This is my Christmas story: So I came over to my dad’s to spend the holidays and needless to say Christmas morning…
Haha! K-Drama makes strange bedfellows. I’ve got some brother in laws who are closet Makjang K-drama addicts!

Nothing seems to be happening, so disappointed in season 2. I couldn't even skip seconds in the first season as…
Part 1 had a lot of filler, which everyone complained about at the time. This is actually faster paced than Part 1.

So, Jang Uk is okay with storming Cheonbugwan and going against the Royal Family because Seo Yul got hurt but…
After Naksu’s death, he was headed for the in palace, which was revolt, and a crime against the crown. Here, he is headed for Cheongbugwan which is One of the others major houses of Daeho.. It would be considered a power struggle between equal houses, but not an action against the crown, or treason.

I pray it too! I liked how they transitioned to the big tree.

How many times did viewers (or, at least folks here on MDL) say that Jin Bu-yeon didn't deserve to live/survive…
I believe it’s Naksu too, just trying to figure out the Naksu dues if JBY powers emerge. Just want my happy ending. I’ve really enjoyed the whole drama so far.

I know. Just trying to find my way to happy ending. Waiting for Cho-Yeong, if she’s show up. I’m happy with the story telling, and usually don’t try to predict, since I’m lousy at it.

That was a classical "visiting a terrifying mother-in-law" subplot 😂. No man wants to go willingly to those…
I loved how he subverted her threat to “You are putting a lot of pressure on me” to produce the heir with JBY!

We need this drama to end at least in a good note without following the trend of other dramas endings these days…
Yup, I need my happy ending. Tired of all the lame endings this year! Maybe we’ll get it since it concludes in 2023!

I am kinda sad that the creators took heo Yun OK this way she was very good in p1 even after knowing she just…
Right now her needling drives the plot. Each time she’s snippy, it propels JBYs forward progress with UK.

The saga of Jang Uk and his iconic entrance continues😂
I prefer the strut to all the pratfalls in Part 1. But I know they were to show the growth process.

He owns the “dramatic entrance” in Part 2.

Seo yul idea of killing himself with JBY is really foolish and hypocritical why was dude even think its best for…
Naksu is a soul shifter, which as a mage of Songrim is is sworn to kill for the good of the people, since she is a creation of sorcery. Because he loved her, his mission was muddied and he protected her. As a result evil was unleashed into the world at the end of episode 20. He feels guilt for not have the resolution to kill her because of his feelings.

In Part 2, before he dies, he wants to rectify his mistake of letting a soul shifter live to wreak havoc on the world and his friend. Because to kill her will break his heart, and he is dying anyway, he thinks of murder-suicide.

To me, his character has never changed, and is a result of how he was raised, as the brightest future leader to uphold mage laws.

I’m starting to lean towards the theory that Naksu will be kicked it, but enough of her memories remain, because JBY did have ties to UK. That explains the original scene where JBY pulled Naksu into her body.

However, that still doesn’t explain how Jin Mu got control of the body to go wild. And no one could have predicted Master Lee saving a petrified body.

My best guess at this point is JBY with Naksu’s face will be left standing with the priestess powers, which are needed for the plot, and tragic Naksu will be ejected.

I don’t know how we will get there, but I’m thinking that maybe CP will mature into the good ruler he was aspires to be with the wise support of Uk as Gwanji. At Cheonbugwan. Uk will be married to Jin Bu Yeon, who will be head to Jinyowan. This power couple, will protect the relics, and continue two major houses of Daeho. Maybe they will have the twins. Then Cho-Yeon will be free to marry Dang-Gu, who is very capable head of commerce for Songrim. I’m hoping Yul will survive and be head of Jeongjingak (sp?) and in charge of mage training. Hopefully, Heo Yun Ok will get her head together to be head of Sejukwon.

And I forgot to add, why did they state she was Cho-Yeong in the credits, when that persona has had no role so far. I’d just stick to Naksu and Bu-Yeon.

They had something great going, not perfect, but good... and are now throwing everything away with amnesia, love…
In all seriousness, I feel Uk has been forced to mature in this part, and every step pushes him to become responsible with his power, and not only consider his need to protect just his loved ones, but to consider the greater good. He is forced to “act with vigor” again.

He gave the gift of “King’s Star” reputation to CP, who squandered it in petty acts to get back at Uk. In the end, I’m hoping he will grow into the legacy as King’s Star, but as wise counselor to the CP when he succeeds as King. CP just needs to grow still.

Haha! CP is competing for best bro with Yul for UKs heart. I find that love triangle fabulous. CP is so petty. He’s is SML to Yul!

when he said "did u say goodbye to your husband?" man my armpit hair was on fire... really got me pissed big time...
It has to do with the fact she is a soul shifter. She is a creature of sorcery, and needs to be eliminated to protect the people. He made an exception in Part 1 and protected her. His guilt over that (heart over noble cause) has been the root of all his angst. When Naksu went wild in Episode 20, all his greatest fears came true-by allowing her to live, people died, and the world changed forever.

He wants to take responsibility in Part 2, though Uk has always said that he took responsibility. Because Yul recognized Naksu first this time, he is building up his resolution to do the right thing this time, and rid the world of another soul shifter, despite his love for her. Hence the murder-suicide plot.

He was like a birth constellation recorder, worked under Gwanju Jang Gang. Jang Gang pulled some strings to hide…
Correction. Jin Mu did not used jingle bells at that time. It’s was when Uk was born 20+ years ago. Jang Kang was the creator of those soul ejectors. He may have surged energy into Cho Chung to make him go wild, as he did to Naksu.

The Shaman Choi got involved with Ice Stone after is was recovered 10+ years ago, which is why he was able to control Naksu. She used a soul ejector created by Shaman Choi.
