Had been I in Jong Suk's position, I would have been a lot weaker: he want to save his friend from becoming a…
Yeah I really thought he'd reflect on what they both went through and join him tbh or at least use his position in the police force to help him - ah well there's still time for that lol
Really good overall, tons of wild fun! But I really think this would've been stronger if the latter half plot was the whole plot. Like, the drugs and cop corruption didn't have to happen really, imo - and tbh the corruption plotline is just par for course in this genre like it's typical, right? Meanwhile a D.I.D detective that can't remember 6 traumatic months of his childhood and is linked to a murderer who is still obsessed with him is far more unique and interesting. This should've been an ongoing string of cases of murders and suicides that they begin to realize is linked to 1 gaslighter who has been pulling the strings all along (aka the latter half of the drama's plot) leading to the big reveal. I feel like then it would've felt more consistent? Like, both halves are good, but viewing them together- why did we bother with the narcotics unit corruption at all?? The real plot that we're all interested in is Ryu Soo Yeol's past with K and how the things in the past that they're trying to remember are happening again in the present. That's the real meat and I wish that was the overarching plot instead of only truly getting into in the latter half. The first half of the drama is about an 8, but the second half (which i got to after a bit of a break) is loads better because it felt like we finally got the plot we've been waiting for the whole time - that part of the drama felt more like an 8.5 to me. So idk my rating is sitting between those 2 lol.
Anyone who can tell me what was in the last episode in the contract? Thank you.
What we saw right at the end? The contract was to renew the lease on Shiro's apartment, but now Ichiro is also on the contract (so Shiro and Ichiro are officially living together!)
This one just doesn't measure up to the first one, unfortunately. Many times it felt like it was trying to reproduce 1:1 what the first accomplished but it just doesn't hit the same because of the writing.
the only way i can accept this because they have totally 180'd his character it's so disappointing
yeah! i think that was mentioned before that they decided that it would just be 1 too many couples or something? i might be misremembering. but it's so sad if this is the best they could come up with just because they ended up not going for GramBlack - like the couple doesn't have to happen just don't make Gram act unrecognizable!
#2 Nope, he didn't care a damn about her or his own flesh & blood. She's just another killer weapon...
I'm literally not pressed just confused how you initiating this conversation has lead to you telling me not to reply to you lmao. Let's leave it here, we are clearly having a breakdown of communication.

Literally where in any of my comments did I say anything in support of them? Are you good? Me acknowledging that, in his twisted and self-centered way, he probably did care about her a smidge is not me saying that their relationship was good or that I support them in the slightest.
