Putting aside some plot things feeling under-developed, the age + maturity gap was a big turn off for me. Like i'm sorry what's a 26 year old finding dateable about a 19 year old anyways? (international ages) Even if you want to argue the age gap is nbd because Chan is Technically legal, the maturity gap is so apparent i can't wrap my head around an adult falling in love with someone who acts like a kid. Channie is cute, just a big baby bear, and I can understand him crushing on Yul, but as for him and Yul dating.... I couldn't get into it.

there was something so eerie the way sadako's mother slid behind the wall and then slid hlaf out again staring right at you. i didn't want to look her in the eye lol;;

the teasers + the synopsis telling us the main character is possessed by a demon that kills people set expectations, that's all.

It's true shamans do that but I say this because it's usually a really bad thing to write someone's name in red.

He was desperate to escape his life and travel with Maki so he stole from the rich people's house, but the woman who lived here fell down the stairs while he was there and died. He later turned himself in and took the blame for her death (even though he didn't push her, he left her in a bad way which led to her death). Naomi felt like because of him, his relationship with Maki was turning bad and hurting Maki (proven to him by not being able to bring himself to touch Maki the way he wants, initiating a fight instead that accidentally broke his arm) and so he went to prison and told Maki they could never meet again. While he and Maki never forgot each other during the years Naomi was in prison, which Maki proved by playing the recording, they were never able to meet again and Naomi married that other girl. They had to start over and just hold that time together in their memories.

yessss i need a new spooky drama, i hope this is good!

the fact that shi miao had zero proper reflection on her behaviour and never apologized drives me up the wall. wan xing was the only one who rightly called her out, but when faced with criticism she once again refuses to take any blame. the story took her on a whole journey but she didn't mature. and even in the hospital when she was shouting she was twisting up everything so everything nice he did for her that she rejected was now things she apparently did for him that he rejected. i needed an apology instead of shi fen just letting it go and coming back...

the way the plot went at the end kinda ruined my thoughts about this drama a bit, but overall a silly fun watch. i liked them working in bits of serious stuff too, even tho i think some of that was mishandled by the end.

shi miao is an unbearable brat especially in these final episodes

That's good! Honestly, with technology these days, it's better not to force an actor to do something so unhealthy. Smoking looks cool in fiction, but I worry when I see actors smoke for real

episode 17 was so touchingggg
