It was my first Chinese drama, I saw in comments from a Korean drama, from a person who also got tired of American produced.

So I’ve been watching their historical dramas (adult version, not too much fantasy).

I really love their approach in storytelling, with many quotes from strategy books that apply today.

Cool! He’s the first king who got rid of the word king to emperor and didn’t have an empress in real life as in the drama. The FL part was for ratings and to dramatise the show. He united the countries mentioned in the drama.

I hope there’s a season 2 about the story.

All those platforms are American and they have seen the buzz and now are polluting it😭

I’ve taken a break from Korean shows of late and especially produced American platforms. They intertwine everything with s*x and nudity but no essence, even their thrillers are just bloody no essence.

I’ve been watching Chinese historical dramas as a result, and rewatch the old Korean dramas that are attracted me.

Personally, I like to enjoy the story more (to learn and be inspired) than romance and have romance as an add on, but not the focus on especially in thrillers.

I’m just generally curios, as it was my first time seeing people on this platform more interested in kissing and intimate scenes more the story itself. It’s shocking for me.

Netflix is actually ruining the conversative side of SK entertainment. Some of us ran from watching European and American shows, because it seemed like the only thing they offered more was s*x and unstable relationships. No built up story.

He potrayef the role best, remember it’s not fiction but history. Only fiction part is the FL for viewership. Everything else was based on history. Google the king’s name and read up on it.

Hope he gets to relax, be healthy and happy.

Let’s wish him positive thoughts, for him to healthy and happy.

Let’s appreciate the work he has given us till this day, although it might have been painful for him to shoot some projects or scenes.

Let’s not be greedy and want more than the person can do, and not pressure him.

Remember that most talented actors are being replaced by idols, pretty faces with huge following, so it’s not easy for those who value quality over quantity to get best roles.

I suspect Binbin will follow too, because after Emperor’s woman his talent hasn’t been used to that extent.

I left kdramas because I was feeling sorry the actors being abused by agencies, the SK toxic media culture and toxic fans who make these guys just commodities.

I just imagined that for every great piece I watch and get inspired or just marvel in creative, the pain that the actors must have went through to produce it. Coupled with the suicides recently.

It seems all these entertainment industries are the same.

I don’t know Jeremy but liked him in his dramas, the last one felt like it was below his standards, but I enjoyed it.

Hope he gets some much needed rest and do great things in the future.

It’s always the case all most talented people. They get subpaged. Even in corporate.
