I HATE WEEKEND DRAMAS!!!! I hate them so much! Ok, now that I got that out. I don’t know how PJY worked under those circumstances. Having two of the most handsome actors as her love interests had to be stressful. I’m glad we’re finally getting to the unveiling of the foolishness. It’s gone on way too long. Glad SW got his arm back. I’m really sad this one is almost over, but I’m glad they didn’t drag it out to 50,000 episodes. It’s short and sweet. For me, hands down one of the best short dramas in a while. IMHO. Two more episodes. Hurry up Friday!!

It’s not that he had sex with her to make her stay. He used that night to say that he is possibly the father. He may have slept with her, but! I feel like he used that night that she can’t remember as an excuse. If he didn’t sleep with her she doesn’t remember. She just woke up with him in her bed. We don’t know if they actually slept together, but for him it was the perfect way to keep her by saying they slept together and the baby was his. I don’t know if I’m explaining it well enough, but I think he lied and the pregnancy gives him as good a reason for him to cling on to the relationship. I feel like he knows it’s Pei’s too, that’s why he had the doctors say she was two months.

No one knows for sure. Everyone is speculating that he did while she was passed out drunk, but there are others that believe he lied saying he did to use the pregnancy as an excuse to not get divorced.

I'm glad YL finally knows that XD is all man, that his mans is present and in full working order. 😂 I was looking forward to her finding out, but they did it in such an anticlimactic way. Still glad she finally knows. So does that mean CC is a whole man too or is he really a eunuch? Either way I ship him and TY, they are so cute together. Now that they have said their vows with the heavens as their witness, I wonder what's next. We have a pissed off, heartbroken queen who's in cahoots with PoN. We have an incompetent king who, just like most kings and emperors became paranoid at the slightest whisper. They always turn against the one who put them in power. Now I know XD is not who he says he is, and he is loyal to no one but YL and his revenge, but still. AND! There are a bunch of people that want XD head on a platter. So I wonder how they are going to resolve this in the last part of this drama. Not to mention he still doesn't know who killed his brother. Since the person used the PoN carriage I think it's the queen, but why she would kill him I'm still not sure. Unless he saw something he wasn't supposed to see, like her cheating on the king with the PoN. IJS. Trying to work this out in my head.
OMG!! My heart broke for LSW! I don't even know what I want to see happen anymore, I'm so confused, lol. I'm happy the king confessed, but LSW stole this episode for me. They made it hard to choose in this one because both the ML and the SML have their charms and they are both extremely handsome. And it's almost over.....😥 (so sad).

