Sorry, but at this point, how can anyone defend Book’s acting in this series?Ray was very clearly confessing…
Book hasn't improved much since Enchante and Boss and babe, it's not just him though, I find Top to have the same issues. In any show, he vacillates between two expressions. In this one he's gone for "frown before a smile" and a smile.
They lack nuance and it's not always that obvious because they've so far been paired with each other. You notice it even more in the tub scene because Khaotung's acting breaks your heart and then you're gauging Book's response in the role and it's just so mundane in comparison
Only Friends is actually really well written, they add all these little details that, despite how otherwise cliched it is, make the story more cohesive. There's some psychology behind every damn move the characters make.
Top saying that people always preserves booth photos. Boston does. Boston refusing a photo because he knows how much a power a photo can hold.
The poor boy tshirt keeps making an appearance.
Nick, with his body image issues has to face his fear everytime Boston tells him to stay pretty and sweet.
Also, Mew is really just innocent 😭
Although not very lovely, this series is totally about love. Not just the kind to stay away from, but what our acceptance of such love does to us. Falling in love with shitty people sucks, you either hurt like hell or you get dragged down to their level.
I just want to say that your comment is absolutely valid, there are way too many "comment section police" on MDL…
Of course you are, but the sarcastic phrasing of your opinion invalidates Synchonicity's when they were themself merely doing the same. There's no bar on the kind of comments we post, but some basic courtesy doesn't hurt and goes a long way in maintaing MDL for what it's meant to be, to share opinions
I've been watching the uncut version and I was wondering –since none of the scenes were superfluous in the uncut, each were important to the flow of the story or established a plot – what were the scenes being cut out?
In episode 3, they've cut out a scene prior to Jom meeting FongKaew at the pond. Although it's a comparatively insignificant scene, it aids the flow of the story and helps us understand why Jon ran to meet her.
The lesbian storyline with Maey and Pueang have been completely cut out. And they're so sweet and beautiful it's a shame to miss out on them
I'd definitely recommend the uncut version on yyds channel over the cut i.e., tv versions
It's kind of awesome to think that we might have had a past life in which we got to beat up our ex and saw them getting as emotionally damaged as us but in fact the drama is pushing the opposite message. How we set up a relentless cycle of hate and hurt which is everybody's as well as nobody's fault. (It's still a cool thought though).
The direction is definitely superb because every actor shines in this.
I don't think the lesbian storyline in this will get a lot of minutes, but it's just right enough. I ship them so hard ♥️
This is whizzing out like a fizzy already... Episode 3 was quite anticlimatic after the events of ep 1.
I think it would've been a better decision to tone down the violence in ep 1, because Kanghan in ep 3 is almost a different person from that in episode 1. He was so merciless towards Euro, I can understand going from "giving money to get my homework done" to "I'm misunderstood" but not from the boy Kanghan was in ep 1.
Playing the ost intermittently and an umbrella reveal can't be the beginning of a romance, especially considering how much they loathed each other
Alternatively, they should've continued with the hatred till atleast episode 4. Its doesn't even have to be "hatred", just Sailom working on breaking down Kanghan's walls would've been a smoother transition. I was seriously confused whether I'd missed an episode.
I'm trying to reign in my disappointment but this is not meeting the expectations set by the first two eps.
Ep 3 was weak.Disappointing, because Eps 1 & 2 looked like this was heading to be a masterpiece series. Nine more…
I just want to say that your comment is absolutely valid, there are way too many "comment section police" on MDL with a degree in not being able to handle alternate opinions, especially not "negative ones", like the ones who've replied to with "suggestions" to you to drop the series. Such childish behaviour, but not surprising
There parents die while they were still in debt so all debt transfer to Sailom and Saifah.
It hasn't been stated in the series yet (pretty sure it isn't in the trailer, might've been in the original teaser), but that's usually how it is (in these shows). It doesn't need much of an explanation and the kids are left with a burden they didn't even incur

Maybe he has gay dads ;)
Tldr; definitely watch uncut

That scene where boss walked in though 😌🔥
