Okay since this is my binging ongoing shows phase, I just binged the first 6 episodes and here are my thoughts so far:
1. Why all the vandalism? Geez these guys are such a pain, they write on every surface they can find and let other people clean up after them. That's just rude... :( 2. I wish we went back and forth between the 2 universes to see how everything was changing for them in their own world as well. Especially since we have a popular couple on our hands in the original universe... 3. Nobody misses their world? Seriously not a single mention of missing their friends or family or struggling with the fact that the dream that they worked towards is now nonexistent. I get writers withdrawal really badly when I don't write. Hell I even read tarot cards and I miss the living hell out of that too as soon as I stopped selling my readings. Not even in the interview do they mention anything about it at all. Not to mention how dissociating it would be to see a different face in the mirror every day! Genuinely I would get so depressed forgetting what I actually look like at some point.. 4. Beer is so expensive and luxurious that the bar owner was surprised to see Talay order a beer let alone 2 beers... yet all they have been drinking is beers. Guess it ain't that special after all... 5. Lots of time passing, but nothing really advances? They don't even really seem to try to go back at all. Apart from very few group meetings 6. Why is no one buying into the fact that Talay might have amnesia? After 4 months you would think that people would be confused why he acts differently, doesn't seem to remember anything and literally doesn't understand how this universe works. Like all the things that are common sense there are completely alien to him.. yet no one mentions that he has been different.. like at all? 7. I like the idea of color names at the beginning of each episode but, I wish they gave it more meaning? Why is this episode associated with that color? In 'theory of love' the movies all had a specific reason for the theme of the episode as well as the words they learned in 'I told Sunset about you'. Where every episode there was a word that they wrote over and over again during their Chinese studies that magnified the emotion of the episode. 8. The only person we have seen struggling is the one that got back to there old life, but no one who got whisked away from their life seems to struggle at all.. I thought that in episode 6 this was going to change when Puen/Tun looked really down. He seemed to be sad that he couldn't even find any of the songs he used to know, but within seconds it became clear that they still didn't feel like addressing the psychology behind losing the world you know and waking up in a world so different from yours. No more going to your local coffee shop, seeing friends and family, listening to your favorite songs and watching your favorite movies. You completely stop living your own life as you are now trying to fit in with strangers that seem to have all these memories that don't belong to you in an unfamiliar place you never wanted to call home. Where you wake up with a different face and even falling for someone you know they would never recognize you if you were to go back to your own world. Hell some people won't even exist back home, so growing close to them is becoming an inevitable heart break. The main couple doesn't even seem to talk about their actual lives and memories, reminiscing over the things that are now perhaps forever lost. Remembering the people they were and what they went through in their old life. The moments that make them smile when they think back on the things they experienced with the ones they love. Nor do they confide in one another on a level where it is clear that they are the only ones that would understand each other. Every conversation they have is no different from the conversations they would have with people from the other universe. Showing that there is no distinction in behavior or deeper connection outside of a mutual attraction.
This show isn't bad perse, it's just not well developed.. I did go into this thinking it would be more like 'W two worlds' where it was more of a you and me against the world scenario. I don't mind that that's not the case,, if this was at least done right...
Sometimes you have those rare moments where you look at the comments expecting to dislike a show, but you binge it anyway... And maybe it's the right show at the right time but you can't help but fall in love with it :o
But then again this month seems to be my month of unpopular opinions xD I end up hating the shows people love and loving the shows people hate... what can i say, at least I'm consistent!

I watched 0 but I didn't really have any particular feeling towards it since it went kinda fast for my taste with little anticipation. I don't know, to me understanding Nine's background made me less annoyed with him apart from the fact that he forced Dao is certain situations. Otherwise he is kinda morally Grey. Candy is actually the one that mentioned how suicidal his gf was combined with the flash backs. So to me I understood it as him genuinely liking Dao after the resort in episode 0 but not being able to pursue due to his situation that made him feel trapped in an unhappy relationship. Not being able to leave her he sought out other men (which arguably could have been to substitute his desire for Dao since it's quite interesting that he went for men when he obviously also has an Attraction to women) And with the delegating things, yeah I mean the flashback was mostly there to indicate that it never was meant to be Tee. It wasn't necessarily an indication of Nine having a liking towards Dao before the resort I think? I'm not sure.
This makes me think this show definitely is one of those shows where you get some background story thrown in there and you just have to figure out what that could mean. Lots of speculating needed on our part :/

