What I said was that I wouldn't call her love "real" because she doesn't know the real him, he is faking everything with her, he doesn't have any bit of sincerity with her, it's all about her money, I'm not doubting her love is real but that it's real for the character he is playing, that's what I'm saying, she just fell into it way to fast with him, she wanted to marry a guy she didn't even date or really get to know so while I feel bad for her that everyone is using her, she was obviously very naive in the situation, that's all I mean, while I agree on the fact she likes him, but I can't call her feelings wholeheartedly because she doesn't actually know him, everything he has said to her has been a lie, and while I agree you don't need a reason to love someone, you do need to know them to love them, if she finds out everything about who he really is and still feels the same then I'll agree she does, but right now she knows nothing about him. The reason I mentioned her liking her brother first is because this showed how fickle her feelings were, she confessed to him and then like an episode later she was in love with Otaro or at least the facade he is playing. Her character is very easily led, I like her but she should be more aware given the status she has (being very rich and an company heir).

And at the end of episode now, him saying "I can't be happy without you" CRIES.

I remember Otaro saying in one of the episodes that he has never lost his head over a woman or alcohol and all I can think while watching episode 9 is that he has officially lost his head over a woman, cries, let the OTP be happy.

That's good to know! haha I thought people would get sick of seeing my username all over the page here haha but I'm addicted and I agree, it's great seeing more who are just as invested, like I have been watching other dramas but my mind is still completely on this and I'm so nervous over the end! let's all hope for a happy end! I feel you, I'm probably going to re-watch all the episode Friday night to get ready for the finale lol.

I would hold out for another film too but i don't think these films did too well at the box office so they probably wont :( which is a shame, these two were perfect as Kotoko and Naoki.

Well honestly I don't think Mikoto really loves him, how can she? she doesn't even actually know him, she just knows the character he created to play women and not to mention she apparently liked her brother for a while and then suddenly liked Otaro, I think she obviously deserves a happy ending too, but like she rushed into this with Otaro, she was going to marry a guy she barely knew and people warned her he was only after her money so she's a bit clueless and brought it on herself, but I have no doubt she will get a happy end.

Apparently in the episode 10 preview there is something about Otaro dying so basically we have to worry about both of them dying lol.
The only way for this to end is for them to finally be happy, I mean wasn’t that what the story was about? they both thought each other that being happy is okay, they don’t need to suffer anymore over the guilt from his brother dying, they both helped each other restore their life and who they really are so the only ending that makes sense is a happy one, right? lol i can’t accept any other.

What if the reason nothing happened when Saiko and the homeless guy kissed because they both have that power so it cancelled it out? Just a theory as it might explain how he knew so much about the power and the reason it didn't work at the end was because she was already dead.

Yes Harumi did have a picture of her from school, and I hope we find all that out too, although I don't think he is Otaro's brother, I have seen many say this and while I think it's a good guess, on the Japanese wiki their age is listed as the same and if he was his brother he would be a few years younger I guess but who knows.

8 is dead, hmm that's interesting, so we all seem to think somehow there will be a time leap, I hope we're all right, Saiko can't die, do you understand anything else in the trailer for next ep? like what they're talking about at the start? which it's after the wedding but Saiko is alive, maybe it's his imagination I guess.

I think the same as you both! someone must have her power and Otaro can kiss them and go back and prevent it from happening. I hope that happens.

I refuse to believe she is actually dead, that's too sad, I mean she has saved others lives so many times by going back in time, now it's her turn to get her life saved by going back in time, the fact she lost her kissing powers must mean something, that someone else has it? Episode 9 was great! I didn't understand much lol but I think I understood enough to know Otaro realized his feelings since he couldn't go through with kissing Mikoto at the wedding (which I feel bad for that girl, everyone is using her) and then Saiko protecting him, CRYING THE SCENE WAS SO SAD BUT SO BEAUTIFUL, now I hope for a happy ending, please, they've both been through enough already, leave them be happy. The thing i'm most worried about is an open end, a lot of Japanese dramas do that and I despise open ends.
