Is He rufei supposed to be this dumb? all his schemes against he yan were so stupid and poorly executed. Like even when he was ambushing them while entering the capital, he did it in a restaurant? when it would more sense to ambush them on the road where it is more dangerous and less traceable to him. His attendees following he yan were terrible too. Like the only one who had a bit of a potential was his old guard? like all the plots agains the leads are sooooo juvenile, I cant take the villian seriously.

Xing Yue started all alone, protecting the world. Bai shuo started with everything, and she gained and lost every single thing in her life, until she became completely alone all again, protecting the world
I feel like we could have definitely gotten another 20 episodes exploring Xiao Heng's arc and his revenge. It would have been nice seeing Xue Fangfei orchestrating things from her house while Xiao Heng acts as her chess piece. I feel like they did a decent job given the amount of episodes left. But I would have loved the arc to be explored more and for us to have a deeper connection to the arc so that we can truly feel the empact. the last few episodeds felt detached, I couldnt really feel for the plot expect of course the plot lines that were with us from the start. Still, they wrapped things nicely enough for me to not be mad.
This is what you get when you have a powerful cast. The portrayal was beautiful, everyone held their own pretty well. The plot flowed well and the characters had depth wasnt expecting much at all going into this but it is a solid 10/10 from me.
Wanning's story was so well put together and extremely well acted. At the start I didnt expect them to give any depth to her character, but the last episodes gave her so much justice