Only in the way that he is trying his best to keep her in the palace and whether or not she has any existential thoughts about life in the palace, her true place in his heart is in question.
I simply can not with this drama. I don't watch trailers and all of that so I was not expecting all the sweetness this episode. I feel bad for SW, but even moreso the King. He has the weight of his country on him while people are trying to sabotage and/ or kill him all the time and he lost the love of his life that I still don't think he knows that she didn't even love him the same way. Right? 5 episodes to go, anything can happen. It's giving me the red sleeve vibes at this point, but I'm here for it. Oh! and what about the girl that worked with SR? Is she gonna pose a problem since she apparently fell for the King because he saved her?
Why is LWJ the only knucklehead that doesn’t know any of the so called greatest warriors and sword deities? Why did they let him go out into the martial world knowing absolutely nothing? His ignorance is not bliss. It’s gonna get him killed, lol. Somebody help him. Poor thing..
So confusing. Too many players on the board now, I can’t keep up. Sword deities are not all that. LHY and ZYZ may as well not have even been a thing. That was ridiculous, but he did look amazing though. I just want to get to the point. Too much fluff. Too many fights. XS hasn’t regained his powers yet and his brothers are still in play. SMH. First, I actually like this drama, surprisingly. I enjoy watching DW, even in Miss the Dragon. Apparently I enjoy cheesy xianxia dramas if they have attractive actors in them. Second, not a big fan of Peter Ho. Didn’t like him in Fox Volant, like him even less in this. I’d say his character shouldn’t want someone that doesn’t want him, not just because she was his brothers “wife”. I mean that is a big issue, but dude she doesn’t want you. I don’t blame her, he’s not attractive at all. To this point does she even know / remember who he is while he’s carrying this massive flame for her? Third, not a fan of all these characters with obsessive/ addictive behaviors. It’s too much sometimes and definitely overdone.
More than half way through and I'm ready to drop this drama too. SMDH. I tried to hold on, but the plot is getting more and more ridiculous. 18 more episodes and I might just blow my own brains out.
Lou Ning is an idiot. She didn't listen to her brother and indirectly helped A Fu almost murder her brother. Being a thousand years old is still a thousand years old. When I told my children not to do something at the age of 2, they knew they better not do it. They may not have understood why, but they knew the consequences. So, miss me with the argument that she's young and sheltered. I also blame LG for even bringing A Fu anywhere near her knowing how slick and evil he is. Especially if you weren' t going to watch him.
And how is all of this going on and LG has no idea that he's even free? How? Make it make sense.
I'm tired of LS obsession with LL. OMG! Give it a rest! Your love is literally killing him and he's stupid enough to let you kill him. All the while HN is killing himself trying to help save you because of his obsession. SMH.
It's always the same thing. Some obsessed person goes off the deep end to try and win the heart of the one they love to their own detriment. It feels like they are just pumping out the same drama with different actors and actresses. I need a better storyline to fall back in love with Xianxia.
The beginning of this drama was written all wrong. I can see why people dropped. Regardless of the reason, this situation was handled poorly by both families. To force JJ to be friends with a complete stranger without telling him why is wrong. Then to force them to live together is even more wrong. I was annoyed just watching it, so I couldn't imagine how someone in that situation would feel. If they had explained it better instead of letting her run around looking like a psychopathic stalker, a lot of people may not have dropped the show. IJS
I think their age gap is appropriate and perfect. In real life - I'd be rooting for them to date lol. It's fabulous…
I am well aware of the age disparity of marriage throughout history as it was not just a thing in china but all over the world. It still does not make it more palatable for me but I enjoy historical dramas (fictional or factual) so there is that. I appreciate her youthful appearance as most women would. Once again, the apparent age gap is what bothers me and I have my own reasons for that so I was merely stating my opinion and my feelings about this drama. That's what the comment section is for am I right? Someone else may have the same issue and choose not to watch it because of my comment.
Although I completed this drama I was very unimpressed. The FL acting was terrible, ok, maybe not her acting but her body movements were mechanical and stiff and didn't look natural. The plot of the story was a little ridiculous. Why was BL so obsessed with Rui? That was overboard and a little sus. The same with WY, why was he so obsessed with BL that he really thought he could take on the king and win her affections? I'm not too fond of those story plots. It's borderline psychotic and most often too over the top for me. It seemed like everyone was obsessed with someone or some plot of revenge. Also was having difficulty with the age gap of the characters. I know how young girls were when they married back in the day, doesn't make it right or stop me from getting nauseous when I see it. Strangely enough, though, I liked the emperor, lol. Not gonna win best drama of 2022 for me. Glad it's over.

However, the annoying naivety of the FL and the obsession of BL is over done. I get the FL had been sheltered and experienced “first love” at 18, but man! To be this annoying is almost too much for me to continue watching. Now Immortal master has incited BL to be even more annoying about her obsession. She should have died long time ago. And!!! I am soooooo tired of this benevolent attitude where if you forgive someone they’re just supposed to magically change. Every time, that comes back to bite somebody in the a$$. I was so irritated when HN told his brother that it was his fault for not protecting him…..like, WHAT?? Your actions bout to get the whole clan wiped out. We may not be able to walk on land, but we alive. SMH. Sometimes I think people just write whatever with no forethought just for the sake of putting a drama out to make money.
