I can see why this might not be to everyone's taste, but to me it's a total blast! I've always had a soft spot for the vampire genre, anything from the serious approach to the campy stuff, so this drama is just my cup of tea. And I really adore Ahn Jae Hyun. He may not be the most solid actor out there, but he has this way of making me really care about his characters. And for me that's what counts. So I'll be staying with this drama to the end.
Yoon Ri Ta is so arrogant and annoying, I want to punch her. She doesn't even care for her patients, all she wants…
Agreed, arrogant and immature. I laughed when she said she never uses the fact that she's the boss's niece to her advantage, as if we didn't just see her go 'uncle, make him stop' when Ji Sang took over the operation. This girl could use a serious wake up call.
Liked the second ep as well. Silly good fun. And that last scene was quite exciting, can't wait to see how he'll hold up in that situation. I hope that the female lead will be more appealing once we get to know her better, because at this point I find her thoroughly unlikeable. She seemed more interested in showing off than saving her patient. Fingers crossed for good character development on that point!
So glad I waited until it had finished airing so I could watch it all at once. Waiting between episodes for this one would have driven me nuts. It was seriously amazing!
Episode 17 was so good! Especially that last scene... the look on Choi Won Shin's face was priceless! And Soo In confronting him and Hye Won like that was pretty impressive. I'm glad that Ho Kyung is getting a spy mission, and from the looks of the preview Soo In will get something to do too, which is badly needed, she needs a more active role. Gah, want ep 18 right now!
Yeon Ha, you little sweetie! I want to hug you, always playing Cupid for Yoon Kang and Soo In!
That last scene of the episode, when Soo In she reached out to touch his hair... I expected her to pull back at the last second, so when she didn't even hesitate... oh my heart. And when he woke up and held her back... aagh, I need ep 12 now! (Preview looked promising... though I've never been disappointed by this drama yet!)
I wonder if maybe the reason Choi Won Shin once started working for the conspirators against the king is somehow related to Hye Won and her past as a slave, and if perhaps it's gonna turn out to be one of those things where the villain has a tragic back story that's similar to the hero's. Interesting, interesting...
Four episodes left... hope Yang Ha wises up soon and accepts who his real family is, who actually care about him.
On another note, I so love seeing Young Dal spend time with Jung Hee's family. He looks so happy.
The look Hye Won's face when "Hanjo" fought down those thugs was so funny. It was practically screaming "take me now". Quite understandable. It was pretty hot.
