Ironic, true, but who hasn't these days? Almost all celebrity women have the eye widening surgery and the same…
I do agree, I mean obviously if someone gets plastic surgery that's their own prerogative but their reasons for getting plastic surgery are really wrong, but beauty is a problem worldwide, we're all obsessed with looking pretty that we sometimes loose ourselves, it's crazy I mean we all know what's inside is what counts but we can't help it, it's so messed up. In general people want what others have, but Koreans take this to the next level, I mean even children get plastic surgery there, hell even babies which is very messed up.

It's not right to blame "extreme westernization" for Koreans obsession with plastic surgery, the western world does not tell them or force them to get surgery, it's them who want to look white, it's their own countries that are telling them they'll look better like that, no western people are promoting this or telling Asians they need to look western. It's not really anything to do with Europe etc, it's deep rooted into their own culture so they need to work on their society and accepting different types of beauty, Korea in general only sees one type of beauty which is so wrong, I mean in the western world there are many types they consider beautiful, Korea as a society really need to see that there is more than one type of beauty, and there are many western people that get surgery too, I mean every American celebrity has had something done. It's so sad, every time I'm in Korea I always meet girls that think they were ugly etc. because they didn't have big eyes even though they were so pretty, but it was their fellow Koreans that were making them feel like this.
Just watched this again, the memories took me back to August 2016 , still insanely in love with Fu Ling and Tian Yi and still forever grateful over the alternative ending, I still remember my utter heartbreak when the first ending came out (it came out on my 21st birthday too how cruel lol) honestly worst ending I had ever seen in anything, but thankfully the real ending (is what i'm going to call it) fixed it ,I don't think the first ending made sense, I think it was one of the worst endings I've seen, for example, the box her father made to save her if Shao Wu awakened, we were told about that for most of the drama but in the other ending it was neither mentioned nor seen so you have to wonder what would have been the point of that plot line, in the second ending it was used so it actually made sense, and Fu Ling and Tian Yi are no longer Shao Wu and Pian Yu anymore so they won't have to be reincarnated just to suffer over and over again so that good and in the other ending there is no closure for this, and evil won over good in the other ending too so in my opinion the other ending was pretty damn bad, still will never forgive Ting Jun for actually stealing Tian Yi's fate, never seen that before so at least have to give the writers props for most original ending, never seen an ending quite as crap lol which how stupid is he, even by swapping their fates Fu Ling would still not love him, it would not even be Fu Ling it would be Shao Wu but Ting Jun did become nuts in the end so rational thinking wasn't on his mind, but anyway in the proper ending all is well and my babies Fu Ling and Tian Yi are living happily together to grow old like they wanted <3 Character wise besides Ting Jun and Fei Shaung, I disliked Hue Zhen , I thought he was so annoying, always running his mouth without understanding anything and he always messed up everything and then he even helps the evil person defeat the good person while thinking it's reverse, what a moron lol. I'm ranting since I've just finished it again so giving my thoughts again as if I had watched it for the first time since it has been 2 years, and I'm also reminiscing, this is still one of my all time favourites and it's still incredibly underrated and should have well over 8 on here.
Is there a lot of romantic scenes in this drama? Looking for a good chinese drama w chemistry & happy ending ..
Yes there is a lot of romance, I mean the drama is a love story after all lol and it does have a happy end at least the second ending those, this drama has 2 endings, so watch episode 29 instead of 28, just skip 28, 29 is the same thing just with a different ending, a much logical and happier end.
why you hating on her? her actions are always justified
When was I hating on her? I gave some criticism towards her character and said she has improved in recent episodes and I don't think her actions were justified really, she was extremely over the top and raising her voice all the time for no reason in the earlier episodes which I have a right to find annoying but like I said she has gotten a lot better and I don't mind her now. I normally like most drama female leads but this one takes some getting used to but it's fine, none of this is hating at all.
Just re-watched this for the 3rd time, and I have to lmao at some of the reviews, this is literally one of the best dramas there is, one of the most imaginative and some of the best writing, don't blame your lack of understanding because of not paying full attention to "bad writing" the writing is amazing, almost everything is explained and tied up, I watched this when it was airing and had no trouble understanding anything, they even explain and recap at the start of each episodes to help you not get confused lol. Last year this was rated 8.9/9 and it should have stayed that way. There is not one boring moment in all 16 episodes, in fact this is one of those rare dramas that would have suited having more episodes.
Really enjoying this, the writing is really good and the story is very unique, why aren't more people watching it? The only bad thing I have to say is that the main female is quite annoying and this is coming from someone who nearly always likes the female leads, but from episode 10 onward she is a lot better so it's not too big of a deal.
Just thinking about and when the girl asks Hiroto why he liked Sakura so much, he said because she has a beautiful heart and honestly that's so touching, that's the highest compliment anyone can give you.
I have enjoyed this drama (mainly the main couple and both their characters) even with the sloppy writing, but it would have been so much better if it went with a more mature approach rather than a teenybopper one.
Some behind the scenes photos from the last episode are hinting towards a happy ending which I mean is good in a sense because I think he deserves a happy ending but If it's true I think it's a cop out, him dying would have a lot more meaning and would have done some good to the bad writing and it would have stayed with the original and it would have went better in my opinion.
I wrote the subtitles file!! It's my first movie subbing project :) Download the .srt file from https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c_ES1Bxuxa2Ebr-AHtBAJPiW2-CfUKhx/view?usp=sharingEnjoy!!…
Thank you so much! I was beginning to think it would be never subbed, much appreciated!
I definitely didn't feel the same as many here, thought it was obvious who she was going to end up with lol I mean they were together for majority of the drama so why would she end up with someone else, it tried towards the last few episodes to make you wonder who but she only had feelings for Hiroto not the other guy so..... lol I don't get what they were trying to do. What's with the Hiroto hate, the poor guy just wasn't into love so he played around and someone he feels indebted too asked him to seduce a woman and he did it and really fell in love with her, it's not that bad people. He was sincere with her from like episode 3 onward and they were super cute.
Character wise besides Ting Jun and Fei Shaung, I disliked Hue Zhen , I thought he was so annoying, always running his mouth without understanding anything and he always messed up everything and then he even helps the evil person defeat the good person while thinking it's reverse, what a moron lol.
