Well not puberty by age if the age statistics are anything to go by. The13-17 is very, very low (thankfully). But the ones in 18-24 age group have an extended puberty mindset maybe or rather just wish to see the "action" from first episode or at best second

So I'm not sure why Book is being called the main Main character all of a sudden but it was pretty clear to me from the teaser. He's the guy everybody is friends with and most importantly he has just one love interest. And there are many ways for actors to convey emotion without resorting to crying. Right?←fr! They shouldn't have tried to make him cry when the scene obviously isn't enough to get that out of him. I couldn't when jeng offered him tissues and i was like what for? 🤣

And the way I actually like it, it's just one of those things about comedy in "rom-com" that I like when it's done well. But he cannot cry 🤣

Jeng also lacks something I've seen in "good bosses" getting the two sides to reconcile and get his work done by them without them even knowing they're under his finger 🤣 yeah, he's old, but he's still kind of feeling his way through. Sometimes I feel that he isn't sure how to behave either

I'm all for taking it slow. I'm glad that Jeng didn't assign Pat on a project to work with him in an effort to get close to him. He's letting him fledge out, giving him opportunities.

That's a good person right there and he's not doing it out of love but this is the sort of kindness which can bloom into love (the only sort of office romance I'll whole heartedly support 👍🏼 cannot stand bosses and teachers acting like perverts, have had too much experience to take it as a joke)

Hm, 7.7. For me that's a high rating but I know how it works on mdl.

Airing bl dramas tend to have a rating above 8.0 or at max a 7.9. I think the goey icky cute bls (Boss and a Babe, as an example) evoke a certain emotion in watchers and so they rate it high. Give them something more mature and suddenly they gon rate it "objectively". Boss and babe has another added advantage that since a lot of viewers are against it, the ones who are loving it feel the need to rate it higher than they would.

Just for the record, I'm not complaining about Boss and Babe having a 8.3. Just wondering why a show like Step by Step which has—
1. Good acting
2. Boss not acting like a perv who's horny for the intern
3. Really good aesthetics (omg have you SEEN the ambience and colours, WOW)
4. Real office stuff seamlessly woven into the story

—has a rating six decimals below a show which lacks all of these aforementioned points. (You could argue me on point 1 but I'm really not looking for an argument and I recognise that point 1 is an objective opinion with bias for or against).

Yeah, like it's meant to be a joke. I have to re-watch ep 1 since jh has accused him of pretending not to have a lighter just to get close to him (but i do think he genuinely didn't have a lighter, it's one of those "i know that happened" but it actually didn't xD)

I truly felt what they felt

I got confused by episode 10. He tells the woman at the restaurant (you know, jh's friend) that he's "like this in his thirties" smth like that. I think he's like 28, 29 and calling it thirty (in an almost thirty sense). I think I've written thirties somewhere in this review but i just can't find it 😂 (I'm actually sick, the letters are a blur rtnw... god knows how many typos there are)
