Whoooohoooo💃🏽🔮
Just want to point out, Ukie has been part of the show for 24 episodes and Naksu the character has too. I do agree that I LOVE them both in Part 2 better!

On first watch I thought he was refering to get someone to be the witness, but now I'm on my 6th or so watch and…
I agree, with a lot of this, I commented somewhere in reply to someone earlier. But part 1 he took responsibility for all her awful schemes. Like she said, “You are one lucky guy”. Whatever she did not him, he took responsibility and punishment.

Part 2, he still goes all in on his pacts. He went like a boss and declared they were married. As he told her, she wants 3 things, which he was willing to give her, freedom, and 2 other things., but NOT a true relationship. Sorry, I just woke up and coffee didn’t kick in!

In my opinion, he was giving her fair warning. Awww. Let me give you a hug!

no way. She must have a reason for saving Jang Uk, we're going to find out later, but it's not love. It's probably…
Don’t worry. A lot of people thought the same, and wove many theories and fan fics about it. There was a lot of rage, because there was an obsession about MD/BY/Naksu back story and it was resolved in a short flashback. There is confusion in Part 2, because BY’s soul is supposed to be gone for good, and Naksu-Cho-Yeong’s soul survived, in BY’s body and morphed it into her resemblance, but we are waiting for the reveal, so that UKs and Cho-Yeong’s love story can be resolved.

I don't want this to happen. He's got the turtle, it's enough :)))))))))
It would take years. Hong Sister don’t do hack, hasty scripts. And the CGI would delay the project further.. much less the difficulty of gathering the cast again.

Dr. Romantic was lucky to regather the cast for Part 2 and 3, but they had ratings in the 20s.

I agree. I think he will finally make his decision. He’s been increasingly uneasy with Jin Mu, and feeling bad about what he did to Uk. I think he will come clean (which is where that preview of Uk pointing the sword at the CP comes in) and somehow they will resolve it and move on.

'I shall always stay by your side at this distance' she said while holding his hands completely like he used to…
What is weird, she seems to quote what he said to her. It’s her memory of his words, which is sad, because it should be proof of her identity, but is confused by the possibility that the divine priestess can read the blue jade.

What is consistent is his protective mode. To get what he wanted, he confronted the Unanimous Council, declared their marriage, was going to get her out his way. She’s the one who came up with the witness.

Jang family and Kim Do Jo will help raise a baby. Remember, he was abandoned at birth and raised by a loving community.

He was really trying to tell her to not have expectations, and consider the consequences.

Yes, I agree with you. Uk is extremely pragmatic. But, he is honest. In every pact he made in Part 1, he was sincere. He is a walking shell, and she can use his body (yess, please) , but don’t expect emotion, since at that time, he was locked in grief.

Part 2 Cho-Yeong/Naksu/Bu-Yeon I love, because she is as sincere as he used to be, blurting out what is in her heart.

Having only 10 episodes of go younjung and lee jaewook's insane chemistry is a crime!
Yes, this was the partnership I didn’t know I needed. She is the kind of leading lady he needs, who can act with an intensity on par with his, and who really is in an open and transparent communication with each other to give their best to the audience. You see it in the BTS and interviews.

Yeah. At the end of the day it's personal taste. Personally I hated it and thought it was a fanservice sequel…
It’s bizarre. This is the same show. We are finally seeing the concluding chapters. If you get stuck on one actress, you are missing the point of all the hard work that went into this production by ALL actors, staff and producers. If you downgrade it, you actually end up not honoring one of the best roles that JSM had to expand her type-casting as the girl next door. Just sad.

Personally, even if I'm extremely invested in their relationship, I think Jang Uk became hell of a manipulator.…
He learned from his master. Did you see all her ploys in Part 1?

The Hong Sisters strength is the dialogue. They are known for the swift wit and rapid back and forth as was shown…
I actually like JSM a lot. I really liked her reality show “In the Forest” with the kids. That’s where she really shined for me. I followed her because of BTIMFL and MFIS. You are right. Last years’s Monthly Home Magazine was pretty bad.

I was so grateful she stepped in to replace the original FL sothe project would not be delayed further. She had to go straight into filming in September right after the other show wrapped up. I felt for her because she must have been exhausted. I think this was a great role for her career.

As for the storytelling, this is a 30 episode drama by the Hong Sisters. Their writing is much richer tandoori dialog heavy than most writers and they can meander. I am impressed with the director, because he has woven the elements masterfully and Part 2 is the payoff. I hope they stick the landing!
