I also think it was a drunk kiss. Don't hate me for thinking like that. But remember at S1, Ukkie was drunk after…
That was a brilliant explanation! I’d forgotten that! I trust the writers. Both LJW and GYJ seem satisfied with their work. The cast is not trying as hard to be cagey, because the biggest twist was episode 20, and it was spoiled very early in the broadcast.
Am i the only one having difficulty connecting to the new FL?
I feel bad for you. Why is it that you can’t connect? The MD character is done. The persona was to hide that she is Naksu. In Episode 20, they spectacularly exposed her identity, so she can no longer hide anywhere with that face. Coming back as assassin Naksu caused devastation and profound change in all of the characters.
Part 2 is 3 years later, as the mages grow into their adult selves. In a clever twist, the new face of Naksu is the original face of Naksu, and GYJ is killing it. To continue the love story of Naksu/Cho-Yeong and Uk, we have to examine what is the soul? How do Uk And Cho-Yeong find their way back to each other? Another title for this story ism”Soul Marriage”. I think they are showing the real Cho-Yeong that Uk loved. That’s who he saw soul to soul when she was the assasin master and brutal to him. Part 1 was about him breaking down her resistance to accept his love. Part 2 is about her doing the same to him. Love will find a way. Part 2 seems to be about healing, and regrowth. Evil will be vanquished, drought will be lifted, all lovers will be together, and we can all sail into the rosy sunset!
I'm not sure how to interpret Jang Uk's words to Bu-Yeon at the end of Ep 4 after he returned from the soul shifters'…
It’s #1. During Part 1, as assassin Naksu, she could not carry emotional baggage. That’s why she resisted caring for him so long, and advised him on her philosophy. In their master-pupil pact, she said, once she regained her power, he “no longer would have a reason to protect her” and she “would have no reason to go easy on him”. BUT he changed it slightly, because he made the choice to continue protecting her. He never intended to obey her. He always chose love.
That’s why it’s so devastating. He abandoned her by living on. The suicidal thoughts come from wanting to join her in death, but he can’t because of the ice stone. At the cliff, he faced that she was gone, and he was forced to keep living. So where does he go from there? He’s at a crossroads.
He’s been the living dead for 3 years, petrified emotionally. Because this is a story of coming of age, his journey back to Naksu/Cho-Yeaon will also be tied to his finally taking the mantle of Kings Star-to do noble things for the good of the people. Before he did things if he was motivated. I’ve been waiting for an epic end battle, with all the 4 seasons and maybe Naksu and CP, pitted against the evil that is afoot. Because this is very much about the next generation of leaders.
Wow! Didnt mean for this to be so lengthy. I ramble.
Kinda agree with the first one even tho it was said that Mama Jin's energy started getting weakened. The other…
I know! Part 2 is still about her looks. It never was about power, which Uncle Seo covets, the slimeball!! Poor Yul! Is he the only pure soul in that family?
Yes! Girl was almost the same height as Park Jin hdauihduia
I was talking about the scene at the lake with Jin Mu. , but you are right about the battle scenes. I saw the analysis on twitter? I don’t social media, so am grateful when people post links.
What’s with the ageism for the women? Part 2, they are questioning Mama Jin’s authority and power because she’s getting “old”. When the rest of the council is sucking prunes. She may be crazy, abusive and Machiavellian, but she looks darn good!
The same as the Queen in Part 1. She was willing to soul shift for what reason? She looked good! She didn’t need to feel threatened for power since she was a Seo. She had a powerful family to back her. She did not need to take the life of an innocent victim to get plastic surgery. It was vanity, not power. Burned as she is, she is still Queen.
Saw this. So this explains how Park Jin and his minions didnt recognize Naksu right away. She had a different…
Yup. Ive been so impressed with the care and planning that went into this project. Can’t believe the people who think it could be changed in response to how they thought story to go.. There is a reason this director is in charge, and how he earned his well-deserved reputation.
Its crazy how people went from, I don't think they'll have good chemistry to okay they look good together to awww…
They really did not have faith in the actors, story, or director. I always had faith and am enjoying Part 2 a lot. I still enjoy Part 1 as the prelude. I just hated the brutal misguided training.
What stab wound? Did I miss something? LolI made sure to pay extra attention esp in S1 to make sure not to miss…
Maybe because she was in a hurry and was being hunted? She was already dying, and felt cornered, that’s why she resorted to AoS? It took a long time for her to completely heal even after Master Lee intervened.

Just thinking to spend the time.
