I'm getting upset... tbh I didn't think that the series was going downhill , I was rooting for them even in this ep and I absolutely still love their chemistry. But this last ep left me with a lukewarm feeling. until now they kept surprising me with the way they handled their problems, but this time not so much. Pran wanted to call his mom, not really come back, and Pat didn't give in at first and they didn't even talk about it on the beach, Pran just had to let go of all he wanted for Pat and I don't Like this dynamic. I would've thought that Pat would've understood this or at least they would've talked it out. The ending was really beautiful and even tho they didn't really discuss parents stuff I do understand that they had to comeback and have a talk with their parents. However their homes shouldn't stay as they were before they left, life shouldn't go on as if they never left and the parents didn't reflect on what happened. That's why I'm upset. I read some comments on here and I went to watch the teaser for the next ep (which I never usually do). And I really feel like crying. I just don't understand why they would've to breakup? their relationship doesn't do any harm and the problem comes from their parents, not them? I'm just very upset that they would have to breakup and that we would get a time skip last episode for the conclusion of their beautiful story. I understand the "right person wrong time" scenario but this time I would really not get it if their parents would just have not reflected on what happened and it wouldn't have consequences on their lives other than " breakup my son".
I feel disappointed but I hope next week will at least be less worse than I worry it might be. after all Bad Buddy always surprised me by avoiding cliche where I less expected it. Overall I believe for proper development the series should've been either 1: longer or 2: be developed in 2 seasons instead of one. So much things left to discuss and they would've had way much more time to deal with this family situation other than "time skip".
this is absolutely amazing I love this show so much so far I can't wait for the next ep! the writing flows so perfectly and its very well constructed as well as the natural of the dialogues and how natural their relationship appears!
saw a lot of comment saying they think pil do's death was unnecessary but im not sure about that: if they wanted jiwoo to really go crazy I think it had to be the last stepping stone to her actually becoming a monster and killing moo jin
Btw i saw it and I think the reviews are not super reliable because the drama itself is really good. The acting the music and the production is great, and the story is really interesting, even more when you discover it as you watch. Ofc it is sad and some people were apparently not ready for this, but as the show progresses it gets deeper smoothly and even if the plot twist is a surprise it’s not totally out of context, so it makes sense. The romance between kim and way is well managed and their dynamic is just not cheesy as most BLs are so people may find it disappointing but I thought is was pretty realistic. Their relationship get unwrapped toward the end and it is very sweet and natural. Ofc there are some flaws but overall I think people are overreacting bcs of the sad plot and not giving objective opinions. It is worth watching and very funny as well, you could watch it and make your own opinion on the show instead of missing out bcs of others opinions. (Sorry for my English btw)
I don't know what happened with de director? but I follow Teerapat and he did promote the series during a week so that's why I said that. Could you tell me what happened?
