Just watched the 1st movie last night! Them playing a deadly version of werewolf is interesting~ I'll definitely be checking out the other movies!

what's wild to me is that this drama was never marketed as a rom-com anyways. from all the trailers/teasers i watched it promised to be a thriller on a mountain, not romance, so idk why some ppl are now shocked that this drama is.... a thriller on a mountain.

for a 2013 film i gotta say it did pretty well, but there are things left vague/explained. i get that this is the villager's side but still... there are too many scenes like that and it doesn't help the movie imo

The world isn't going under from their pov they're, like i said, living it up. They like it there! I personally don't care if they wanna look good while in the Borderlands lol it makes their character design more interesting anyways

If the world was your oyster and you didn't have to pay for anything I'd raid the mall too tbh, because why not? Also we know those characters in particular are living it up in the Borderlands so they're going to dress accordingly. Idk I think it's fun when characters have style instead of everyone just looking grimy (if the situation allows for it ofc). Thing is too we definitely saw people looking pretty rough in the Borderlands - it all depends on the player's resources and mentality about their situation.

who doesn't love characters in cool 'fits?

oh i've played werewolf! it's a lot of fun~ if there's a movie that you think tops AiB i'll have to check it out!

This was such a fun watch!

It looks really good so I want to get into this, but I'm torn because I know about the original mangaka's crimes.. like... is it ok to get into this? not asking in a judging way i just don't know personally what to do

I loved how twisted and smart the AiB games were! The game masters are next level the way they played with everyone's minds

I agree with all of this! Admittedly I'm biased since I haven't watched Squid Game (but with everyone on the internet talking about it I feel like I already have lmao), but honestly the idea that everyone chose to take part in the games is one of the reasons why I'm not particularly enticed to even watch Squid Game. There's something about people from all walks of life being thrown into a "play or die" world with no option to leave that's more enticing.
"We choose to be corrupt or choose to be heroes. In an equal situation of survival how we choose to play and by what rules we govern ourselves decides who we are. A world or game cannot make us monsters. We choose to become them or not." That's it exactly! That's why I like AiB so much!

i was an open one anyone could join! i think it was set up by viki (?) idk if they're going to make more it for the next episodes, but if they do you'll see it scheduled on viki's homepage!

10/10 screamed, cried, flipped the bird at a certain man (you'll know), cried some more. amazing movie.

if Woo Do Hwan is in then so am i~

i had so much fun watching this in the viki watch party just now! stellar cast, great cinematography - i'm already sucked in

Yes yes let's leave Mulan in the hands of the Chinese - it's their story after all! Let's not even mention what Disney tried smh. I already know this will be better.

Junta is my son... and aroace bc i say so-

gonna be honest, the plot came together well but i was lowkey bored

Yesss! I love when they let the FL be capable! It just makes things so much more enjoyable! She and the killer both slayed their roles!

no problem! glad i could confirm then~
