you perfectly described fl's return!! "A victim with an attitude"!It's baffling how much her plans fail!Ml…
Yes def wait, i think it finishes in a week. I just watched 17 eps in one go though i kept telling myself that every ep had to be last one i watched because i had stuff to do, but it was so addictive haha and the FL actually does what she needs to to get her revenge, unlike here. I hope you'll love it too when you get to binge it! Happy watching!

No literally! Don't think she even knows what her plan is tbh, like I started The Maid today and it's just night and day with this show yet both are mini dramas, kinda mad i already watched it before it's finished airing with how addictive it is
7 1/2 ep in and i am so confused with the purpose of the show that all i can do is just laugh. Like usually revenge plots are about the main lead being smart, sneaky and sharp in their attacks and traps. Meanwhile our FL seems to basically go back to the family to still fall victim to them but now with an attitude? I think? I'm not sure honestly hahaha And omg why is no one talking about the ML ? Why this man still ain't shit ?? lmao like okay FL is right about one thing, men aren't to be trusted, because you are telling me that after losing the love of his life that he swore up and down on heaven and hell that he would never desire to marry anyone but her, and that she is basically his everything and has a whole cry about; he realizes she is currently at his house ready for revenge, he vouches to hold the sky up for her if she tears it down.... yet is never anywhere to be found? Like he doesn't even have anyone properly guarding her while he is away from the home. He is always gone and only saves her when the damage is already partially done? Sir... you lost her once, then promised on everything you have you would protect her and now you just let her play stupid in a house full of wolves by herself? Ya'll can't tell me this isn't kinda funny. like what is the purpose of this show? 10/10 would recommend to just move on and live your life somewhere peaceful girl. Throw that whole family away, ain't no way that after what she had to endure even just the first time around i would still want to be with that man. Who not only failed to protect you against his fam once, but every opportunity life threw at him. Though don't know what the rest of the show is like. But not everyone is born for revenge evidently, sometimes you just gotta let karma do its thing. honestly funny thought, but i think if she just fully disappeared, never came back and had him find out the whole story of what happened to her but thinking she did actually die, he would have probably reeked so much more havoc on her behalf. Like this man would have let no one see a sliver of daylight again if he is true to his word.
Also come to think of it, why does he not have a personal vendetta with them? Like he is fine with her wanting revenge, ofcourse, but why is he just kinda chilling by the sidelines so far and only punishes them when they try hurting her AGAIN. Like, you do know you don't have to wait for permission to fuck them up right? You can just start your own revenge plot. (Unless that's something that happens later on?) but he kinda chill with them atm. He is way too unbothered lmao even when he heard that he was needed at home because of the whole incense thing, he was so ... calm? At least when he was still wherever the fuck he was playing with his sword
I'm sorry but i just can't get over the fact that all he had to do was look at his old phone? You mean to tell me that his phone was charged and turned on for 3 years, but the only thing that kept him from seeing the photos was the fact that he didn't remember his password? as though people can't crack phones? dude wtfff I refuse to let this slide. All i keep wishing for is for him to regret this for the rest of his life and for her to move on to better things and grow stronger as a person. Cause let's be honest, he in fact is partially responsible for her dad's death. If we insinuate that he got sick in prison and that he died due to an overload of stress hearing how his daughter was treated by ML, than he 100% has fault in his death. So far it also seems like we have yet to be bothered enough to give the SFL any legal issues? Though she framed someone for kidnapping and later could arguably be partially to blame for his death too? At least where i am from you actually are legally obligated to call for help if someone is dying. I honestly don't understand why the SFL only gets a slap in the face and asked to never be seen again, when FL had to go through actual abuse and torture for years due to a lie. And all of this could have been avoided if he had looked at his phone sooner? Ain't no way you just told me that... there is simply no coming back from something like this as a person..
I'm surprised at how highly it's rated. I get it, the show has great cinematography, great acting, and sure even…
In the end I feel like they abruptly stopped the story just when it was about to begin. The whole show feels more like an introduction rather than the story itself to me. From a writers perspective and a viewers perspective I personally find that if your show doesn't tie up enough threads to function as a stand alone show/season, it just isn't a job well done. You can't get a job well done with an unfinished story, unless season 2 is already filmed and prepped to be released maybe with a max of 2-3 months in between like back when that was the norm for TV. Though for a lot of people it will still take time to really get back into the story and universe you created when there is a long pause in between.
I'm not sure if Season 2 is a guaranteed thing either, so this might be all we get for all we know.
Only 2 eps in, but it's kinda getting on my nerves how easily she forgot about her brother. Girl... to your knowledge he is poisoned, injured and alone in the mountains without water, food, shelter or medical care. And you have only mentioned him 1 time as a fleeting comment. Instead you are making yourself comfortable in a new city and happily enjoying their food. - . - I just won't buy it next time she seems attached to her brother, if you were going to forget about him like this you may as well just never have made a deal where in exchange for his life and the anti dote you would marry the Prince.
Tbh, if they hadn't told us she had a son I honestly would have never known. Only on ep 4 but why is she never talking about him nor trying to stay in contact with him? apart from 1 small scene, she doesn't even seem to miss him...?
