Prison Break was excellent! Again another intense show with good writing, directing, acting etc. I read the other day Wentworth Miller just came out, and at one time tried to commit suicide..glad he did not succeed. I remembered the first time I watched Prison, I was taken aback by the gritty 'take no prisoners' feel...man was it powerful. This drama is like a roller coaster ride and every now and then when we hit a curve I'm saying OMG! :)) I'm going to watch a really LOL drama after this.

LOL....I had made that promise but was so captivated with GE, I knew I would not be able to concentrate fully on PP. So I took a breather 'cos GE is intense and went back to it, still riveted to the screen. I love it. But your are spot on about the human factor and there actually is romance but it is very subtle in one case and very kind of twisted in the other from what I can see. Isn't hate the other side of love and there is usually a thin line. While I love the characters in GE, I actually find them ALL pitiful, as people. At ep. 9, Go Soo is fab, but surprisingly I'm really also liking Son Hyun Joo's character very much. These characters are so well done you do sympathize them.

Glad to see you're enjoying GE and Go Soo...I had the same reaction a you did. CYHMY is on my 'hold list'. I had started watching it some time ago, and wasn't feeling the characters too much, so I put it on the side to come back to it. That's been a long while ago.

Dropped. I really couldn't stand the three main characters.
Two of the main characters I couldn't stand, but I slugged it out to the end with regret.

I had to watch the first two episodes carefully to get the full appreciation of the setting and characters.

It's called insomnia, and the bad part is I stream dramas when I can't sleep which makes it worse. But I will try to divide between PP and GE...if that's possible. So far I'm really liking GE.. so I may hold PP until GE is finished. I think it's 'cause the character is so strong.. and he's propelled by the mantras 'when the rich grimace you give up and you get scared; when the powerful yell you give up becuse you get scared'. And you're right about Go Soo....oooh la la :))

Well I started GE intending just to get a sample, as I'm also watching Padam Padam, but I was so intrigued that I am still watching it. In ep. 4 and loving Go Soo and his character. As I told PrettyC I'm enjoying the battle of wits, wills and verbal fencing. Seemingly well written and well executed so far. I saw you wrote a very good review...Opening with Dickenson :)) Way to separate the sheep from the goats LOL!! Good stuff.

LOL...I abandoned PP for a bit and started GE; I too am not a fan of melos too much anx and tears and bitches! But I'd heard so much about PP and I like Bum, so I decided to finally give it a go. I like Jung Woo but he's not amongst my favourites, however I must say in PP he did an outstanding job. On Ep. 4 of GE and I'm loving Go Soo and his character in this as well as the story. Don't mind if there is no romance 'cause I'm enjoying the battle of wits, verbal fencing and sheer battle of wills which is happening all over the place. LOL My kind of people. So far I think it's well written and well executed.

No worries, I am very busy with a house project that just ties up my day outside of the house so I'm a bit tardy. Got into a robust conversation this morning with a dear relative so now I need a drama with some bite, so I think I'll begin GE tonight.

Hi PrettyC, sorry am so late but I'm working on a house project which takes me out most of the day. I want to start GE this weekend. As to the end of PP I'll probably cry my eyes out, I can just guess it because it started so sad. I learnt the sadism in KDrama, if you have a fated character and you love him, there will be no happy ending!! They will heap misery upon his misery :))

Thanks for that, because I loved QIHM, though it's not to 'everyone's taste' :-D, so I'll look forward to watching Ugly Alert. I tried to find it recently with English subs and it was like not happening.

Thanks for that, I'll look forward to it, because I did have my skepticism about her chem with Joo Won. LOL I think I may have been projecting 'cause JW kinda creeps me out for some reason (sorry to all those fans of his nothing personal). I think I'll watch Bridal Mask to prepare because everyone raves about it being great so maybe if I experience him there I won't feel so uncharitable towards him. XD

PrettyC, never mind my bemoaning how they treated my baby in the first ep. the show is a stealer and I'm really enjoying it because as you said it's a solid script and great acting and it has a 'movie' quality about it. What I thought as I watched was they are actually 'telling me a story' and that is what I liked. A simple story beautifully told, and this is my early impression so it looks good.

Watching Padam and it's like a fatal attraction LOL I'm drawn to watch it 'cause it's got my attention, but I'm agonizing over the injustice and I'm only in the first ep! I won't stop because I like it so much already but I'm upset because of those sugar honey ice tea people who are messing with my boy...and he falls for their crap! aigoo :-)

Go Soo is really attractive and he's got presence so he don't need to be pretty eventhough he is :)) His acting is, I think intense...he's got that broody male thing going on LOL. I'm going to try to watch it sometime this weekend. GD I'll get around to watching because of Moon Chae Won, and Love Around...don't know, I'm just not feeling that as yet.

I'm interested in all of them but in particular I'm looking forward to Hiers (former Gossip Girl fan) and Generation of Youth for obvious reasons. Time will tell if they're worth the hype or not.

LOL...Ahjumma is closer to reality but I'll accept eonni! :)) As we say in Bahamas 'I is what I is' :-D I actually was thinking you were enquiring because you had a cut off age for MDL Friends ;-) I note you're watching Skip Beat...I enjoyed that, appreciating that its an adaptation of a popular Japanes manga, so it has its limits.

Yes I am a sure fan of his, and like you I thought he was great in Love 911. I'm thinking of starting GE as well, but I get impatient with waiting so that's why I tend to watch marathons. Patience is not my strong suit ^_^.
