I've seen Gonjiam (love horror movies), but never noticed he was in it💀I haven't seen the Into the Ring.. so gonna watch his past work from now on.
Junho was just AHMAZING in The Red Sleeve, that drama let me know the magic of historical dramas.

I like watching Jung Kyungho and Jo Jungsuk on screen, but find their characters boring here, I might drop it😭

I find 25+ epi Chinese dramas tiring AF💀so props to you for watching anything 100+ lol

I think it's one of the best parts of another culture: their rules and their WHY of doing things their way, so I love exploring cultures through movies and drama. I really adapt to cultural mentalities and do my best to live through the drama as if it was all I know...when in Rome lol

I mean I want my ML to be irrevocably in love with the FL and vice versa and there be rainbows and puppies at the end, if it’s a love story🥰😂

OMG I saw a funny PSJ tweet/meme about "women in the kitchen" and then found out about how he said some crazy ass misogynistic sh*t💀and I am still in the middle of watching the show and I try my best to separate the art from the artist, but I can’t help but feel this high-moral-upstanding character is now nothing but acting🤮he went from quintessential Korean ML to eww

I wish I was like you, you sound like you savour dramas taking your time.. and I am here juggling multiple shows at the same time and jumping around like a fevered crack addict feeling like I am in inception.. *sigh* but this is my life now🤦‍♀️

OMG I asked my friend she said the same... a firm NO! to Indian dramas and said they are like 1000 epis 💀 so nope, my god I can’t barely tolerate Chinese dramas going 20+ LOL life’s too short for that, but she said there was a shorter Indian one a version of F4 which I am like gimme links🤣 (I am super into enemies to lovers trope lol)

What are the other dramas you liked this year? I am so behind, from this year I only remember “Not Others” which started amazing but got boring as it went. King the Land was a joke, even Junho couldn’t save it with his smoulder😂 I just started to watching Hospital Playlist, I hope it’s good as everyone says, 1st epi was a bit meh lol I am also watching Itaewon Class, which I am finding caricature-ish, but still watching cz I want to see these people ruined! lol

I think Kleeun Cheewit is kinda the Thai version... but it was different with a more cool female lead.. it did get slow at the end but the CHEMISTRY! they've had the CHEMISTRY!

Same! I tried watching the 2nd season of Penthouse but nope 💀I couldn't... it felt off from first season's finale itself.. they didn't know how to end this mess lol

OMG I don’t know about the OP, but while I am a lover of “slice-of-life” genre, I also LOVE watching romcoms without a single thought in my head too😂I mean nothing cures stress like watching pretty people falling in love🥰

What I disliked about O2O was.. well the terrible acting of course.. but mainly WHY or where on this earth these people fell for each other ???, like the director threw “here’s a stiff and awkward hug people, see.. from now on they be in TrUe luuurve” And we are suppose to believe this? NOO I refuse 🤣 They both felt like two cardboard cutouts falling in love. In my book a good RomCom is “Lost Romance”, where I fosho switched off my brain lol but still felt feelz about the OTP and was rooting like hell for them.

Truee! I was spent with their antics and had no feels left for them, I dropped it at 12th epi.
It started off amazing, and my god then I got SOOO annoyed by both main leads. Every problem they had was because they were poor communicators. When they finally got together, I felt nothing for them lol. It’s like their chemistry disappeared into thin air. And I realized I now don’t care about any of the characters LOL. The start was so good though but they over dragged the plot thin. Their main conflict got done without any feels.🤦‍♀️ blegh

I've actually seen a film called "Raazi", I wish we had a 16 epi kdrama version of that with North Korea and South Korea with a heavy "Secret Affair"-esque atmosphere... OMG I'd watch the heck out of it! LOL

OMG banal is the correct word. It’s like they come up with an outlandish story/scenario to pitch to investors and producers, but then drop all the required world building, proper scenarios and characterisation and just make something along as they go. Which results in a lot of filler episodes and meaningless drama without emotions🤦‍♀️and I watch dramas for fEELz dammit lol

Yess Jdoramas are so cozy, they also have better characterisation, so even the weirdest drama’s got something endearing about it. Which K-dramas and C-dramas lack, they both feel manufactured AF. The actors don’t feel like characters living in a story but feels like they exist solely to sell the drama. Some overrated dramas feel like they are not here to tell a story about characters living, but to sell themselves. So everything comes across as meh or banal.

Overhyped dramas have big names attached to them and it’s like somewhere along the line the they drop world building and let everything taken care by hype and hype alone, and nonsensical over the top hysterics. I mean I love hysterics when done right, the Thai drama Kleun Cheewit was soooo damn good, I was so invested in their story. Same with Korean “Secret”, both were makjang done right. But when watching CLOY, DOTS, Goblin I didn’t care if the main leads lived or died lol I was more concerned about other small characters, even that evaporated, because their characterisation didn’t have roots and sit right within the story.
