better ending, those 3. But what Ryuichi did to Onogi was what Kirishima did to their (foster-)parents. So you can't blame Onogi Kento too.
Furthermore, all 3 crucial sets of characters didn't get what they wanted the most at the time of their "death". Yoshie couple didn't get to see their sons inherit the company; Kirishima didn't get to be the top; and those 3 never got their last dinner. This is frustrating to say the least.
If Onogi Kento knew what his father was, maybe he wouldn't have taken that decision. Like how Tanuma met Oki by chance, if Tanuma met Kento, maybe he'd have got to know his father. The overwhelming amount of what ifs in this drama pains a lot. But this is justice after all. In it's most cruel form. Wonderful acting by everyone; special biased appreciation goes to Matsumoto Honoka.
This drama is the one you need to watch after watching some heavy drama. Made me laugh. Made me cry. Made me squeal. If you don't give this one a watch, you'll definitely cry.
This is my first time watching Jdrama, I watched alot of Kdrama's so I can't stop comparing them. The story is…
Idk man, seems an awful lot like you already had misconceptions about jdramas being similar to anime and all which is absolutely not true. If one had to argue, kdrama acting is far more unrealistic than jdramas so try not to be biased much.
