The angst between the main couple is good, I'm pretty sure it will lead them to a good ending.I'm worried more…
I agree. We had a snippet of him looking like he was surprised and maybe stabbed, and Uk confronting CP with Naksu’s sword with CP talking about rage, grief and anger. I thought that scene was about maybe when he found out CP had OKd the plot to hurt Uk through Naksu, but maybe it’s to avenge Park Jin? We will see. I was multiple happy ending for all our couples. They deserve it after all their trials. So far, it’s UkYeong, Park Jin/Kim DoJoo, and And Dang-Gu with Cho-Yeon. CP and Eunuch Oh are already a sweet and harmonious pair! The turtle is their family! Haha. I kid, I kid.
I can't help think I doubt Yeong is gonna be this cheerful carefree happy smily bubbly ( yes I have many words…
I like her this way too. It’s part of the story. Bad Naksu creates chaos and tragedy. Look at Episode 20. Part 2 is the consequences of that rampage 3 years later.
Uk couldn't cry at the cliff but he was able to cry in front of JBY.Do you know why it happened?Because JBY is…
I thought he actually teared up at the cliff. But he wasn’t fully able to grieve until now, because he didn’t have a chance to say goodbye. He felt he had abandoned her if he let her go. Being able to say the words out loud to Jin -Buon/Naksu thinking she was MD, we see what was in his heart all those years. And the emotions that flowed over his face as the tears fell and she embraced and comforted him. It was the culmination of just existing, not living, as he just focused on one task. Remember, this was the boy that grew up being taunted as illegitimate, and worthless, who was able to emotionally survive by focusing on other goal of regaining his energy, train, and redeem his mothers name by proving he was a Jang.
Sometimes I can't understand how dumb are kdrama's characters.. like the traitor Jin Mu who instigated all the…
I think the point of GYJs performance was to create that credibility gap. Her original Naksu was so intense, intimidating and grim, with such a commanding aura, it makes it hard for people to recognize the fluffy, feminine, airhead in Part 2, as the same character, even though superbly played by the same actress. There was a side by side comparison when Jin Mu was trying to reconcile the Jin Bu-Yeon he met at the assembly with his last image of her commanding presence at the cliff. (I think that was tween. My brain is fuzzy from lack of sleep. I blame AoS.)
I am not ok with people blaming about Uk's moving on or being a jerk thinking about Nasku while he's with his…
Just try to think of it as misguided loyalty to the actress who played MD. They are jelly that the chemistry of LJW is off the chars with GYJ, so create the a controversy over the characters they play. Plot arc has always been to prove the fated lovers/soul marriage between Uk and Cho-Yeong whether her skin is MD or Naksu or Jin Bu-Yeon.
Everybody keeps mentioning LJWs ability to create chemistry with anyone or anything. Did anyone mention his intense relationship with the pile of rocks that is Naksu’s memorial.?
someone has talked bout it before, (incase if u scroll down) ^^and yes, I was familiar with the actress (Kang…
I agree. My original post though, was just to poke fun at the intense fan wars over different actresses playing the same character in this drama. 😄 I’m enjoying the drama, and these changes are an integral part of the plot, where the external features can change, but the soul remains essentially the same.
That moment when she shoved all that honey cookies in her mouth.
No, it was an incredibly funny response to the remark that MD saved the honey biscuits for Uk, so she grabbed a handful and like a boss, ate them all up, so she wouldn’t be like MD.
I’m wondering if Yul will finally get his pine pollen tea snacks from her. It seems to be in keeping with Naksu in Part 2.
He and Park Jin plotted the whole thing beforehand the night Park Jin said to him he should protect his wife and…
My point is, how did they know about that particular artifact around which the plan was based. I know the rest, just laughing that they based their counter plan on knowledge that an artifact existed that took nail clippings to create an exact duplicate of the owner!
It was so beautiful. And appropriately about being eaten by a tiger. LJW was born in tiger year, and his fan club…
Ok. Ok. Loved the incredible cinematography of the firefly scene. It did make me sigh, then laugh when Naksu described her happiness over bugs to Kim DoJoo!
In the conversation with park jin, he knew she had built it back. But he told him it has collapsed anyway 😭…
They are his foster parents. You can tell how much he cared and respected about them, even during the really deepest grief. The sweet half smile for one one of his first meals we see.
I like Park Jin much better now. It broke my heart how much he punished Uk in his misguided attempts to protect him in Part 1.

Sorry, I was being facetious over the fan wars of the FLs. I try scrolling before initiating a thread, but sometimes it’s too far back for my iPad to handle.
Just asking. How did Jang Uk happen to know of the Jin artifact that used fingernail clippings to become the image of the person whose nails were cut? Talk about my baby’s brain, how far ahead of the game was he to have this all laid out?
