In the few moments I watched before dropping. My fave (JCW) looked manly but his voice sold him out. No roughed up person sounds like him. They should have dubbed his voice to sell the look.

A good production or storyline doesn’t need explicit sex scenes and nudity.
When the storyline is not good enough, your brain cells and reasoning gets killed by excitement of nudity and sexual scenes. From there reasoning goes off the window.
A lot of people loving this series are talking about the chemistry not the story itself. They’ve reduced a historical figure who fought wars to chemistry.
