It’s my opinion. I was in marketing and advertising and was especially struck by her behavior, since Korean actors and actresses use a polite code, even if they are not enthusiastic. A simple “you worked hard” covers a lot. As a Korean veteran it was especially egregious behavior. I kept thinking is she dating SSH? If so, it’s the worst behsvior to spark scandal. If not, how could you do that? He looked terrified, and wisely chose to not engage. mH and JW at one point were staring at her with identical puzzled expressions.

No. I just thought it was unprofessional as a senior actress. Watch Go Ara game with him. She didn’t know stuff either, but she was kind and played along. Her BTS showed the same kind attitude towards a junior. Same with Lee Da Hee.

My eyes were a little more critical because this was PR to promote AOS, and as an actress, she couldn’t fake it on camera for a few hours. LJW is always is on point for promotions, The most he could say was the interviews were a little hurtful.

A few interviews did show her acting better but damage was done. I think the coffee truck from her costar in Monthly Magazine opened my eyes to that fact she can be moody. The truck included a 10 point list on how to get along with her.. it may have been a joke, but it was interesting. I think her fatigue was a factor, and I do applaud that she stepped in for first FL.

I just felt that a veteran actress did not do her job, when promoting her project. LJW looked terrified to touch her at the Press Con, and even doing the hearts was awkward looking. Usually ML and FL are in the center. Did you notice how many times she avoided him and the group photos looked awkward?

Her fans kept talking about her chemistry with everyone, but they sure looked awkward at times.

TBH, I was uneasy with the interviews in Part 1. She seemed was indifferent to her ML, and more actively engaged with SSH. I kept thinking to myself, why is Netflix, TB. Staff or her manager NOT correcting her on camera actions? In the Bamboo forest game, LJW did a dead on impression of everyone. He mimicked her engaged face and indifferent face spot on. She was indifferent and distant to LJW, and engaged with SSH. I think SSH came off stiff because as a young actor, he would not react for fear of scandal. He is more natural with GYJ.

The other takeaway was when they asked the boys what compliments she gave them. They looked blankly at each other. LJW, ever the professional, quickly remembered she praised HmH. Then JSM, who was listening tried to come up with SSH is tall, and LJW is good at action scenes. She didn’t even give them the standard “You worked hard”.

It’s a joy to see BTS and the interviews from Part 2, since they include more of the cast this season. Since they were the ones who worked together from the beginning, their camaraderie feels much stronger and GYJ fits right in with the !

Everybody is complaining about UKs everyday outfit, but JBY seems to favor Do-Hwas dress everyday. Since she moved into the Jang household, that seems to be her go to outfit. She also has simple taste. No jewelry, elaborate hairpins, and lush silks like the other ladies. I like it, and it may be another callback to MD.

I agree. That was why it was a bit jarring when she tried to be fierce Naksu master in MDs body. BUT that was the point of Part 1. The fierce soul was locked into this totally inappropriate body! And I loved JSM as MD! I’m just ready to move on with GYJ as lighthearted Naksu, ignorant that she is fierce Naksu.

Your callback yo HdL reminded me that the firefly scene was like the lover who hovered by the FL lead for centuries, watching over her. Love never dies. And you are right the FL lead was so weary of endless life, with needless regret.

We share the same bias for LJW, and the same opinion that this is the best ML. I was worried at first because it seemed like such a lightweight anti-hero role for our boy, but it gave him such a range for his acting chops!
