I agree, about the contact part, however, having watched his other dramas, I canāt help but think it is also a factor that producers couldnāt handle that part well. And I highly respect Allen for that. It just needs a skillful producer to appease to the āskinship/kiss and romance gangā.
When that gang is not very happy, they donāt care about the plot or storyline, they just want to feed their fantasy with kisses, so the rating goes down because there are many of them.
Already in the earlier comments they were complaining about it.

Why are they hating the FL while sheās following a script. Also her character lives in black and white world. So, itās not surprising sheās like, but they just took it too far to be palatable.

Maybe it was probably to delay many couple scenes because of Allenās no intimate contract. Other producers have been always been creative to abide by it, I think this production failed to do, and instead prolonged the misunderstanding needlessly.

And a lot of ladies wanted him to and most interviewers would ask him about it. He said he doesnāt feel comfortable with it and wouldnāt know how much he would have to give of himself and how far he would have to go.
I respected him from that day. And really he can create a romantic scene just by expression.

It canāt be easy for the actors and actresses. Now imagine how their real partners feel watching all that, even if itās curated.