PS: From what I gathered, Nine never knew what Dao looked like. It seems like he was kind of this anonymous school buddy that was probably an organized thing by the school itself. Nine rarely showed up for school projects as well so Tee took over most of the responsibilities, which resulted into him meeting Dao for whatever reason or appointment they had when he met Dao for the first time. (By this point it seems like Nine had already been giving things or communicating to some degree with Dao but they never saw each other.) But when Nine asked about what he looked like Tee wanted to keep his appearance a 'secret' since he kinda liked Dao after that first meeting as to make sure that Nine wouldn't get interested in Dao as well. Also they did somewhat explain why Nine stayed with his gf. It was mostly due to emotional manipulation on her side since she threatened to harm herself if he left her. It's the whole reason why he was so torn about wanting to be with Dao but being really cold towards his girlfriend whom he already wanted to break up with prior to getting back together.
Idk the debate is open on whether that makes things better or not, but it gives his behavior some reasoning for if you missed those interactions :)

I don't know what other shows are like but in bl's they seem oblivious to the fact that that is harassment and yes even guys can get harrased and sexually assaulted smh I mean I wouldn't date a guy that had his name tatted all over his body, but you mean you're trying to FORCE me into being your side bitch? Kudos to the guy for trying to keep the convo going but my dude, it ain't gonna happen and he won't tell you. Like I said, he may not be a bad guy... But he is one hell of a nuisance to date 🙊
This week's episode was just your regular fluff episode. But it has taught me that people will hate when they feel like it 🤷🏽♀️ I've seen this episode done so many times. None better than the other, but if the show is hyped up enough people will eat that shit up like they've been starving for months. So probably watch this show when the hate hype is over to see if you actually like it or not. To me this is kinda average, but I've liked it more than some of the most loved shows out there. There is cringe and unnecessary drama as well as barely anything happening the first half of the show. But honestly if you cut the first half out and this was where we started (from ep 7 forward) people would have most likely had a different attitude towards this show.
Soooo... this is not a show. It's basically kissing shorts. You get a few sentences leading up to the 3 minute kissing montage. Most of them straight for the ones that were here for the bl content. I don't know watch episode 4 i guess, although like i said this is not a show, it's basically kissing p**n lololol
Edit: oh and since it's not dialogue heavy, you won't miss out on much if you can't find subs

It definitely was a little underwhelming. Maybe because there was just no depth to any of the relationships other than Park and Lee? But even their scene just left me wanting more when Lee barely said a word this episode. I'm not even sure how we got to the end conclusion of the last few minutes... lol. Like wow that just went from 0 to 100 in 1 episode xD

Never seen Goblin before but this one’s ending is kinda happy but it sucks at the same time.
I saw a comment that made me think it was more of a reincarnation thing which sounds like an open ending like if in 'until we meet again' only had had the first episode and it ended right there and then as a cliff hanger before the rest of the show ever happened.
I've been really torn about watching this, since I'm not sure what kind of ending to expect.. (I can't handle sad endings lololol) Happy, sad, open, bittersweet or more like Goblin (korean drama) ? Although a comment I saw makes me feel like it might be most similar to Goblin?

It didn't just get boring, tedious and well.. kind of underdeveloped in basically all areas of what the story promises to be... Nope this show found the word 'plotholes' in the dictionary and decided to turn it into its own sport. I'm not even kidding, you need to be seriously self aware to throw another plothole into the mix in the last 5 minutes of the finale just for fun sake xD The worst part is that I HADN'T EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT IT YET. It just undid the whole reason for existence of this show into dust by literally saying, ah you know what, nowadays Imma just be my own bloodbag... WTFFFFFFF xD WHY DOES THIS EXISTTTT?? I was playing plothole bingo this entire time only to be hit by the uno reverse card at the last possible moment. They were like, yeah I know this show sucks and makes no logical sense nor will I give you a a plausible reason as to why I think it SHOULD make sense.. So instead I'm going to do you dirty one last time and fuck all the things we just been through together up by telling you, NONE OF THIS NEEDED TO EXIST... XD
