Boring and poorly written
The worst historical drama of all time. I've noticed the dramas of late is more for women almost completely leaving out the male leads. This is not right or fair to our chinese male leads. This is not a romance drama and the focus is more on revenge. Neither of them have any redeeming qualities and they choose to remain that way. I stopped watching it because it was that bad. This is not what love is. Love does not treat each other like this. In the past the chinese movies hates on women, abused and raped them which why I stopped watching it. Now they going back to the abuse and misuse of women. Furthermore, I hate dramas where the male lead has been married before.Biggest waste of my time. How could a 17 year old without education and experience able to achieve what no one could was just too unrealistic. The script was boring and trivial. I wasn't entertained or interested, I lament the waste of my time. Script was not interesting or exciting though the cast was excellent in their roles but the series sucked. Shame on the writers for gross negligence failing to come up with something more intelligent. Was this review helpful to you?
Very good!!
I loved this drama, it's touching and has beautiful meanings, well written and very beautiful. The actors performed their roles very well, maybe this is the best role for the actress, she has good abilities that need strong support to give her valuable scenarios like this, the actor is an idol in reality but his acting is very good, I would love to see him in more works, overall everything was good, the plot is strong, the acting is very good, the soundtrack is good, the scenes and directing are good. Was this review helpful to you?
A Missed Opportunity
had the potential to be a gripping historical drama, but it falls short due to weak storytelling, inconsistent pacing, and underdeveloped characters. While the premise of a pearl diver escaping slavery and navigating the ruthless world of commerce is intriguing, the execution feels shallow and repetitive. One of the biggest issues is the lack of depth in character development. Duanwu, the protagonist, starts strong but quickly becomes a passive figure, constantly reacting to events rather than driving the story forward. Yan Zijing, the supposed complex and ruthless merchant, ends up being a predictable and cliché male lead whose interactions with Duanwu rely too much on forced tension rather than genuine chemistry.
The pacing is another major flaw. Some episodes feel dragged out with unnecessary subplots, while crucial moments of character growth are glossed over. Betrayals and conflicts are introduced but resolved too quickly, reducing their emotional impact. Moreover, the dialogue often leans into excessive melodrama, making it difficult to take key moments seriously.
While the cinematography and costumes are visually appealing, they can’t make up for the lackluster writing .

You must watch this masterpiece!
*Story of Kunning Palace* is a historical Chinese drama that delves into themes of power, ambition, love, and redemption. It centers around Jiang Xuening, a woman who once became the empress but met a tragic fate due to her pursuit of power and the ensuing political schemes in the palace. After her downfall, Jiang Xuening unexpectedly gets a second chance at life, waking up in the past before her ascent to power. With the opportunity to rewrite her destiny, she decides to take a different path to avoid the mistakes that led to her tragic end. However, this is no easy task as she navigates a web of palace intrigue, dangerous political factions, and personal vendettas. In the midst of all this, she forms complex relationships with key figures in the court, including a conflicted romantic dynamic with the male lead.
The drama blends palace politics with personal transformation, as Jiang Xuening evolves from an ambitious, power-hungry woman to someone more introspective and compassionate. The second-chance element adds tension to her every decision, knowing that one wrong move could lead her down the same tragic path. There's also a balance between romance and palace drama, with the love story subtly woven into the larger narrative of survival and redemption.
*Story of Kunning Palace* offers a mix of suspense, emotional depth, and historical intrigue, making it appealing for viewers who enjoy character-driven stories with a strong focus on personal growth within the perilous world of royal courts.

Enjoyable but not impressive.
I really enjoyed this series. Some aspects of repetition worked well but on the whole I felt there was too much repetition. Too much going back to their school days and reliving the exact same thing over and over. The love story was very nice, their chemistry was good. But family life was not portrayed in a good light at all. No forgiveness, no real understanding of each other. One scene annoyed me and didn't seem necessary - when on the same day he was being checked in hospital for a wound and he'd had 8 stitches in his hand - she asked him to carry her and he did so without a problem... that seemed a bit odd. On the good side - it was about the possibility of healing and sharing the truth with people around you for support. Was this review helpful to you?

