Hoho I can't believe I'm still here. From the spoilers I'm seeing, a lot of intense things seem to be happening? The trailer to the last episode looks promising as well (I bet Yi Qing is still alive). But Nan Chu :((. I hope he makes it alive as well but its not looking good. That is the only character I don't want dead because he literally did nothing wrong :(. I might continue on with this drama if its a happy ending after all

Oh no, I saw on twitter that apparently if the tv station doesn't resolve this issue by the 11th June, then novoland eagle flag won't be airing this year because the broadcasting station already have dramas strictly lined up for the rest of the year. same. I'm even more invested in the antagonist's storyline than the female lead. The problem is because she's not able to make any of her actions convincing to me, which just makes her character kind of lame. She's not necessarily a bad actress, she just doesn't seem to portray her character correctly. plus the script is not helping either lol

LOL! yes! she's meant to be on par with the male lead but she's just plainly idiotic at this stage. Is it just me or most novel to drama adaptations water the female characters down into oblivion, and then expect the male lead to fall for her....for no particular reason whatsoever

up to episode 27. hmm, the main female lead is not getting interesting fast enough (her character development is too slow). i think the actress is confused on how to play out the role. at least we get a lot of chemistry and romantic scenes with the two leads now. A majority of the cast is pulling their weights and holding a great performance. Let's just say they deserved a better script. I had to skip a couple of episodes in between because it got draggy. Might scan through the remaining episodes just cause I want to know what happens. Stunts are still great

this was what I was thinking as well. I'm really surprised by the male lead. I never knew he could pull off these kinds of characters so well

Is anyone still alive after ep 10. It was a whole wipeout of all the strong characters thanks to BOMBS. BRO. The director builds these strong characters up only to kill them because the evil side had bombs and because they were too naive to realise that there's an intruder in their house. I'm so sad even though I know they need to die for the main female lead to toughen up and become the woman she was in the novels

Oh no, too bad the ratings are going down. I personally think it's great so far. Initially, I didn't want to watch it because it looks like it'll end sad. Then when I started, the cinematography, character designs, fighting scenes and plotline drew me in. Some people may not like the female lead as of right now. I personally fell in love with her and her portrayal of the character after ep 8 when shit goes down. Shit really goes down after ep 10. I really love what they did with the fighting scenes. I think the story will play along with ideas of wuxia and jianghu and their importance in china at the time. And can I also say, I love the two main casts. Their chemistry is great so far (up to ep 16). I saw the male cast act a comedic character in another drama so when I saw him in this drama, I almost didn't recognise him because his character in this one is completely opposite to him in the other one. He really is a versatile actor. and if you like a pretty cast, you're going to like this one. I don't know how they do it, but basically all of the cast are young, good looking and act well.

Same! I really want a part 2. It ended at a good place. I was waiting for HanJiang to finally stop sitting on the fence but when he finally did, it was AT THE ENDING CREDITS. I'm holding onto that rumour about how the team is currently seeking for funds to make part 2. Though I think the old cast wouldn't be there for part 2...if there is a part 2...TT^TT.

Shofeng Heye LOOKS SO GOOD ALL THE TIME...even rolling in the dust...maybe that's why he got all the girls. Omg yesss the uncle, he was scary smart. I thought his son was smart but I guess his nothing compared to the dad. One of the best characters for sure
