I would say you can, the only mindfuck might be the random scenes of Dean and Pharm. They tried to put their scenes in this one to make it look like the stories are happening simultaneously. But they give you ZERO context lol. So it just ends up being odd and unnecessary for those who don't even know their story. (flashbacks of their past lives and pharm randomly crying, if you watched some of UWMA you might get it, but otherwise it's such a strange scene xD)

Also let's not forget how people always complain about Thai bl's dragging things out. You'll see the comments saying that it could have been done in under 8 eps and it usually already has more budget than K bl's to expend. I actually like them short and sweet, it switches things up for me. Although I would love to head towards a time where S Korea will have long full blown shows with lots of plot driven stories. Which would be less about the bl industry and more about the social diversity, budget and acceptance to have regular shows that so happen to have a 'queer lead'. The market is just a lot smaller there so without international fans cheering these shows on it might be a while before we can get there. Not to mention that Thailand has had to romanticize the idea of fan service to even make it into what it is today. And I'm sure lots of people have their opinion about whether fan service and ships are even healthy..

tbh agreed, unfortunately I choose to watch it as it came out which altered the experience. But for how low this scored, there has been much much worse than this show. I even saw people hate on things that they praise in other shows, can't make people happy I guess

Okay.. I liked it, don't get me wrong. It was well made and looked really pleasing, all the characters were likeable and the actors did a good job. HOWEVER I don't know how to feel xD I related a little too hard with the aspect of mourning your pets and the regret, guilt and love you feel towards them. Which made me super duper aware of the fact that I was looking at both a cat and a dog as love interest for humans.
Mind you I grew up watching this really popular movie in my country of a cat turning human and falling in love with a journalist. But somehow I couldn't help but look at this with too many questions and trying not overthink the semantics of the storyline xD I mean I'm even tiptoeing around it now since we all know what word would normally be questioned in this situation. Anyway, it was a bit of fun and an easy watch apart from the discomfort I felt watching humans make out with animals personified xD (had this been just about humans, I wouldn't have a single complaint)

I can already tell that I'll rewatch this entire show once it's finished. I definitely have a soft spot for it, I just HOPE they keep it up because other shows have given me trust issues xD

tbf this is a compilation of 4 stories. And when people rate it as a whole, one or more stories can drag the ratings down. I personally really liked the first story, but dropped both 2 and 3.
It makes this one of the rare shows that I purposefully choose not to rate for that reason

I never ended up watching the last episode, so here I am weeks later skipping through it to see Prince and his boo. One thing that will never be resolved in this show however is why the hell they needed so many damn brothers! What purpose did they serve? No clue. But oh well, alas the Fahlanruk Saga of unfortunate decision making that kept me coming back has ended now.
On another note, am I the only one going through a BL drought? None of the shows are really doing it for me atm. And I'm waiting on a few of them to fully finish airing.
I went from binging 3 shows a week to not watching even a single bl episode for almost a month.

By the time this show is finished and I can finally start binging it I'll have celebrated 3 more holidays, 2 birthdays, thrown a baby shower and have officially become an aunt. Now why does that make this sound like decades will pass before I get to see this xD My patience has reached new heights this year with all the bl's I've resisted watching until they were fully aired.

tbh it has so many plottwists so I can't give away too much. But it definitely isn't turned into a big deal later down the line. (like at first it is a big deal when it's revealed, but later down the line it isn't for a very specific reason) that reason also makes me pretty sure he was aware of what was happening but don't quote me on that.

1- Pan and Nott are a shipped couple, but the competition is a heavy burden. Pan wants to be number 1 but what does it truly mean to be number 1? Especially when lines get blurred between Pan and Nott and professionalism and pleasure start to mix with real emotions.
2- Gus and Bew have been a new ship. Still trying to make it in the industry the two grow closer together as their agents team up. This one has a LOT of plot twists, very heavy on the who done it because a lot of drama start to stir up their social media presence and potentially impact their careers for better or worse.
3- Peak and Kla knew each other before but are now signed to the management duo of the second story. This one is mostly about trying to win in a popularity contest that is being filmed and aired as they are fighting for the title of the newest Y-Idol. Not as much romance in this one tbh it is mostly about Peak and his journey throughout the contest. An inner journey and outer journey.