Drama ikusle askoren artean kritikak jaso ditu, eta egia esan, ulertzeko modukoa da.
Hasiera motela eta korapilatsua, amaiera ez-betetzaileak eta emakumezko pertsonaien tratamendu sexistatzat hartua dira gehien aipatutako arazoak. Horri gehitzen bazaio istorio nagusiak ez duela beti harrapatzen, emaitza irregularra da.Ona izan zena
Luo Yunxi (Tang Lici) eta Fang Yilunen (Liu Yan) arteko dinamika distortsionatua izan zen drama honen alderdi liluragarrienetako bat. Bi pertsonaien arteko iragan korapilatuak tentsio interesgarria sortzen du, eta filosofia-ukituak tarteka oso ongi txertatuta daude.
Efektu bisualak eta arte martzialen eszenak ikusgarriak dira. Nahiz eta ez den guztiz nire estiloa, borroka-mugimenduak dotore filmatuta daude, eta ikusmen mailan drama erakargarria da.
Gainera, genero-nahasketa—xuanhuan eta wuxia elementuen arteko fusioa—ausarta eta berritzailea da. Saiakera artistiko hori eskertzekoa da.
Txarra izan zena
Jantziak eta estilismoa: Zoritxarrez, aurreikusi bezala, pertsonaien diseinua eta jantziak traba egiten dute. Gehiegizko apainketak eta estilo astunak istorioa baino gehiago nabarmentzen dira.
Interpretazioa: Aktore batzuen antzezpena ahula edo gehiegizkoa da. Fang Yilunek egindako “gaizto karikatureskoa” bereziki nabarmena da eta ez du dramaren tonuarekin bat egiten. Luo Yunxik duin antzezten du, baina ez da nahikoa drama orekatzen laguntzeko.
Pertsonaien trataera, bereziki Ashui bezalako bigarren mailako pertsonaietan, askorentzat etsigarria izan da. Amaierak ez du askorik konpontzen eta ikusle asko nahasita edo haserre utzi ditu.
Ondorioa
“Whispers of Fate” drama ausarta eta ikusgarri-diseinatua da, baina bere indarguneak ez dira nahikoak akats nabarmenak estaltzeko. Mundu zabala eta kontzeptu interesgarriak baditu ere, narrazioaren oztopo, estilismo groteskoa eta antzezpen irregularra direla eta, esperientzia neketsua bihurtzen da tarte askotan.
Ikusgarritasunagatik merezi du aukera bat, baina ikusleak pazientzia eta tolerantzia handia beharko ditu helmugara iristeko..

Refreshing andsweet drama, it's for you after a long day of work or studying.
*Love Is Sweet* is a delightful modern Chinese rom-com that blends lighthearted romance, workplace drama, and a dash of emotional depth. The story revolves around Jiang Jun (Bai Lu), an idealistic and kind-hearted woman with a rare medical condition that makes her extremely sensitive to tears, and Yuan Shuai (Luo Yunxi), her childhood friend who has now become her boss at an investment firm. The drama's charm lies in its balance of romance and humor. The chemistry between the leads, Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi, is undeniable, with their playful banter and evolving relationship being the heart of the show. Yuan Shuai's mix of being overprotective and teasing adds a layer of fun, while Jiang Jun’s strong, independent character makes her an appealing and relatable lead. Their transition from childhood friends to romantic partners is beautifully paced, filled with sweet moments and mutual growth.
The workplace setting adds another dynamic, as it delves into the challenges of corporate life and personal ambitions. The secondary characters, including colleagues and friends, also contribute to the drama’s vibrant energy and provide additional comic relief and secondary romances.
While the show is mostly light and fluffy, it does touch on deeper themes like grief, trust, and pursuing one’s dreams, giving the story more emotional weight as it progresses.
Overall, *Love Is Sweet* is a feel-good romantic comedy with heart, making it a must-watch for fans of lighthearted, yet emotionally engaging, love stories.

