Looks like Jang Uk will recognize her by the end of 6th episode... I wish that its true plzzz no more "I don't…
Itās something to do with the tree of promise. The reworked OST renamed āTreeāand being sung by HMH is being released tomorrow. Itās going to be heartrending Iām sure.
which is worse for JBY. Man is so inconsistent and keeps confusing her and subjects her to terrible mental trauma.…
Yup. And he is cautiously checking out his feelings. Because the handclaps is so personal, he checked his reaction with Kim DomJoo. Othin. Then he went back to Cho-Yeong and felt his heart flutter again, even without the supposed Jade link. And then she reveals her Tree dream, that is all hers! Who shouldnāt be confused, when for 3 years he believed she was dead, even though he prayed for a sign from his jade.
In the US west coast, Netflix usually releases the episode at 6am. I've been waking that early to watch it.
Me too. Then everybody was up early and demanding this and that, so canāt focus. Love this MDL discussion thread. I learn things I didnāt notice, spazz, and have thoughtful discussions about my favorite drama!
If you keep counting episodes left and banging your head for the memory loss drag then how are you gonna enjoy…
Yup. I think people are overthinking and using up too much emotional energy. Itās a story by the Hong Sisters. I have enjoyed the first 25 episodes and trust their story telling, and witty dialog. The director enhances the story with his vision and masterful handling of actors. Itās a respectful relationship.
He needs to fess up. Only the truth can set him free!
He realizes to get back at Uk was not worth the price to pay for killing MD, and being a the pawn of Jin Mu. He really wants to be UKs buddy. Heās just petty and vain and afraid of being mocked, as well as bing skewered by Uk now.
I have faith in his good heart. Jin Bu-Yeon vouched for him. The problem is, that his identity is the Crown Prince. He was groomed to rule. He just didnāt quite believe someone with the power of the Kings Star would not seek to overthrow and gain power.
Ok so I think youāre wrong about your views on Jang Uk part 1 to part two. Heās always been like that, remember…
Iām not sure if you are replying to me. Because the behavior you are describing is my take on blunt and honest, no matter how much it hurt.
When he reminded her that he can sell her, that was his actual position as master and he was reminding her he could do it. Her first intent was to be obedient and lay low, but her temper got the best of her. She was always arrogant and had to be reminded to lower her eyes and not glare. Real servants cannot afford arrogance. That was part of the comedy: her persona did not match the weak servant girl! Part of her growth was accepting it, and allowing herself to open up to,loving Uk, and resign herself to being powerless with him.
And when she could not unsheathed her sword, he just said she was of no use to him and to live as MD. He even offered to let her stay. She was the one who did not to live that way, and attempted suicide. When he found out she left with the sword, he want after her.
Basically, he did NOT change. Heās very blunt and oragmatic when his emotions are not in play. Even with Lady Heo. He asked if she was a creditor? Because why would he accost her? He bluntly told her it was not her beauty.
how do you guys think jang uk will find out about bu yeon being naksu...he is kind of getting the hints in the…
The clues are there, but he canāt quite believe yet. Before, she actually thought it was her priestess powers through the blue jade, confusing the issue.
I'm literally about to finish part 1 and I already can't wait start this one, to those who was there from the…
We are! But I think you had a better experience, bingeing straight through. There was too much speculation and negativity from the audience in Part 1, that was distracting. You are in for a treat with the continuation!
Did anyone else notice the preponderance of similar Womenās names? Jin Cho-Yeon, Jin Bu-Yeon, Cho-Yeong, now Kim Yeon? Ugh! Itās just a little confusing at times!
Jang UK is mean yes but he's trying to fight his profound feelings for Bu yeon, he's trying to push her away and…
He has always been brutally honest. But like in Episode 22, when he brought her home, he will treat her as his betrothed, and his household will give her kindness and care. He is emotionally isolated, but as all the story details promised, she is shining light into those dark corners.

Anywho, loving this whole drama!
