Thanks both for answering, from my understanding of watching the video it seems the main girl thinks the main guy is dead right? and there is a hint that he's still alive, that's basically it right?

This version kind of sucks, makes me wonder did a 13 year old write it, just trying to finish this for Daoming Si, he's the only reason to watch it, poor thing constantly has his heart broken by Shancai because she acts like a child. Their couple scenes are adorable but honestly they have dragged this out so much, there is no way this drama needed anything near 49 episodes, especially considering how much they left out of the story.

Can someone spoil the ending for me please, happy or sad? good wrote ending or bad?
I refuse to watch historical Chinese dramas without knowing the ending lol in serious they always have the WORST endings so must check beforehand.

I know but it shouldn't have took that long, it's real frustrating to watch and just makes it hard to root for her, you almost want Si to move on because of how she treats her feelings for him lol, in all the other versions it does not take her the whole series to come to terms with her feelings so it's annoying, I mean why did it take her so long, what was the big deal about admitting she liked him and that he is worth fighting for.

Why would you care so much about not being "rude" to someone who is extremely rude to you. Since when is bitch or old hag vulgar language or cussing for that matter? it's not like she said the F or C world, it ain't that big of deal lol.

Ikr all she does is hurt Si again and again and she didn't fight nearly as much for their love as he did, this fails in comparison to the others.

So annoyed with Shancai, she treats her feelings for Mingsi like garbage, it's only him fighting for their love all the time and in the other versions the only time we really get to see her fight back for his love is when he looses his memory and they took this out in this one lol honestly she doesn't even deserve him at this point, she keeps leading him on and kissing him but then says my feelings for you are only 10 percent of your feelings for me, what even. That might have made sense if it happened much earlier in the series like it was meant to but episode 23? they added so much filler into this but left out much of the canon story.
This version is like it's made by a 12 year old. The only good thing is Ming Si and the F4 friendship, the couple is cute but she's driving me crazy.
A seriously high budget and they couldn't do the story right.

On episode 21 and man they really dragged this version out, it's been almost a decade since I've seen the other versions but it took 9 episodes in the Japanese for her to confess and it takes her to episode 34 in this, if that isn't seriously dragged out I don't know what is, it's honestly so frustrating how she just won't admit what is obvious to everyone, that she likes him, and she's so upset when he tries dating his arranged fiance but girl I feel no sympathy for you, you asked for it, she keeps pushing him away and won't tell him how she feels and even told him he'd be better with the other girl yet keeps getting upset when he does just that. I am enjoying this for the main couple but it's just dragging so much, there was no need for all the filler. It's just so repetitive without moving forward with the plot, just continuing for the cute scenes between the main couple but damn I'm annoyed, the Japanese version is still superior.

I think he has a lot of personality.......just because he doesn't show it on his facial expressions. I for one adore his personality, he has a beautiful heart. He liked Mi Rae when everyone else called her hideous, he never saw her as anything but herself and he helped her so much without even knowing her at the start of the drama and continued to help her so much throughout, we have also seen him struggle with money and seen him jealous etc, these are all his personality. Lack of facial expressions isn't lack of personality ^^

Just want to appreciate Woo Young taking the rejection like a man, a good majority of second leads normally cling on even when the girl obviously does not like them and I honestly find that both frustrating and pathetic but he took it like a man, he confessed and accepted she didn't feel the same and is prepared to move on. I knew I liked him.

Can Soo Ha get a life, she is one pathetic chick. So far she doesn't even have a motive, it's almost as if she just wants to mess with and manipulate anyone who has something, as if she just wants to take it away from then even though she doesn't want it herself.

You saying they can't resist the need to think women need to be pretty, oh please as if men in Korea don't receive similar pressure, men in Korea get as much plastic surgery, the pressure is put on everyone in Korea, regardless of gender and don't act like women don't judge guys on appearances too because we all do, women call men ugly and fat just like men do about women, I hate when people try to paint all woman as victims and all men as perpetrators, if you think majority of men are sexist then you yourself might be sexist towards men, but in regards to solely Korea obviously yes sexism is still a problem there but it most certainly is not one of the worst. Any guy who treats women like a lot of the guys in this drama are assholes who need to be stopped but again majority of men are not rapists or treating women like garbage, generalizing men is just a really dumb thing to do.
I don't even know why these "arguments" are taken place because I essentially agree, I think this drama is doing a wonderful job and is bringing issues that are still present in Korea to light, the only things I disagree with is saying majority of men are like that or saying Korea has some of the worst sexism in the world because it does not.

So because crimes like that happen there you're saying all men there are sexist and believe in patriarchy? first off I never claimed there was not sexist men in Korea in fact the opposite, I said it was not as advanced with equality like the Western world, that is acknowledging that it still has problems with equality obviously, in fact I think Korea has a lot of issues in general but you're clearly just demonizing all men, you're even saying western men are very sexist too, that is not true at all, obviously there is sexist western men but it is not something accepted anymore in the western society, women have equal rights as men in every western country. All I said was Korean men are not as bad as this, in this almost every guy is an asshole, Also I'm not using drama or kpop, I'm using my experiences in Korea and I fail to see how either of those things have to do with defending men from generalization.

Yes and that's horrible, places like China and south east Asian countries seem to still have a lot of sexism which is unfortunate, but in regards to talking about women's appearances and body, us women are just as guilty of that too. Thankfully my country is very equal.

I was on about the western world, hence why i said I have to remember that this is set in Asia, but if you actually go to Korea they are not as sexist as this, equality is not as prevalent as in the Western world for sure but Asian countries like Japan and Korea are not that bad, this makes it seem like every 4 out of 5 guy is a piece of shit. I mean have you yourself experienced sexism to this degree on a daily basis in Korea? Korea in general put extreme pressures on both men and women, also I fail to see what divorce has to do with sexism? It's not "watching too much dramas" it's called not generalizing all men. I'm only stating this, I'm not even saying it negatively about the drama, I think it's great and I think it's good to bring these situations to light in countries that still suffer with these things. All I meant was not all men are predators and not all women are victims or kind for that matter which Soo ha is a good representation of that. Women in real life and in this drama also judge guys on their appearances, it's not just a male thing, men are objectified too.

The amount of sexist men in this drama though, majority of men are not actually like that at all, but I have to remember it is in Asia. Though in this they're portraying men objectifying women only but Korean men are just as objectified as women there in different ways, I mean just look at the kpop, the whole industry is build on selling their appearances, both men and women, I mean BTS have taken over the world and you have lustful girls only seeing them as meat and yearning for them all around the world, I've seen people say some really crude things about them too, it's the same thing. Men face a lot of issues too and this is only portraying them as the perpetrators, but overall loving this drama, and obviously great to see the women stand up for the injustices, and her wanting to die because of how ugly she is is something i severely relate too so I was in tears, poor girl.
On the other hand Kyung Suk is a beautiful soul and I want him.
