LOL, I'm a young at heart ahjumma, but why do you ask? I also wanted to comment on your review of Black and White which was spot on, as for the most part I had the same reaction. I just posted my review of it for what it's worth.

PrettyC, I think we are very much alike in the attachment to our characters corner. LOL Didn't you read about my quirky habits? Don't worry I won't blame you, instead I'll sing the post 8 sucked chorus with vengence.

I know, and when you go against those instincts and turns out to be right, you're more irate for not listening. Two Weeks is a must for me simply because of Lee Jun Ki. Go Soo! I love him and have Golden Empire on my list for when I can marathon it and gorge! I've seen him in a couple, Love 911, Green Rose, and Will It Snow at Christmas. The only movie I started with him that I dropped was Psychic, and it was more due to the story. I see you're watching Love Around and Good Doc. Liking them so far?

No see, you have me curious about the sucky last part, so when I watch it I will attempt to ride it out unless I'm compelled to drop it *smirk*.

I read and liked your review on Aishiteiru to Ittekure. I had this on my list because it sounded really interesting so thanks for the tip. Nothing irritates me more than a great drama going south fast halfway through. It almost makes you think the director and/or writer left and was replaced by someone who didn't have a clue. As endings are my thing, I'll put this on hold until there's a day when I want to take the risk of watching this 'eyes wide open'.

My favorites were Queen In-Hyun's Man (loads of kissing to choose from) and Love Rain (sweet, hot, sizzling) correct it was three kisses in that one moment.

Hello there PrettyC, I'm just getting in from hectic day so of course I'm watching dramas, to regroup. And yes I'm finishing my marathon of B&W, and overall it is good even though there are some issues, but there are more positives than negatives so its worth a watch. I'm trying to write a short review and debating whether I'll post it after.

I note you just completed 'Aishiteiru to Ittekure', the synopsis sounded very interesting did it live up? Did it influence you to watch 'Can You Hear My Heart?' I started watching CYHMH but put it on hold b'cause at the time I'd just finished watching something depressing and need more cheer than tear, and never got to pick it up again. I will check in and see what you guys are up to and what's being talked about.

Thanks for the compliment my attempts to be 'warm and friendly' with the profile. How was it? I still with B&W but you know what it's really really getting good. At ep. 10 stuff happens which sends the whole story in a spin, people are being introduced and mysterious past is being uncovered, Chen is too shell shocked right now to act the smart ass so I'm lovin it.

i don't like the romance part... i hate it. idk why i just dont like it. its confusing
I agree the romance storyline is messy and confusing in it's portrayal. I'm frustrated with it and wish they would either clean it up or drop it because as it stands it is not contributing. CheerfulSoul there are 'love interests' in this drama...go back and watch from the beginning you'll note there is more than one.

Yes, I'm from and live in The Bahamas. That's great that you have Caribbean ties. I too lived in Europe for a number of years; in London where I worked. I recently returned home to live at the end of 2009 which is when I started getting into KDramas. Before that I was heavy into Bollywood; I still watch a few when I can from time to time. I'm marathoning B&W as I'm also into my 1st week of holidays. I'm also picking up off the back burner, Reversal of Fate aka 'I'll Give You Everything' which is over 100 eps so I'm watching that in bits.
My favourite genres are: romance, historical, fantasy, sci-fi and comedy (real escape material). As you know when your work is stressful you want the brain to relax on down time. :-) Finally got the additional info up with a nice beach picture too. Now only to figure out how to reduce it. If you have any tips let me know. What are your fav genres?

I actually did the write up about myself and completed the rest of the information that came after about twice earlier today and saved it. I'm just hoping it is just a matter of MDL being delayed. I was too frustrated to go for a third. I'm watching Black & White with Zhou Vic, whose killing me with his 'Johnny Depp Capt. Sparrow' imitation of the character and it's NOT working for me; so I'm irritated as I watch it LOL. I just finished watching JDrama Orthros no Inu whichc was quite good. I work in a stressful job so I watch dramas, movies and exercise usu. walking & jogging. Also have insomnia so up quite late at nights. Wish me luck and hope the additional info. I completed gets loaded up soon.

Hello, just to say I did finally figure it out. I made a real effort b'cause I ddin't want others to think that it was a fake viewer. So thanks for the advice.

Title Azumi
I started watching this movie some years ago, and couldn't go further after watching their final test before being assigned to the core mission. I was not sure if I could like the main protagonist enough so I dripped it. I'm thinking to try and watch it again.

I'm watching the series and enjoying it but I'm not feeling the character of Chen Zai Tian. It's coming off as 'over acting' to me, and it doesn't seem natural but rather contrived in an effort to appear 'special'. I keep getting the feel that he's trying to emulate 'Captain Jack Sparrow' from Pirates of Caribbean with the dash of feminism, the way he walks and delivers his lines, his whole manner. It's not working for me. I much prefer Chao Mark's character Ying Xiong, plus he is better looking. Other than that so far I'm enjoying the series; I just hope that the character of Chen Zai Tian doesn't spoil it for me.