I did say it was just a rant to release pent up energy and to not mind me >.< Which is the main reason why I put it under spoiler to also not take up the whole comment section. It wasn't meant as anything negative, sometimes we just need a place to shake it all off. I also feel like there is a big difference between complaining about a character versus not understanding why the character is written in the way they are. For me it was the latter. But like you said you didn't read the whole thing.
Sidenote: It's kinda ironic to say she wouldn't hurt a fly when she went over to his house with a hammer and actively commits fraud.. (Pretending to be his fiance to police officers to escape attempted murder charges and making Go Jin spend thousands and thousands of dollars on her by using the same lie of being his fiance is a felony)
show don't tell is kinda the problem here. If you tell she is kind then show it, but all her actions go against that statement
One of my favorite revenge stories is Birth of a Beauty because we empathize with her. We understand the level of humiliation and hurt that was inflicted on a genuinely kind and cheerful person who was timid in her own way, but her kindness still shined in all those flashbacks

The reason why Shin A frustrates me so so much is because we never even got to know what kind of person she was. How am I suppose to root for her in getting revenge when I don't care about her? Hell she could be an awful person and I wouldn't even know. Yes they show that she is timid in the workplace, but that doesn't make you a good/nice person, so why should I care for this random ass morally gray person to get her revenge? Secondly, as soon as she got her diagnoses she seems to physically be cured of all ailments. The headaches are gone, no other symptoms are showing. Instead she is living her best life running around town to spend Go Jin's money and getting shitfaced at an office dinner feeling perfectly fine the next day. This girl is healthier than me and somehow that me feel kinda strange. I know that they have to somehow cure her disease away if she's alive by the end of this show which annoys me even more, cause yeah she doesn't look sick or feels sick in the slightest apparently. Next up is that if she was a well liked person, why did I genuinely think he dad was dead until a few episodes in? She doesn't really talk to her friend, her brother or her dad unless it is a plot device. None of the people surrounding her are part of her character building and only serve as part of the story progression. We are reminded from time to time that she is sick by the sad phone call to her dad or the hysteria at the convenience store. But without that I would genuinely forget why she was doing all of this. Her reason even lacking in conviction. She is enraged by the belief that Go Jin's treatment of her is the cause of her terminal disease. (Also one of the weird anti- Go jin fans/ ex- secretaries, purposefully messes up the order to anger Go Jin and have Shin A resign. As well as one of the female instructors shifting blame on her for their mistake. Everyone is out there actively making her job harder and trying to get her to resign as well. But Go Jin is the only bad guy here, when literally no one seems to give a f*ck about her) But with how many times we have seen her get to a point of wanting to quit it never gives me the feeling that this job is that big of a deal? I mean yes we get to hear that she dreams of being an instructor at GOTOP, but sweetie, being an instructor doesn't mean he is going to be nice to you? So regardless of the treatment, she herself romanticizes the idea of working for the company. She also isn't shown to be in a need for financially or career related security where this is the only job opportunity she has and she just needs to make it work for another reason other than it being her dream job. They haven't even said that she couldn't be an instructor at any of the other top schools. Nor did they show her to be a well qualified instructor to begin with or at least someone who practices becoming a better instructor. So why am I here wondering if she should even have that job, when that's the whole reason she stayed and why this story even exists? The fact that it almost feels like they told us she deliberately stayed at her job because she choose to do so makes me lose a chunk of my empathy towards her and her reasoning for revenge in the way she seeks it. I have always been a firm believer that in most cases whatever you decide to do speaks on whom you are as a person and not who others are to have provoked you. Therefore seeing her take advantage of someone who is in her eyes at their most vulnerable is just gross. After trying to potentially kill him and not to mention the guilt of feeling like you are the reason they got run over. (and nearly died) But him forgetting that she stood up for herself is enough to make her want revenge. It's not even like she is actively trying to make him remember all the things he did to her so she can feel a level of satisfaction. No she is doing all this just to project all her frustration onto him in some of the weirdest ways possible. If someone mentally tormented me I wouldn't get revenge by giving the people who stood by and did nothing or even tried to provoke his anger towards me by giving them extra time off of work and expensive dinners? Don't forget that she had those symptoms for a year and never got a check up? It doesn't even seem like she can't go to the hospital or that her work guilt trips her for not being there when she eventually goes. This just tells me she could have gone at any time and that it's on her for not taking care of herself. Which is a harsh thing to say, but a lesson I had to learn myself as well. Tbh the fact that none of the other employees seem to care about her, not even the cleaning service is weird to me. Not because she should be close to them, but because there hasn't been a single character in this show to vouch for her and let us know that someone even likes her as a human being. Not even her friend is that close with her tbh. They are more like roommates that get along than actually best friends. But like I said from what the show portrays her to be she is extremely morally gray as I can't help but remember every 5 seconds that what she is doing could be prosecuted as fraud.

Wondering if I should continue this or not half way through ep 6...
