I feel like people need to be less desperate for the romance. Okay I get it is a romance but it's also depicting…
I'm all for taking it slow. I'm glad that Jeng didn't assign Pat on a project to work with him in an effort to get close to him. He's letting him fledge out, giving him opportunities.
That's a good person right there and he's not doing it out of love but this is the sort of kindness which can bloom into love (the only sort of office romance I'll whole heartedly support ππΌ cannot stand bosses and teachers acting like perverts, have had too much experience to take it as a joke)
Hm, 7.7. For me that's a high rating but I know how it works on mdl.
Airing bl dramas tend to have a rating above 8.0 or at max a 7.9. I think the goey icky cute bls (Boss and a Babe, as an example) evoke a certain emotion in watchers and so they rate it high. Give them something more mature and suddenly they gon rate it "objectively". Boss and babe has another added advantage that since a lot of viewers are against it, the ones who are loving it feel the need to rate it higher than they would.
Just for the record, I'm not complaining about Boss and Babe having a 8.3. Just wondering why a show like Step by Step which hasβ 1. Good acting 2. Boss not acting like a perv who's horny for the intern 3. Really good aesthetics (omg have you SEEN the ambience and colours, WOW) 4. Real office stuff seamlessly woven into the story
βhas a rating six decimals below a show which lacks all of these aforementioned points. (You could argue me on point 1 but I'm really not looking for an argument and I recognise that point 1 is an objective opinion with bias for or against).
I got confused by episode 10. He tells the woman at the restaurant (you know, jh's friend) that he's "like this…
Yeah, like it's meant to be a joke. I have to re-watch ep 1 since jh has accused him of pretending not to have a lighter just to get close to him (but i do think he genuinely didn't have a lighter, it's one of those "i know that happened" but it actually didn't xD)
Is he 30 yet? He's a junior/senior in college, with maybe a year missing because of military. That should just…
I got confused by episode 10. He tells the woman at the restaurant (you know, jh's friend) that he's "like this in his thirties" smth like that. I think he's like 28, 29 and calling it thirty (in an almost thirty sense). I think I've written thirties somewhere in this review but i just can't find it π (I'm actually sick, the letters are a blur rtnw... god knows how many typos there are)
The editing was at times truly painfulβfr, i never really got past those openings XD
Sometimes one person stops for a moment. Sometimes one person picks up the pace leaving the other behind.βthis is perfect, this was essentially what jh was telling jw in that scene in episode 10 w the walking backwards and forwards
Pilot looks good. The messy politics of your homophobic parents killing your boyfriends π€·π½ββοΈ i didn't understand much except that their are certain parallel things happening but I'm interested in the series
I couldn't stop laughing when he ate the croissant with a fork and knife...
I'm sure he did it only because he was in Jeng's presence. Did you see how he eats at home though π€¦πΎββοΈ and with his friends too, sharing the same spoon π
But i love seeing healthy appetites on screen, actually i just love people finishing the food in dramas than leaving the plates all full (at least make the effort to cut the shot and throw the food out... because i know that realistically actors can't keep eating during the shoot)
I really liked this documentary so I saw a few interviews of Li Weiyi and realised that there's a tiny detail…
Hi, can you please explain what you mean by "she scratched her own skin up before death"? Are you perhaps saying that the wolf somehow realised she was being hunted for her fur and so deliberately ruined her skin?
Beautiful. Absolute beautiful documentary. It truly shows that humans and animals are not so different. Really…
On the contrary it shows that humans and animals are very different. A predator like Green despite his bloody hunts, is kinder than the humans who killed his parents just for the sake of fur and teeth to boast of. This was the central theme of the movie in my opinion
Being a small production can only give it so much leeway. There are several small and even debut productions who…
Exactly what I feel. The closest comparison would be β₯75Β°c which is small, but it atleast felt fluffier than this. You're the cream in my coffee lacks heart
I'm afraid to rate this, while i am aware that it's a small gl production and all that, the overall show is pretty lackluster. You're very right, it works better as a binge. The gap didn't help this show
I dunno, at least in the pilot trailer she does seem to be a large source of conflict between them. I can't stand…
Okay, yes I'm pissed π€·π½ββοΈ they tricked us into thinking GramxBlack (and now i learn from you that this was actually supposed to be endgame...) but 1. the whole reveal was so annoying, like really? that g was meant to be gene? r e a l l y? 2. why would you make Gram lean into White like that 3. Eugene wasn't even into him (like you said), had she even shown interest in him before Black returned, I would've been okay with it but now it looks as if the show makers wanted to make this "more realistic" and instead gave us just one couple.
I too like you am sleepy but this is a whole thing in the bl/lgbt argument, that statistically gay people are lesser so why does bl have multiple gay couples.... w h a t e v e r
Thanks for sending the fr, i wish more would be more active on feeds! We really do have fun there :) hope you'll join in some day!
