I feel totally opposite about Yu Ran. To me her acting is below mediocre. Also it doesn't help that her character…
Exhibit no. 3 - when yuran said that with every passing day that Asule haven't gained his memories back, they wouldn't be able to stop worrying. Yet, she just looks damn right annoyed rather than worried. Other then here and there, her chemistry with Asule was really great. I don't know if its intentional on Haoran's side, but with the way he portrayed his chemistry with the 3 love interests, it seems Asule have only ever truly loved Yuran. Which i guess, in a way, is keeping true to the books. With the princess, there seem to be only deep care of a friend that turned into a desire to take responsibility for her welfare as she have lost and done so much to try to save him. With Suma, it is just childhood friends, small crush and regret.
Also “Dust Bloom in The Flower” No series for him.
I heard that the director, Chen Kaige, have won awards for the films he made about Old Beijing. I can't wait because apparently the director is going back to his roots for this film!
I realise in this drama, everyone have their own greed/intentions. Even those who you think are heroes, end up been slightly antihero because sometimes they're driven by their own personal gain. Only asule doesn't seem to get driven by this
Right. Let’s get the story back to Azule. Basically, this whole series Azule more of an observer than a participant.…
And we hardly got introduced to the main players of the fight in the grasslands. I don't get what the author was thinking. Asule goes back to his hometown around half-point of the books, why did he decide to change that in the scripts? R they trying to save cost or something, because that's a major part of the plot line. Not going to lie, I was really looking forward to Asule going back to his home country because so much of his storyline happens there *flips table
After asule came back to life there's actually a lot of couple scenes, especially when they went to hide in the village. But yea, the final stretch will be about fighting for the throne
Seems like even after next week's 8 episodes, we might not be able to see Asule back in the grasslands because there's too many grounds to cover in terms of yuran and other characters' storylines... this plotline feels like an exponential curve. it keeps getting bigger and bigger but I don't see how they'll do it justice in just a few more episodes. still rooting for it though
You will see Asule as he head back home ALONE for the Game of Thrones. (the opening and ending pretty much stated…
Does yuran die before asule goes back or after asule goes back? This is so sad because yuran, jiyie and the princess all said they want to head back to the grasslands with asule but we all know that this is never going to happen :(
i know right. I guess they were going for he was going to help but the kids were 1 step ahead and came and kept stabbing the guy so he went into zombie mode when he saw the blood
episode 38 and asule is still not back in the grasslands...and probably won't be back until next wk..are they pulling a part 1 and 2 like noble aspirations because i don't mind (AKA pls pull a part 1 and 2 like noble aspirations)
He was about to stab the guy but the 2 kids who tried to killed asule in the streets before came and stab the guy and saved the princess. He had a flashback of him killing a lot of people and his sister about to get raped and just cowered in the corner when he saw the blood
that old man from tianqu...he moved from supporting one heir to the next. One is too saint-like and the other don't want to rebuild some lost kingdom. All he wanted to do was things that will help the realm but the kids won't listen lol. kinda feel sorry for him
In 36 ep YR and JY kiss again in the river ...i think the main men lead didn’t get main woman lead in this drama...
There were many females in the main lead's life where he respects and love them, whether its familial or romantic. So far, I don't think there was any particular girl the main lead would do anything to get her heart. One of the reason been that his in a complicated position & don't want them wrapped up in it & another reason is because he doesn't have a lot of time left to live. By the time he realises his not going to die and gets stronger, he'll probably be wrapped up in the war. So perhaps he would not get any girl in the end :/
I don’t really know about Yuran’s feeling towards Asule. She did say that she likes JY.There were times when…
Yea, I think during the wedding, asule basically said 'I've put u at a disadvantaged position/loss' & yuran said 'I am willing (to be in this position so basically no need to be sorry)'. there were times where Yu Ran acts like Asule's wife like visiting him in the mainland, brought him food, welcomed him home when he went off on a job, worrying about him, nagging at him etc. She knows what asule likes and he also knows what she likes. They're so cute together u kind of want them to end up together. And I feel like if they lived together long enough, she will grow to love asule. But I think Yu Ran kissing Ji Yie afterward kind of seals the deal that she's in love with Ji Yie and there's no way back. Perhaps she was very sad because she's the only one who knows that asule likes her and she's feeling regretful because asule is always accomodating towards her (like when she brought him snacks from her hometown but he only ate one piece so she scolded him. He ended up eating everything and said it was yummy. She only found out when she got back that actually all the snacks were spoiled but asule didn't want her to be sad and ate everything) I'm iffy about the princess too. Even though she loves asule, she has an ulterior motive. With YuRan, she doesn't have an ulterior motive and is in asule's best interest. For example, if Ji Yie and Asule fight and its Ji Yie's at fault, i think YuRan would side with asule. The princess however will make excuses for her brother. I think the princess is too serious and complicated of a person for asule, even though she is sweet, smart and thoughtful. I feel like asule needs a girl who is more straightforward
