I sadly don’t see many people talk about this asadora. I would definitely recommend it! It’s been over two weeks since I finished it and I’m still thinking about it.
I’ve been thinking about the ending of this drama for a little over a week now. All the time I was watching I thought it was about Suzume and Ritsu’s love story. However, the last shot was of Suzume, her mother and daughter. That made me realize it was actually about the love between mothers and daughters. And that makes me a little teary-eyed.
I’m watching bits of Oshin as I’m watching other asadoras and I suddenly recognized as the grandpa in Hanbun Aoi. He played a soldier in both series surprisingly. Both parts were also very touching and I fell they will leave an impact on me.
Complaining about the age gap between the leads seems kind of pointless to me. This is an obvious case of stunt casting. Producers were hoping to drum up viewers by casting two stars of the very popular Meteor Garden. Getting two actors from the old and the new one opens it up to an even wider range of viewers.
I don't really know anything about face blindness, but can you just be magically cured of it one day lol. Anyway, finished the series. It's okay but too different from the original.
Rhys Miguel (Tob) accused Patrick Quiroz (Hunter) of molesting him. Apparently, they were both let go from He’s Into Her because of it…
