Was highly invested in this but it ends on a cliffhanger with no season 2 in sight. Highly recommended otherwise.

I just finished this drama, I really loved it. But I can't say the same for that ending. It begs for a season 2.

I just finished this... wow. I enjoyed that way more than I thought I would. The early episodes ngl were a bit hard to get through but it really picks up after the first 10 or so. After that, so many things frustrated me to no end, but everything worked out eventually. I'd say I'm happy about the happy ending, but not exactly satisfied. I wish we got a little more. Is it unreasonable to want 1 more episode after that ending? Also, the love-hate and complicated relationship between the leads was so refreshing, I would love to watch something like this again. My rating for this is 8.5, but rewatch value is like 10 for me.

I loved this series. This was my first drama for both Deng Wei and Julia Xiang and they did a fantastic job.

Iirc he wasn't pretending, he did have amnesia for a bit.

I'm looking for a good xianxia to watch on iQiyi, is this worth watching? I didn't watch red moon pact, or do I have to watch that first before this one?

Wow okay just finished. That was quite nice. Quite different from ALP. Also, I didn't expect this to be a lot more tragic than the initial trailer showed it to be lol. Like it's not even just the deaths that were tragic but the circumstances of some of the characters. I love that they did that, that they made a lot the side characters not insignificant, but have a real impact on the viewers. Some would show up for a few episodes but they really leave a lasting and unforgettable impression. I'm happy it ended the way it did, but honestly I wouldn't have minded if FY didn't come back at all in that last episode, and that's coming from me who avoids dramas with main character deaths at the end like the plague. I would have accepted a bittersweet ending from that last episode but I'm also not mad at all that we got a wedding out of it, and a hope that our lost soldiers will come back one way or another. I've given this xianxia a 9.5/10. Enjoyed it immensely and will def recommend to anyone.

I started and binged this in like 4 days, not really having high expectations or anything. But boy did I enjoy it. Out of all the xianxias and wuxias that come out every year, I typically find one to be outstanding. I think, so far at least, this is the one for me this year. It was The Legend of Shenli last year, which was the last c drama I really enjoyed. Not saying LOTDT was perfect but it definitely satisfied my craving for a good xianxia. Plus, I love xianxias that give us downtime post-climax and a good "epilogue" in the end. Overall I'd give this one 8.8.

I'm considering watching this, can someone please tell me how this exactly relates to ALP? I've watched ALP but it's been a while since I did and I don't remember if Bai Shuo or Fan Yue appeared in ALP...

I'm about 1/3 of the way into the drama, but is it just me, or are about 95% of the women in this drama toxic?? I can probably count on one hand all the female characters who aren't antagonistic. I don't usually notice things like this, but somehow, the FL always ends up being hated/targeted by some woman in power for just... existing.

wait... i just finished blank series, is this Wanwiwa the same doctor character from that series? same character, different actress?

Finished this yesterday, it was my first Thai GL and I really liked it. Faye and Yoko have extremely good onscreen chemistry (and offscreen too if I've learned anything from their blank episode react vids).

can i ask, is there development in FL's personality? she seems immature and naive where i still am in the drama
