I don't like big age gaps as they romanticise power imbalance that such relationships often have (gruesome statistics show that women have bigger chance of being murdered by their SO the bigger the gap is). There are some Asian with bigger than 10 years gap (I might be mistaken as I haven't seen them): Pornogrpher and 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us.

And you are right about the drunken SA portrayal. So what if they are "agreeing" - the sober one should have enough character to just put them to sleep. Sometimes the consent is doubtful because they are both not sober but mostly it's one of them (I just couldn't with History4 step-bros where afterwards big bro was spiraling because he thought that he SA his bro, so he asked his friends and they said that since big bro was bottoming then he did not asoult his bro... it was the younger bro who asoulted drunk older bro! That was however not even considered 😒).

IMO it's not dub-con for 2nd couple: he was (almost black out) plastered and the other was sober. That's SA.

I liked 2nd couple more than 1st but I have to warn you: 🚨spoiler🚨 one from 2nd couple basically SA the other (one was sober and the other was plastered), so not the best relationship.

And also the contrast when it came to actual flooding of the house. Ex was like: "deal with it!, it inconveniences me, where is food?, bye!" (and it was ex's cat's fur that caused the issue!) Kenji actually bought tube in case something like this happens again and was totally chill about it (excluding the being jealous of ex part 🤣), he also contributes to house chores and sometimes even cooks for them both.
I think most telling was Shiro's thoughts about his ex not having work on weekend - you could tell he annoyed him. I think even if Kenji had Saturday's off they would happily cook, clean and eat together.

I must say Ai Di is my favourite - little spitfire with big heart. Side note: the wig he was using while being undercover was hideous but he was still 🔥

The question is if a person truly wants to change. Top was actually making amends (and haven't shown video of RaySand). Mew got a chance to be pay Boston back (with the video) and choose not to. Ray decided to get help with his drinking and to generally work on himself. Sand is still a bit to soft towards people he cares/cared about, so he should work a bit more on setting boundaries. Nick's plan to love himself more is a good start (let's hope that he won't spy on his next partner).

I am however totally disappointed with Cheum - when she thought that her bro was SA by Boston she was more angry that he supposedly went after her bro than SA and then when Atom confessed she did nothing (at least scold your bro a bit)!
For me she and Atom were the worst.

I think Boston has a right not to change (or not want to change) - it's not like bringing single is a crime. He can have as many partners as he wants - he should just be very clear with them that it's casual (he was constantly getting Nick's hopes up).
I hope he learned not to go after his friends partners. I think that was the worst - they were friends for 4 years! Partners can come and go but true friendships can last lifetime. By going after Top he showed how little he thought about his friendship with Mew and I can understand if Mew cannot get past that betrayal.

Another solid EP! I really liked how it showed what is truly important in a relationship - considering the other person (be it by changing meals to be more healthy - *cough*bacon-in-salad*cough* - or buying tube / helping with house chores). Your other half doesn't have to be "your type" but should make you happy to be with (and in a relationship).

I think it's fine. There is reference to the movie* in EP4 but I think you can understand everything even if you haven't watched it yet.
Basically each EP is it's own closed story.

*🚨Spoiler🚨 Shiro's mom initially invited Kenji to have New Year's celebrations together again. Later the invitation was rescinded - it turns out that even though she liked Kenji, last year after celebrating New Year with him she was sick for days (due to not accepting that her son has male partner). Long story short - Shiro decided to spend New Year with Kenji and not his family (don't worry - mother was supporting his decision).

Since Sand knows Boston and how he is... perhaps he already hit on him and just Sand was not interested? (he needs a real challenge - fixer-upper for a BF 😉)

Now I am thinking Ray+Boston would give him 1st hit but the finishing blow by Sand would have been the most satisfying. Not sure if Sand can do it - he is quite weak with people he likes, so I hope any lingering affection for Boening would be gone.

HIStoty is Taiwanese series. Fan favourites are: 3 - Trapped and 4 - Make or Days Count (be warned that it's BE!). I liked 1 - Obsessed (MC goes back in time 10 years and to avoid heartbreak and death he decides never to get involved with ML - guess who gets obsessed with MC? 😏)

Taiwanese BL's are not bad (I would say quite good, actually). One of the best is We Best Love.
Now there is big hit: Kiseki - Dear To Me (they are up to EP10 out of 13, I think). I am not sure how spicy it is, as I am stockpiling EPs to do marathon.

Nah. It's not Sand's style, he was visibly not happy any time Ray was suggesting it. As for Ray - you remember how he treated "Freddie Mercury" when him and Sand were about to kiss? No way is he allowing anybody touch (or even look at) his guy 😀
