i remember scanning the books a while back and if i remember correctly, there should be enough content for the anime to have season 3 and 4. right now the drama diverge away from the anime a bit. at around ep 9, the drama has already completed the anime season 1 arc. if they cover season 2 arc in the next 10 episodes, then we're on track to get a full book adaptation... as long as they don't diverge away from the books too much

that's how time travelling works. nothing he does in the past will have major changes to the future. we won't know what the old DJ does because the series didn't touch on it. tbh, i don't think they have enough episodes for that. all i'm saying is that the time line of events makes sense in a time travelling perspective.

the switching body is the fantasy part. But suppose HW went back in time and became the youngest heir as HW, he is basically travelling back to the past. he can't change anything that happens in the future so from a time travelling point of view, it does make sense. Nothing you do in the past will change in the future. The future have already taken into consideration of anything you did in the past to try to changed the future. Reborn DJ did created Miracle, so that company also existed in the present and is part of the time line. HW going back into his own body is also part of the time line. Nothing he can do in the past can change the fact that he will still end up waking up in his own body.

The whole novel is supposedly funny and absurd except the ending and when we found out about lian hua's real past.
lian hua sacrificed his health to save his friends and to fight enemies. In the end, one of his arms stopped working, he can't see very well, and he starts forgetting who he is. He becomes a bit dumb. He knows his dying so he left his friends without letting them know where he went because he doesn't want them to see him die.
At the end, we see lian hua living a casual life as per usual. his only happiness is playing chinese checkers with a mysterious man. Every time lian hua wins, the mysterious man will give him a silver nugget. Every day, the mysterious man would ask if he really didn't know who he was and lian hua would say he does know. his the man that have money (implying that he doesn't remember who this man is). That is how his been surviving.
So basically one of his friends found him but we don't have the satisfaction on knowing who, though there are guesses.

i personally feels it's sad and frustrating. At the end he sacrificed for his friends and did not have the life he deserves. see the below comment for more details -
the drama ending was unsatisfying but on the stand point of time travelling, it makes more sense than the webtoon ending. i think they were going for the accuracy to science route where when someone time travels, they can not change major events that had happened in the future. What they changed in the past ends up causing the events of the future. When you time travel, you slot yourself like a disk into the line of events but the events that need to happen will still happen. However, this one also involves switching body so i kind of wish Do Jun didn't have to die. At least he still got the company, Miracle, in which he have set up. And at least he didn't have to run Sooyanf. If he did, he won't be able to ever live a normal life. He will have to live like grandpa.
It's just sad no one knows one of the founder of miracle is HW. Not only that, Doo Jun's family is also HW's family. His lived with them for 17 yrs. He must also feel sad that they're still mourning over him. Overall still a very great watch

I was thinking the same thing (until i read a spoiler which told us why from the novel) . I remember at certain points of the drama, the grandfather exposed to his children that he knows about their hidden slush funds and was quite angry. It seems he doesn't have much positive views on slush funds so why would he give one to DJ as a final gift? Seems like a risky gift to me, considering it is his favourite grandson. Before reading the spoiler, I don't think it's as simple as the grandfather giving him money to buy out SY.