Well i loved it, not something ştrong but it's sweet and enjoyable.
Actually I liked this drama a lot, well I won't say that everything in it is perfect, no at all there were annoying and wrong things, but it is definitely a beautiful thing to watch, the story is good I see that there is a message they want to deliver, a message that you can understand according to your point of view, the acting was good to some extent the actor is handsome and good and the heroine is beautiful, the acting was at a calm level because the drama itself is calm in my opinion, I liked the way some scenes were directed and filmed a lot, I liked the relationship of respect between them as a teacher and a student who love each other without crossing the boundaries and she was the one who sets the boundaries this is good because we usually see that the heroines in Japanese dramas are proactive and don't set boundaries sometimes, here the matter is different the heroine is calm and shy but she is smart and strong in a smart and peaceful way, what I didn't like is the opening song I didn't like much and also their dancing it would have been better if the opening and the theme were somewhat calm to match the idea of the drama but overall it is enjoyable to watch after a hard day.Was this review helpful to you?

One of best xianxia dramas.
This drama is a visually stunning and emotionally intense Chinese fantasy drama, blending elements of romance, power struggles, and dark fantasy. The story is set in a world ruled by demonic forces, where humanity faces extinction, and the female lead plays a key role in trying to turn the tide. The plot is complex, with multiple timelines and deep character arcs, which keeps the audience hooked as the story unfolds. The lead actors, Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu, deliver compelling performances, with excellent chemistry and character development that explores themes of love, sacrifice, and destiny.
The cinematography is a standout, with beautiful sets, intricate costumes, and impressive CGI that brings the fantastical elements to life. The soundtrack also adds to the immersive experience, heightening the emotional weight of key moments.
However, the drama can feel a bit slow-paced at times, particularly in the middle episodes, with some plotlines feeling drawn out. That said, the emotional payoff and high-stakes narrative make it a captivating watch for fans of the fantasy genre.

Started good and ended downhill
The start was giving a high budget drama, then oppp went downhill, the acting of all actors and actresses is awful, just some supporting actors saved it and made some scenes watchable. The Cgi is a huge mess and the background music is randomly set.
the director seems just to put the scene randomly together without any serial consideration.
with all these actors and actresses but they couldn't save the drama as the plot is lacking logic and the characters are off topic with no development in the whole series.

enjoyable with some flows.
I loved the first half and watched it straight through, but around episode 24, I started to get bored because I felt the story was getting a bit repetitive.Actually all xianxia dramas similar in terms of how the main characters are constantly separated and then reunited, and this cycle repeat itself? but at least make some surprises in the plot, let it be full of plot twists, unforgettable fighting scenes etc, to make it more appealing and to avoid making the audience bored, i watched some dramas of these genre and usually enjoy watching thus kind of stories, but i could pass through ep 22 for this drama.

What a stupid drama:/
So cliche and childish drama, like seriously the story is so so but what makes it even awful is the female lead acting, she doesn't even deserve to be called an actress, she is forcing this cute acting thinking it's cute and lovely but it's just overacted and embarrassing, i looked to her age she is almost 30years but those movements looks like a child behavior, don't tell me it's the character type cuz i watched many types of these characters but they were quite good and watchable cuz the actresses were goid in delivering their roles...The male lead is okay, no good but not bad too.

Not bad, but not for everyone taste.
an action-packed drama with a perfect mix of romance, mystery, and suspense. Ji Chang-wook stars as a mysterious courier known as “Healer” who gets entangled In a decades-old conspiracy while protecting Chae Young-shin (Park Min-young), a spirited reporter. The drama keeps you on edge with its thrilling plot and well-choreographed action scenes. The romantic relationship is beautifully developed, with the leads sharing palpable chemistry. stands out for its gripping narrative, strong character development, and emotional depth..I just didn't like some parts of the female lead character but generally it's good. Was this review helpful to you?
