I'm glad we got a sincere apology from Kinn too - i knew we would but still it's important that they talk it out properly. Kinn was going about it All Wrong last ep, but now they finally talked about what Kinn did and he apologized and Porsche forgave him. As long as Porsche is ok i'm ok, yk?

honestly.... i rooted for his character you might find yourself doing the same

whose bright idea was it to put the water trap seal on top of a POOL? like a POOL which students USE? so anyone with enough spiritual power at a BUDDHIST HIGH SCHOOL (so spiritual kids enrolling wouldn't be shocking) could just shatter the seal when they're swimming? man.

Ok so that was.... not good....... nothing made sense honestly - how disappointing i've been looking forward to this movie. Like Hee-min is the new guy but suddenly he's super devoted to So-young when they don't know each other? and Ji-min is in love with Hee-min when, again, they don't know each other? He just got there the other day for pete's sake. Not to mention this is about spirits but nothing was actually scary or suspenseful. So many moments that felt unearned just TRYING to get us to shed some tears but because nothing was truly explained/fleshed out in any way all these moments just felt hollow. Even the "main character" moment just felt cheesy and unexciting because nothing about Hee-min has really been talked about we have barely any read on his character (unless we count 1 info-dumping ghost the few minutes before)

Yesss their dynamic is the best! It's so refreshing seeing such a balanced and mature romance. I'm sad there's only 12 eps left. At the pace the episodes are released it'll be over so soon ;o;

ugh i wish fans wouldn't be like this. actors and actresses should be free to act with whoever they like! I would love to see Yang Yang and Lusi act in something else together!

They're portraying such a solid, mature love that has clearly been building over the 10 years they've known each other. It's so good!

but of course lol i expected nothing less, i knew this drama is about the power struggle, but that doesn't mean i can't be a little sad that the wuxia side is more toned down than i expected

i know it's to be expected, and i don't hate watching lanxi outmaneuvering people in court (they really have done well making sure it's not dry to watch), but while they have their duties i would've loved to see their lives in the martial arts world more since those identities matter to them too. i just wish there was more of a balance so when their way of life in the martial world is threatened i would be able to have more emotions about them having to choose/facing the loss of that side of them

right?? it's not bad but like... lowkey i really am missing it being a wuxia.

right? he took such strong action against lanxi for having the fountain abode, even though there's no evidence lanxi ever conspired against him, but he has never done anything to really stop baili or ju despite them constantly working to harm lanxi in order to become the heir of lord pisses me off. he scolded her ONCE privately and then she was right back to scheming. and now he's taken lanxi's ability to protect himself away.

yes i love that! they're perfectly balanced and respect each other so much <3

maybe i'd feel the loss of his inner force more if i saw more of it in action? like there have definitely been fights but idk if there were more moments of him being his cool powerful hfx self (especially closer to this ep) i feel like the loss of that side of him would've felt more devastating? i feel sad about it because i really feel like it was cruel of his dad to strip his ability to protect himself away from him, but at the same time the majority of his time on screen has been as lanxi, you know?

i want more badass wuxia fights. there has been so much time spent on the political power struggle, and while it's not boring i live for cool moments of bai-hei fengxi

his identities are united and he isn't living a double life anymore, but at what cost? :(

It really is just pure clownery. If you want fluff watch fluff, if you want angst watch angst, we all have our preferences and there's nothing wrong with that! but don't hate on shows for not being something they never intended on being.

I got the same impression! Looking at episode 1, Naoya was definitely paying attention to Kouta before they were properly introduced at that party, which makes me think he already liked him.

Ahh the struggle - I want to know, and the answers should all be in the manga like you said, but that would mean spoiling the drama which i don't really want to do lol...

i wonder if Naoya knows about Kouta's bad luck - even a little. the way he apologized and said he'd come to Kouta next time makes me wonder if he knows that Kouta's bad luck makes it hard for him to reach him. though he could just be very considerate lol
