Not me visualising us seated on the mouth of the hole, waiting to see how she will get herself out..Reminds me of the scene in "Crowned Clown " goodness gracious..what a baked brain I have
Why do I feel like if you were in the same room with the writer-nim, this script would’ve filled all those missing gaps? Just saying. I haven’t watched it yet, I’m allergic to hyped-up dramas. I wait until the noise dies down and everyone moves on. But reading your piece honestly makes it sound like Love’s Ambition is a bit like Hell’s Kitchen: one of the trainee chefs clearly has all the right ingredients for a Mediterranean dish, but Gordon Ramsay’s in the background yelling, ‘How on earth are courgettes and radishes supposed to fit in this recipe?!’

He does music, writes OST too but I don't know if he has albums out,he is also friend of the lead of one famous band in Japan that am lazy to remember it's name
i wish i could make a drama, make big bucks within 2 months and then chill for like 2 years doing nothing at home
Make sure you change sides on the sofa when one side is sore.. ultimate dream for sure.. Maybe his family is comfortable and no one is constantly asking him for money
Yes, it is very bingible. ;) You will either have issue with the subject matters and given up or you'll be hooked.…
He reminds me of few 22 and 23s over there in C-dramaland.Their age and the roles they took up were a contrast but they performed them like they have been doing it for ages..Wu Lei(Love Like The Galaxy ) and Wang Xingyue(The Double)Although they are already seasoned actors with at least ten mega projects under their belts, thir age don't scream army General and Duke of somewhere.

It's the first time probably in Asian drama history that actors learn to play instruments and sing just for the project..Takeru Satoh is already a musician and plays piano..and another band member in real life but they all learnt how to play in shows and stuff..It's absolutely mind-blowing..Watch the "Making Of" on YouTube, the behind the scene of what it took to put it together is like wow..humans are really smart..

Ohhh makes sense then..so maybe the clause is there..Am just utterly shocked how young the ML is and how much he really pulled some one the most natural acting I have seen in a J-drama

The "Clause" can have different do's and dont's based on the situation at hand. And am not fan of them,I still haven't recovered from Ren JiaLun in Forever And Ever.
Maybe there isn't one because if you remember at some point the FL was very forward in initiating the skinship and suggesting they move in together and our chickened ML was in flight mode 😂 Am just speculating, though the Japanese are not known to be uncomfortable with age-gap so probably it was the writing. The FL has 1 child,no partner mentioned so maybe you are right, there might be a clause for this reason

You are right..I have watched a good selection of J-dramas and most of them had good skinship but the story was you know very Japanese ,and the ones that are really gripping tend to have limited amount but intense chemistry..This year Glass Heart and Learning To Love were probably the best on my watched list..
I dedicated my whole weekend to it, and after watching, I gotta say, even after Glass Heart, I didn't see Japan stepping up like this.
They absolutely nailed it.I think we're finally moving past those old, boring storylines, right? Like the high schooler/teacher thing or the leads with a cough who know they're doomed. The new writing is amazing, it's not the shock factor 'what the heck?' kind of push, but the 'wait, we're actually having a conversation about this' kind of depth. I'm so curious to see their next project.
My final thought: where were the sparks?! They seriously skimped on the physical stuff.Still, the main actors absolutely carried it. Maybe 22-year-old Murakami Raul Maito is just a little young to be getting cosy with the 37 year old legend Fumino Kimura,I'll stop giving him a hard time.

I just finished Learning to Love and my godddd, Raul where the hell did u come from? I agree with one of the previous…
I was saying that finally Japan finds an actor who doesn't move like an anime, with pre-set action..then I read that his half Japanese, half Venezuelan..ahhh it makes sense, there is not enough Japanese in him 😂

not the best trainer but not bad either
