As usual people are so biased when it comes to an actress they don't like, if you don't like her acting then leave, no one is forcing you to watch something with her in it I don't particular like any actors in this but who cares.
The epilogue in the Parallel episode is better but still unsatisfying, stupid open ending, THEY DESERVED A FULL…
I agree with you, I definitely think it is the continuation of the end, it's just they wanted more to purchase it on Hulu as they knew people would want to see the end enough to purchase, the official Instagram did say it's one year after the main story so.
I know T-T I said that same thing till I saw the parallel epilogue but still wished they tied all the loose ends…
I definitely think the epilogue in the Parallel episode is the real ending, they just put in on Hulu so people would have to pay to watch it because they knew many would want to see the ending after the ending of the main.
One of the reviews above saying that the main actor was just not right for the role, I highly disagree, he was the most suited Naoki out of every version, and I felt their chemistry from the get go.
I wish it was a TV drama, I absolutely loved this trilogy. They are perfect for the role. We need another movie…
I totally agree, honestly even though It Started with a kiss is my favourite version, the Naoki and Kotoko in this were the most perfectly suited, they were so like their manga counterparts, more than any of the other, would have loved a drama of this, or even another film showing their honeymoon.
I know that was ridiculous lmao Otaro goes from a scum womanizer to a selfless saint apparently, but the parallel…
http://yamazaki-kento.com/news/the-real-ending-is-in-todome-no-parallels-final-episode/ I know it doesn't actually say it's part of the main, but it does seem to say it takes place a year after the main story which is good enough especially since it's continued on from the main story unlike all the other episodes that were just a parallel to what was happening, I definitley think it's mean to be seen as an epilogue but even then I still find it unsatisfying lol. I think it was put in the parallel episode so people would have to pay to watch it on Hulu as they were probably trying to get more to watch it, that's my guess anyway. It should have been in episode 10 of the main show anyway, they should have concluded it right, I'm so pissed.

True that it isn't the main show but the official instagram and twitter said it's the real ending to it ^^ I think they put it in the side series just to get people to watch it on Hulu, maybe it wasn't as watched as the series etc, just a guess.
I'm angry that they make it seem like Saiko and Hasebe could date in the future ò.ó
I know that was ridiculous lmao Otaro goes from a scum womanizer to a selfless saint apparently, but the parallel ending showed if nothing else that she wouldn't be with Hasebe since they show Saiko and Otaro's relationship from the get so to I guess start over from scratch.
There are so many easy ways they could have given this a happy ending, but of course Japanese and their life lessons, they could have just made it 7 days in the past the same as Saiko's or they could have kept it like 3 months and so he could have just waited 2 months and then went back so that her memories wouldn't be gone etc. honestly lots of different things they could have done but instead they go for what they did, even if they did the same they could have at least given them a proper conclusion where it's shown they start again, not only hint at it in a parallel episode. They deserved happiness. I'm more angry than sad.
Thanks for replying me lol. I think the ending wasn't so bad at all.
I know, sorry I had a lot of replies so I didn't see all of them at first ^^ well maybe you might like the ending but majority will be unsatisfied I think.

I think it says something along the lines of the last parallel episode is the story of the main story one year later.
