When I first saw her in K2, she was terrible and I avoided her dramas afterwards. But lately she has grown on me. I've enjoyed her performances in King the land, Big Mouth, and Bon Appetit, your Majesty. Looking forward to her future dramas.
Is anyone obsessed with FL’s platform house slippers? I’m guessing they probably made her wear those to fit on screen better since the ML is so tall. I kept focusing on them in every entrance scene. I badly want one.
Search WWW and Bride of Habaek both have very memorable side couples. Tbh I was more interested in Ji Hwan and Scarlett than the main couple. Exactly the opposite of Lee Da Hee's other drama Love is for Suckers where the side couple was way more interesting than the main one.
I feel like K-romcoms have drifted away from what made me love them in the 2010s, the fun clichés, the messy…
Yes exactly! It reminds me the older kdramas that first drew me in. Absurd but very fun scenarios, messy but full of heart. I’ve really missed those kinds of dramas.
Sang Yan here is the same as in Hidden Love — just that this time, it's from his side. You’ll see a slightly…
To me it feels like an entirely different character. Sang Yan in Hidden Love was more extroverted and mischievous whereas in this show he seems very reserved. I haven’t seen much interaction with his sister yet other than a few phone calls so I can’t really picture them having the same kind of bond. Maybe I just have to keep watching.
I started watching this because I adored Hidden Love and Sang Yan was my favorite character. I’m at ep. 10 and seriously considering whether I should drop this. To me it’s boring and slow so I don’t understand all the glowing reviews. Does it get more interesting later on or is it more of the same?
Just saw him at a CNBlue concert this week. I like him even more now. Great singer and performer. I look forward to watching more of his dramas in future.
I’m so glad you mentioned Love is for Suckers. It’s the first couple I thought of while opening this article. I remember nothing else except them from the drama. I’ve been putting off 100 Days My Prince for years. But your article makes it more intriguing. Maybe it’s time to finally watch it.
I haven't watched the anime so not sure why so many people seem to disagree with your casting choices. It's very subjective I guess but I like many of the leads in your list. Good job writing the article it's very creative. Who knows maybe one day the anime might really end up being adapted into a drama. Seems like most dramas these days are adaptations of some sort.
The reason I don't watch Jin Young's dramas is because...I can never see him as a the character. To me, he always…
Thankfully I can still see him as the character instead of Jinyoung. Same with other idol actors. Maybe it's because I only listen to their songs/ rarely watch other content except MVs.
I really am not enjoying the romance part of this show. I not only think it is overplayed but also unnecessary…
I was prepared to watch this show even if there were no romance but I love the fact that there was. Romance was the driving factor in humanizing FL and leading her to support ML. If not romance then something else would be needed to trigger the change in FL’s attitude. I agree the story could have progressed without romance but it’s a great way to attract viewers and I’ve really enjoyed it.
Red flags are exciting in dramas but scary in real life. Interesting choices for green flags, except DJX I never would have considered any of them. My choices would be as follows:
Yoo Ji Hyuk (Marry My Husband) I would marry him in a heartbeat.
Ryu Seon Jae (Lovely Runner). If only I could find someone to love me this much.
Lee Joon Ho (Extraordinary Attorney Woo). Someone who could appreciate and even match my brand of quirkiness. Also that killer smile doesn't hurt.
As for red flags it has to be Kim Tan (The Heirs). The level of possessiveness was ridiculous. But he's so damn fine that it's easy to overlook his flaws.
Just starting the drama. Can someone tell me if there is any romance between the leads? I’ll still watch even if there isn’t but just curious on what to expect.
Goblin and Queen of Tears, the definition of overrated. I actually like most of the dramas on this list but the two I can’t stand. Despite having a lot going for it like great music, cinematography, awesome 2nd leads, the story was not engaging. QOT, is on the same boat, I adore Kim Soo Hyun but didn’t like the story at all.
