hi! just watched this series and hopefully I can give you a little insight !
this series is sweet but very classical in the BL genre. no amazing performance or crazy visuals, it’s easy to watch when turning your brain off.
still, thankfully, it’s not falling too much into some of the usual problematic BL tropes. lots of cliche happenings tho. lots of miscommunication. If you don’t like overly dramatized plots, or simple university plots I wouldn’t recommend this for you. There are some interesting twists to the story, and surprisingly consistent and likable characters overall. So I’d say, not a bad series, but do not watching expecting to be surprised or highly entertained. It’s simple, efficient and sometimes a bit fast. It’s a true middle ground to those shorter Korean BL series (sprinkled with lots of good chemistry kissing).

Nevertheless a very nice drama, still pretty enjoyable! amazing fight scenes for sure. The bromance was so intense I almost expected a post credit scene at the end of ep8 of them getting married. The matching red shorts and shirts were only the beginning to such a deep bond... :')

Cleansing the comments a bit! This show is a gem !! Binged it and went through all sorts of emotions in the best way possible. I watched it while it was coming out in 2020 and I still think about it to this day.
I discovered First in this drama too , and have been following him every since. Every actor does a fantastic job and the story is very well crafted. I truly recommend it ! Don’t let yourself be influenced by the negative comments.
The topic is heavy and the series is a comedy and a tragedy. Be aware of it and you’ll have a wonderful time.
Is this a BL ? Are Kim and Way couple? Will they end up together in the end?
It’s partially BL but it’s mixed , Kim and Way are not officially a couple but stuff happens. I won’t spoil the ending tho because it’s more complicated than that. It’s a bittersweet ending tho but it depends on how you want to look at it
i have this thing where I like to watch really bad rated drama for the fun of it: let me tell you this one is not here to disappoint! It's so bad I think I never watched something this boring and silly at the same time. I wonder who forced the screenwriter to make this because there is no words to describe how truly bad this is. Nothing to help it, the actors are??? not good, the visuals and colors are literally black and white at how little saturation there is, the music and sound is badly managed you can just laugh in intense moments. The plot is very toxic wtf is Day doing??? got me feeling bad for Itt! yes he is a bit dumb but he doesn't deserve what's happening to him. The univers is inconsistent, it's like the writers couldn't pick a genre. Cars, business, cakes, Jealousy, hospital, racing, what's next? Music? are they gonna play guitare in the next episode? Anyways I had a good laugh at first and it got pretty boring. Entertaining and headache inducing. Good if you wan't to remind yourself that thankfully there are better stuff than this being produced nowadays. Please don't ever think this show is showing you normal behaviors or logical situations. I hope you never thought that while watching because I'd be concerned for you. Anyhow, have a good day!