So... fair warning, this show doesn't seem to have an ending? Also the summary is completely false and incorrect. She doesn't investigate what happened, nor does she talk to any servants that give her intel. If anything, we don't really see any servants talk to her at all in this mini show. So this is definitely NOT a who-done-it in a quest for the truth... which we never end up getting anyway. Oh and spoiler alert, she doesn't try to get revenge either. So I'm not sure what the summary is referring to lol Like, it starts a million different plots and not a single one is answered. there is no reveal to what happened, nor a reveal of her identity. Perhaps a 2nd season might be announced? But yeah, this was more like a prologue, we never really get into the story at all, with an abrupt ending as though we are only a quarter into the story yet supposedly that is all we get? Honestly we don't even know what happened to Lin Yan and why or how she body swapped. Strange writing for sure
I think they were just a couple of dumb kids who didn't know how to talk or express their emotions. One thing…
Well in case you haven't noticed, i never meant that it was a dumb reason to break up over. I was just pointing out that Achi is exhibiting avoidant behavior which is a valid reason to be upset over 10 years later. Granted I worded it hastily as I had only just finished the episode. But nonetheless thinking that his perspective was; I fell in love with my best friend, slept with him, he said let's forget about it and brought my dolls back to school - I should pretend i have a gf, throw away the dolls and leave the country. Is a really large reaction and saying it like this somehow makes me laugh at how 0 to 100 it is xD
If you love someone/are in love with someone, you have good banter and laughs, you can confide in them, feel safe/comfortable/respected/loved/cared for by them and the relationship feels equal, no body would break up/divorce over putting the laundry in the laundry basket. It's never 'just' that, there is always something so much deeper going on. So I would never call a reason to break up or divorce a stupid reason, since it was reason enough for that person to want to leave.
It was just exhausting seeing how valid Ji was for being upset at Achi, but have the show play it off as a simple misunderstanding that instantly gets them back together. Like I said, this too is so much deeper than just a 'oh, I thought you didn't like me like that so we went our separate ways'. I could have agreed with it if Achi never purposefully and cruelly left Ji the way he did. Not because of a break up even, but because they were at least supposed to be friends first and foremost. Even with the misunderstanding Ji was willing to show that their friendship was still the sole foundation of their connection and wouldn't let whatever he thought was going on, come between them. Even if they would only be 'just friends'. Which makes Achi popping up 10 years later all smiley and wanting to get together without as much as a proper apology and explanation feel so much more odd in hindsight. We didn't even know why Ji was upset, so seeing Achi be the way he was made it feel like it was something silly. Not to mention that it made it seem like they had been together before, they weren't. It was a one night stand between friends that never confessed their feelings. I personally think, knowing what happened, that it in fact wasn't silly at all. It would have been better if we saw Achi be a lot more regretful but have a hard time opening up about what happened (to keep the mystery going), instead of acting like it was all okay and Ji was just a bit sulky.
Omg nothing could have prepared me for the way we instantly just forgive and forget about what happened 10 yrs ago. I get that it's a 'misunderstanding' but honestly I can't even call it that anymore when Achi purposefully and consciously partially created that 'misunderstanding' by lying and moving abroad without a word. Nahh he didn't even try to preserve the friendship even if he was scared that Ji didn't want to be friends anymore. That's not even a misunderstanding anymore, that's just cowardice behavior and being an ass that genuinely hurt someone. He was being unnecessarily dramatic and brutal for a mere misunderstanding... Even without the misunderstanding of that night, his actions would be enough for me to stay away from him. Imagine being with someone who reacts like that, the moment they get scared of a rejection that never even came.
Have you finished the all series? Or do you want the answer regardless?
They didn't even tell everything, it was honestly worse. Achi actually tells Ji that he has a girlfriend and throws away their dolls in front of Ji to basically do a 'you can't fire me, I quit!' moment (Ji wasn't even trying to call quits on their friendship, Achi just misunderstood) and when Ji a while later comes over to Achi's house because he still cares and wants to be friends, he finds out that Achi left to the US without saying anything hence why they didn't speak for 10 years. In Ji's mind he probably had a crush on his friend, they slept together, his friend looked regretful and suddenly tells him he has a gf before throwing away their dolls and moving abroad without a word. It's an instant forgive and forget as soon as they figure it was a misunderstanding though.
Only on ep 6 so far, but is no one going to talk about how ml basically hired a potential rapist (because let's be honest, what else was she trying to do after convincing him to drink the drugged champagne?)and made the fl work under her? When the fl is the one that accidentally ended up taking the drug and got physical in a way she didn't even consent to ....(regardless of the ml trying to get her off of him. Neither one of them consented to it so they both have the right to feel assaulted.)
And he pretends he is on some moral high ground smh he is such a contradicting ass to fl because of his own biases...
The Second lead couple was an absolute trainwreck and their ending was so... strange to say the least. Like wtf…
Oh yeah and there are lots of plotholes, at least it kept me kinda entertained until ep 20. I skimmed through the rest cause I couldn't be bothered with what happened in the last 4 eps. Genuinely disappointed with the whole lets introduce another 'potential rival' and the awful second lead storyline
The Second lead couple was an absolute trainwreck and their ending was so... strange to say the least. Like wtf even was that? Why? I've never seen a relationship more exhausting than theirs and I highly doubt either one ended up being happy.
