I read theories that the one she loves is actually the little kid on the back hill, Xue Tong Zi. He was poisoned, and thus his growth was reversed; his grown-up version was acted by Joseph Zheng, and in ep 8 you'll notice that the voice of the guy Ziyu met when he went to the back hill when he was a child was also Joseph's voice.

But if you look at the bracelet Prince Yue was holding while reciting a poem with sadness in ep 8, you'll see that the bracelet belongs to Yun Que.

LOL, just thinking about how he got shy while saying that both the brides are beautiful makes me anticipate YWS and GYZ's interaction more. Just imagine the tension between them once they meet and finally interact with each other. The other is a wolf in sheep's clothing, and the other looks menacing but looks like he would succumb to women with strong personalities like he did with his sister.🤣

There are some comments about Jinjin's character being out of place in the dark theme of this drama, but am I the only one thinking that she's definitely not just a funny character who adds comedic relief? I mean, she's the only female descendant in the Gong family and also the eldest; she's definitely not as simple. Even Yun Weishan said that she shouldn't be underestimated.
