I know many said the actor SRQ is a bad actor because he is this and that. But I have to say that I quite disagreed. I noticed that he manages to put some micro expressions in a very well done manner. He is supposedly the gentle scholarly gentleman but when situation isn't to his liking his manic expression can be seen in his eyes and micro expression. For a young actor, this is quite a skill. For comparison, Consort Rou's manic expression is hideous.

I have 2 fav outfits so far. First was on eps 1, his first entrance in the drama as Grand Chancellor Pei to meet a dying Li Chuan. Second, his robes set of light orange and light blue when they have meeting with Tuoba Yan that make several appearances after.

Not many male actors can pulled off ancient looks. The ugliest so far in ancient styling is Luo Zheng. He is smoking sizzling simmering hot in suits but in robes and man bun, he can induce nausea.

Boundary?? Aside from the longing look that she threw to SQR's direction please tell me what else did she does with SQR in the present?? Like I said, did she meet up privately?? Did she take his side in the court before and after she knew he is a reborn? Did she help hin secretly? The longing looks came from the 17 years of companionship in the past. I don't say that those looks and feeling are justified but I understand where she came from.

PWX did angry at her when he recently reborn but after they cleared up the situation just like LR brushed off her being killed by SQR, PWX also shrug off the matter. I agreed that she didn't apologise directly to him. She only said something like you are a bystander that got caught. In the past PWX went to help QZZ who was a Royal Concubine out of past affection that caused the rift between them but I don't think PWX was wrong in helping QZZ. Beside, he did keep an eye on QZZ, if not how the way he received a news of her troubles? His only mistake was didn't explain properly to his wife. IMO, if he wanted to help QZZ he supposedly help her thru LR.

FYI, I have never said the situation is fair for PWX. But just as we see in the drama, PWX admitted that he had his own shares of problem in the past and willing to fix it for the better present. Actually both of them have the same conclusion. So all it's good.

Marriage life is the union of 2 different people from different background both need compromising and adjustments in order to make the marriage works and the process takes a looooooong time. The present LR-PWX are learning from their 20 years of past mistakes to make their present marriage works better. They are filtering what's good and bad from their past life, discarding the bad and keeping the good. But of course the process won't be smooth sailing, there will be always storm, waves etc etc. Each marriage couple have their own unique ways of communicating and solving problems. But they are getting there.

Different with SRQ. SQR is insisting in keeping what is good according to himself. He is still living in the past.

IMO, this isn't about a triangle relationship because early on eps 3 we were told that her killer is SQR. SQR intentionally killed her with slow poison to boot while LR killed Pei due to misunderstanding. So SQR never has a chance in her present life. After the realization of her own death, she has never sought after SQR anymore. The only time she was asking for private meeting was to asked for back up on the case she was handling, even that didn't happen because she chose to go to Pei Family residence to rescue Pei. There are never ever any kind of relationship with SQR in her present life, but viewers are infuriated because of THE looks she gives him....😂

The actors usually are topless and the actresses are on tube top. At least that's what I have seen from other dramas BTS

I have to admit SRQ’s actor is an excellent one. He can appears innocent slimy greasy crazy and deranged at the same. He is young in age but he is good.

I read bits and pieces of the novel here and there I see that it always describes Pei as an elegant man. I can say that ZLH totally fits the bill as an elegant man whether in his 40s with that sexy facial hair or in his 20s.....

Totally agreed. I won't even called them flawed characters but normal human being characters instead. The character development is this character is decent even for LR IMO.

She is little by little distancing herself from SRQ's past affection talons but I can understand that it's not fast enough for many people liking 😂 She has never has any relationship in any forms with SRQ in private while she gives Pei lots of attention affection plus fight argue with him.
I know some complained that she never stood up for Pei in public but isn't that part of the couple's plan? She is also never defends SQR in public and in front of Pei, the only hateful thing she does is giving him the so called eyes.

But this week eps and beyond I expecting to see Pei's full pledged power unleash to take down SRQ and his cronies.

"Other than this I don't think there is much reason to hate him because villains do villain stuff that's why they are villains that's why people aren't annoyed by him but rather from the ambiance of the scene and FL's reaction."

Another reason is stated by the poster above you....😄 Many in Team Pei is annoy because some lines/scenes that supposedly by Pei in the drama was given to SRQ in the drama. I saw the outrages in the X.

One of the reason is Pei offered to be the emperor's sword in present life. So he must not stand out. In the past he put all of his energy for power.

Pardon me, I know everyone including me are hating on SML but in fairness I don't think he has THAT many screen times as many claimed it to be. Before he found out about our couple reborn situation, he was only popped out once in while to show his forlorn yearning face with teary puppy eyes. He started getting MORE screen time only recently when he has been sure of the reborn situation and started showing his fox tails.

I think majority are just annoyed that every single time he emerged, LR is staring at him with THAT kind of eyes.....😂

It's because the rebirth aren't only 2 of them. Their enemy who is smart and has plenty of knowledge about their previous life also reborn. Hence the chains of events are totally different than before.
