Good idea, poorly realised *sigh*. I even kinda cried when I watched "Phupha | Nanfah" but the series left me speechless. All this nonsense and uninspired plot. Full of clichés (interruption during important moments) and sometimes quite sloppy acting. What was it with Nan not replying the messages for one year (?!) and then wanting to come back earlier as a surprise? HUH?? What a lot of bs. This seemed so promising. 😞

It's nice that you like it and this is 7/10 and not 7/100. So I don't get you why 7 is supposed to be bad. It's not. Some people liked it, some didn't. No problem with that.

Right now I'm only skipping through the episodes. "I can't do that to a girl", "a tiny girl shouldn't face something so horrible"...gosh this makes me wanna puke! This should have ended after half the episodes. But this was based on a book, right? They should have changed a few more things but well :/. Won't watch the mother series and the sequel I guess.

To be honest, I don't want anybody to get to debut with K-Soul and even though I wish for Santa to be able to fulfil his dream...not with this group. Myungjae deserves better as well. I hope the best for the group but I really can't stand K-Soul's attitude.

Being 9 episodes in, I not only find the cut and story problematic at times. The choice of music suggests that all characters are kinda okay with the situation when they clearly aren't. Spiking another person's drink isn't funny so why choosing some cheesy "romantic" music while the girl tries to abuse Farm? That was quite disgusting to be honest. The group of three girls is very problematic in general but I'll see where this will go.

I'm sorry if I'm crossing a line here. As much as I understand that bullying is out of line in any way and that it's even worse that it happened to an autistic child: what now? It's good that the victims finally dared to speak up. I don't know if the involved parties could solve the issue peacefully but I wonder now what the public wants.
I am really serious in this issue. It's probably already quite hard for the victims so I don't think they might want this issue to boil up. Right now I'm trying to figure out though what the public wants now. They are not involved and they can just boycott his work, no? I don't know Ohm personally. I don't know how or IF he changed. If he changed and apologised wholeheartedly and the other party has accepted it (accepting doesn't mean forgiving and that's nothing that you can expect if one suffers from trauma), the thing is over in my opinion.
Some might argue now "are you supporting a bully?!". How so? I don't know of course how he's doing now. He tried to calm down the situation as quickly as possible but doesn't he have the right to do so? There's been so much drama lately and fans from so many actors are going wild. I'm not personally or emotionally involved in these people thus my question: what else do people want from him?

So....everybody hating this because of what Ohm did in the past? Or am I missing something? So he was a bully when he was younger, apologised and...then? Maybe I'm really missing something but that's not the reason why Ohm and Nanon don't seem to get along these days and people seem to make him accountable for this "bad" relationship now. Thus hating on everything he participates in seems a bit petty to me. Or did he do something extremely outrageous?

For the BB x 1000 crossover: I really like it! The first episode was a little bit dull but I like this kind of combination. I wished that Phupha would have lost some of his stubbornness so that those two were finally able to properly talk things out. Not talking is a killer for me in any series but well...I still like these two ^^°.

I've only managed to watch two episodes (I was tired; otherwise I would have watched more xD) and I'm already loving it! I love heavy story-driven series 💕. That plus BL is the best combination. I know that I can't expect much intimacy but I am always melting if there are hints ^^.

I haven't watched it yet (will start it now though ^^) but I wonder the same when thinking about Word of Honor. Now I'm curious what this series will serve me ;).

I'm about halfway through ep 9 and the way this show is cut is going beyond my comprehension. People here mention that some of those guys can't even speak basic Korean but how do you know when the show doesn't even show the guys at all? That they aren't fluent is obvious. Otherwise they wouldn't express their feeling in English, Thai or Japanese. But we can't judge on their basic Korean skills. We don't see them study and iirc, even in iLand they've shown the guys study Korean. Some of the contestants here are completely shut out so all that they can hope for is that fans vote for them only based on their performance. I feel so mad about it! I have some favourites and I want their dream to come true but....somehow this doesn't feel right :(.

So sad for him. Wish he'd have the chance to debut under a different company 😢

And please without K-Soul :(?

The PD's even voiced their concern about K-Soul but he's one with the most screen time. Probably because of exactly that reason? I'm really sorry boy, if you will ever read my comments but PD nim's were right when they said that and idol should be able to contain their anger to a certain degree. In my opinion he just doesn't seem to be ready yet to be in an idol group.

The thing is that I understand her intentions but not her actions. People like her existed in my parent or grandparent generation. So there were some things that I experienced just as Kang-Ho did. But this series makes it look as if he forgives her because he saw her "good intentions". Ep 10 has also shown that he is hurt nonetheless. Thus I might be wrong with my conclusion. The mom went through a lot and that's really bad but I wonder why she went from a caring mother, who praised his son when he was young, to an abusive parent. That's the only thing I cannot understand. I even am capable of accepting that it's still a thing to marry off your kid. But not the abusive part.

I get this feeling as well. To me, ML's mother is still bad. First he was supposed to become a prosecutor. Now that she knows that he put himself in danger, he pushes him into another direction. Of course he's not in any position to decide for himself. But what annoys me quite a bit is how the situation was watered down in ep 9 (I use the words of somebody else who commented here). Just because he saw that his mom quietly kept his drawings etc. is enough reason for him to forgive her? So he thinks "she did the beating and shouting for a reason"? I think not. I HOPE not! Because it's still not right especially the situation with Mijoo when she was involved in that accident. I'd cut my mother off willingly because that was the last straw. You treat me like crap for what? But yes, Westerners might definitely think otherwise about all this.

I think the only big thing that annoys me by now is the constant lies being told to the kids. Especially who their dad is. They're introduced to somebody who isn't their father instead of just saying "I don't know" or anything else that's less harmful than this. I think it has to do with "losing face" (telling that Mijoo was in the US and has a husband) but I don't understand this mindset. SK is probably not the only country with it but....it's weird. Especially when I see it in younger people/people in their mid 30's. It just goes beyond my comprehension.

I want the full soundtrack for MSP! I immediately was jamming along. I love the swap and I love that TiwPor got more attention and that it's made clear that they are dating. I wanted that confirmation in the original series but was kind of let down. For me this is a continuation of getting my heart transformed into chocolate so that it can easily melt away 🥰

My reaction was slow. I saw his side-profile and wondered what young man was sitting there. While having that thought, it immediately went to "Kim Jiwoong?!". It's only a bit sad that he wasn't shown properly. I hope he'll be shown again ^^. But seriously: his "dad" could be his "grandfather".

Right in the feels! Dedicated to somebody who inspired them to create Phupha? This is really sad! I hope for that person to reach their light in the end and am looking forward to the series (even though I'm a bit late).
