No one has proper moral in this drama....😂 No one hesitated to cheat, to scheme, to fabricate the evidences, to lies or to take another person life in order to achieve the goal....🤦🏻♀️
I have to say I enjoy this drama very much. Not perfect of course but it highlight the basic human nature. All characters are grey, different shades of grey some darker some lighter. The drama give each of the character the reason behind each of their action. Some reasons are justified some weren't. Everything is boiled down to the choices that were guided by conscience and moral.
Pei and LR chose a different path while SRQ insisted on his old path but confidence he can change the outcome. Pei's reprimand to SQR at the climax is one of my fav dialogue. Pei screams out everything that I have been thinking about SQR. Most of his speech are amazing.
LC is the most pitiful character. He is being push and suffocate from all direction he barely alive. The most tragic part, his heaviest pressures come from his beloved.
ZLH and ZJM are good actors. I love Mai's lines delivery. Her voice is full of emotions. She is totally LR. ZLH is the best I saw him so far. Hope to see more of his improvements. SRQ actor have potential. He is good when he doesn't have to much dialogues. But his convo with LR on his dying bed showed many of his weaknesses as an actor. He is a good looking lad. Hopefully he can have more chances in the future.

Her acceptance of the same action by 2 different people speak volume about how she really feel about the said persons. She was also devastated when she thought her death was caused by PWX.
Btw, her fetus is a super one... 😎 Fell from the cliff, mental breakdown over the reality of her past death, listen to the heart wrenching story about her little bro's past life, and confrontation with her bro that caused another breakdown. AND, her baby is fine and kicking.

Well, being pressured or hurt by our loved ones causes massive damage. LR can accepted readily the fact she was murdered by SRQ but when she found out about LC, she got a mental breakdown.
I kinda like the idea of SGY and that Lin guy. I hope this time she chooses wisely. I know Su Da Lang is a good guy but with their status the history will repeat itself in some ways.
Also the Crown Prince's female guard/general. She is gorgeous. Those cheekbones are to die for.
She even has much less screen time than Princess's guard. But she caught my attention when she announced Grand Counselor Pei arrival in first eps. I also thought LC and her will have a kind of flings....haha

We will have an eps only tomorrow. I hope at least we will be given a complete part of the confrontation in the cave. I would go crazy if the last scene of tomorrow eps is LR asks who killed me AND.....see you tomorrow......🤣🤦🏻♀️

He was reborn a month before Spring Banquet. He has all the time and opportunities more than Pei to meet the Princess and seduces her properly to cut off Pei's path for once and forever and the most important part to spare LR from all of the heartaches she experienced for 17 years in the past life. But he chose destructive path instead and LR is the collateral damage here.
Contrast with Pei's ways, the moment he had chance he tried to spares LR from her past pains by making sure she won't get together with SQR whom he knew it's a bad news. In the Spring Banquet he sort of filtering LR's husband candidates for her happiness.
So it's seems like the main purpose of SQR's present life is to prevent LC ascension to the throne so his family can be safe and the noble clan can be in power as usual. He has been back before Spring Banquet (I thought after because he rejected LR's advances at that time). So he purposely let their marriage happened and thinking it will broke down again so he can takes back control over LR just like the past. WOW!!
If he is a decent person who really loves LR, he will accept LR in the Spring Banquet, married her and try other ways to save his family and keep the power. But NOOOO, he wanted LR to be destroyed and broken down by Pei (due to misunderstanding, I know) first before he takes charge to shaped the broken pieces into his preferably shape.....Damn!!
So that's the vast differences between him aand Pei in term of loving someone.
Btw, when I was watching the scene of SQR's reborn flashback, he woke up from his slumber in his old study room and he looked at his hands and some items on his desk and came to the conclusion that he has been given second chance by the heaven. I was like, shouldn't you lifted up your robe and pulled down your pants to check first?? 😂
Pei's happy coy shy face at the mentioned of "the father of my future children."..... 🤣 I'm sure he is reminiscing the children making process instead of the children themselves....😎

The past LR wasn't actually a saint.....to put it mildly. With all of the pressures she gave LC, no wonder he snapped.
