I pay attention to every detail of the conversation especially of the ML's mother. We now know that ML had a rap*st brother, ML's mother thinks that money can buy every thing, there are frictions between FL's father and ML's parents, both families seems to be associates in the past, FL is still searching for her father, with all her lies the mother is digging her own grave. I wonder if the old man living in her village the little ethnic new ballerina student speaks about isn't FL's father. This little girl appearance brings forth so much emphasis with that conversation, it hits my bulb.

Wang Yi Zhou aka young Feng Rui portrays Wallace Chung's mannerisms very well. This young actor did his research and rehearsed in front a mirror to make it so real.

Chen Jin is always playing the nasty mother and she nails her role every time.

The opening OST melody is incredibly similar to the 2016 Cdrama Stay With Me.

Same view point. I don't mind a woman with all her flaws and weaknesses as long as the writing is not insulting my intelligence. I mind only when the acting and voice are babyish or borderline to stupidity. Sun Qian as Yu Er is doing a good job So did she in other Cdramas. I encourage young actors to put forth all their potential. And i am fond of Ming Dynasty settings.

If you are the type of viewer who doesn't care about romance but only cinematography, scenery, acting, music, mature scripts, the love of mankind for nature, have a box of tissues handy.

Nothing Gold Can Stay, The Long River (so tender an eulogy to the river), Ming Dynasty (i watched all of them), Imperial Age (a bridge to the Ming era).

As for this Cdrama, in my opinion, the title starting with "Legend" could lead to a misunderstanding. I believe that some scenes were accurate due to historical manuscripts. The addition of a little romance is to please some viewers. With or without whatever, it is a real feast to watch. So please to read positive comments on this thread.
